Chapter 14: Spirits
Daniella choked back a laugh at her outburst.
"He pisses me off. Sorry, continue."
"No, it's okay. I'm right there with you. After Greg got there, I became overwhelmed. I just felt this deep rage build inside of me, and then I electrocuted him."
At Astrid's raised eyebrow, Greg chuckled. "Don't get excited. He survived."
She huffed. "We'll have to work on that. Anything else?"
"I also destroyed a room in Greg's house. I was having an anxiety attack and needed to breathe. Then Greg's window shattered and vines poured into the room. And I've started hearing these voices - "
"Voices?" Greg asked.
Daniella fidgeted under his stare. "Yes. I wasn't sure how to tell you. It started last night. I only hear them sometimes, normally when I'm around you."
"Interesting." Astrid sat forward. "What do they say?"
