Chapter Ten

~Damsel~

Prince Lansel stood near the waterfall, staring intently at it. The place is foggy and misty making it difficult for someone to see the Moon Realm. But the fading image of the Moon Realm still stands.

He sighed and turned when he sensed as presence just to see that girl with the bewildering silver hair and silver eyes, walking towards the waterfall. He raised a brow at her and superspeeded towards her.

Niamh screamed in fright but palmed her mouth at the sight of Lansel.

"You! How dare you scare me!" She yelled and threw a persimmon at him. The grout hit his forehead but he didn't even bulge.

"What now? You ain't feeling anything? I know you're so weird and freaky!" Niamh stated, making a weird face.

"Wait, the last time you were dressed like a prince and now?"

"Do you think you can fit in like those in the Calm Region? Who on Earth are you?" Nimah went on and on, asking.

"A demon? wizard? Fairy? Or a Mortal supernatural?" "I guess you are..."

"Lansel" Lansel cut her off

"Deaf" Niamh said.

"Damsel? Is that your name? Oh Damsel" she burst out laughing. She heard him saying something but she was also talking at that time so, she didn't hear him correctly.

He said 'Lansel' but she heard 'Damsel'

Lansel kept shut and didn't say anything

"Okay Damsel, what are you doing here? I bet you are lost" Niamh stopped laughing and put on a serious face. But internally, she still wanted to laugh some more. To her, it is really funny and ridiculous for a man like him to be named 'Damsel'

Lansel turned away from her 'Hiw could she be so dumb to think my name is Damsel' he thought

"Well I'm not dumb. You told me your name was Damsel" Niamh replied after reading his mind.

Lansel snapped his head to stare at her, there was shock written all over his face.

"You read my mind?"

"Not like it's a new thing" she rolled her eyes. This is not the first time she read someone's mind. She's a lowlife supernatural, but also a mind reader. Maybe being a lowlife supernatural isn't what they expected they'd be.

Lansel turned away and stared at nothing. In the whole of Moon Realm, except his mother, no one can read his mind because of how powerful he is. But this lady.... What is she? Who is she?

"Can we hangout?" Lansel suddenly asked. Niamh hesitated for a while and nodded.

"I still can't believe your name is Damsel, that supposed to be a female name" Niamh stated but Lansel kept shut. He had a lot to think about that he didn't reply her.

"Damsel, sounds like Prince Lansel" Niamh added and Lansel snapped his head to stare at her.

"Did you know Prince Lansel?" He asked and she scoffed.

"Ay, that ugly and pot bellied prince. He looks like a villain, his teeth so yellow for he brushes once in two weeks, he smells like pig's poo and walks like a zombie" Niamh described, her face contorted in disgust and Lansel stated at her in disbelief.

He was utterly shocked and speechless by the description Niamh gave about him. Is that how the people of the Calm Region describe him? Ugly and what!? Hells!

"Have you ever seen him?" He couldn't help but ask and Niamh shook her head, shrugging her shoulders.

"Then how did you know he's ugly?"

"People exaggerated about his handsomeness though they've never seen him, I won't be surprised if he's some kind of ugly duckling. I can imagine how unattractive he is. Geez... He isn't get to be a prince. His mother should just disown him, yulk!"

"Can you stop this!" Lansel siad grimly. His gaze turned cold, instantly. If only she knew who is walking with her right now, she'll swear to dig a hole and bury herself.

Niamh turned, staring weirdly at him "I know you are weird just like my friend, you got upset for I described the prince in a bad way. Goodness Ee-fah can die for handsome men"

"I'm I not handsome, she'll go crazy if she sees me?" Lansel smirked boastfully and proudly.

"Ay, that's her" Niamh mumbled a reply.

"What about you?" He tilted his head, smirking. Nimah turned to stare at him properly, her silver eyes boring into his sea green ones that for a while she froze. She suddenly remembered Aoife's description about prince Lansel 'sea green eyes and black hair'

She shrugged the thought and faced him...

"I doubt you have to try harder to please my eyes, Damsel"
