Chapter 5 - are you crazy? -

Nashi panted as jay was pale white standing in the alley from before. Jay wanted to reverse time as he wished he hadn't said those words that had cornered him with a fire breathing girl and a dark alley.. yeah he would rather get beat up now or worse…

"Jay… what did you say?.."

*nashi now took a stance of that of what her father would take when he would get ready to fight a foe.. jay only slouched as much as he could to the brick wall as he looked at nashi who was a head shorter then him.*

"Me? Say something?? Nope! I didn't say anything right now…"

"Don't play stupid jay!! You said you Fucken loved me!!! You forget your crush has ears of a dragon!!!"

* nashi puffed out smoke as to intimidate jay more. It worked since jay felt himself blush more as he noticed nashi had kabe-don him, since when has she gotten so close to his face???? Was she blushing too???*

"Nashi??.. I think your cooking me…"

"Stop avoiding the subject and answer me!! Did you not say that you love me?.."

*Nashi spoke in a soft tone now.. almost scared of what he would say now, had she backed him up into a corner to much? Would he deny he hadn't said that a few moments ago?*

Jay gulped as he closed his eyes and stood up a bit straight to gather his courage again.. Nashi had released him from the kabe-don as she looked up at him. She watched at how his Adam's apple had boped in a nervous way as he faced her now.. he opened his eyes as he pushed all his emotions that bubbled in his stomach down as he took a big breath in.

"Nashi.. I said I have feelings for you… and I know you probably don't feel the same way so-"

*jay was silenced as his eyes widened when he felt Nashi kiss him square on.. he melted into her soft lips as his fierce blush had vanished, he hesitated to touch her back with his arms but slowly rested his hands on her waist. Their kiss was innocent as they both separated tgere lips from each other from the new sensation they felt.*

"I'm not sure how to feel about you loving me already when I only discovered i like you too Jay.. so can we still be friends, but in some kind of slow relationship only till I find a way to love you too?"

*Nashi asked shyly as she already knew her heart throbbed and wanted to burst at the idiocy things she had said from her mouth but calmed down as she felt Jay hug her with a tight squeeze.*

"I would love to wait for as long as you want, I'll wait until your ready nashi.."

*Nashi hugged him back as she thought how lucky she was to have a friend, enemy, and guy who loved her have the patience to put up with her..*

'I must be someone pretty special to a dork like him..'

Nashi smiled happily as she thought that and broke the hug realizing now it was dark and her father was gonna kill her..

"Oh fuck! My dad is gonna kill me!!! He told me to be home before it got dark!!"

*Nashi panicked as Jay grabbed her shoulders to calm her down.*

"Relax, let's go to my house and have my mom call your mom to let your dad know you got sidetracked with me."

"Good plan, my dad wouldn't get upset if my mom is in the middle of it so let go now! Before he comes looking for me!"

Nashi grabbed jays hand as both went running in the night twords his home.. Jay only smiled at how he suddenly felt much better and was the happiest person in magnolia knowing she liked him back.

Natsu felt a shiver run down his spine a moment ago as he waited by the door starring at the clock. He huffed a small flame at how disobedient and rebel like daughter he had raised.

"I knew I should have not spoiled her much!"

"Relax natsu, I'm sure she is busy at the guild or someplace else… she wasn't left the house in a month, give her a break tonight Hm?"

*lucy sat natsu down on a chair as she massaged his shoulders, he sighed as how he couldn't go against Lucy's words as they both heard Lucy's communicator go off.*

"I got it mom!"

*Liddan yelled as he was the closest one to the device and answered the phone.*

"Hello! This is the Liddan speaking?"

*"oh hi there Liddan, I wanted to speak to your mother to tell her that Nashi is here at our apartment. She won't be long now as I'm sending her off with Jay to walk her home, would you mind telling her that?"*

Juvia finished the explaining as Liddan shook his head and agreed to relay the message.

"Mom, it was aunt juvia. She said Nashi is at her apartment and she is sending Jay to walk her home."

*Liddan yelled to his mom from the living room where all the Dragneel children were playing board games. They all would have been in their rooms but they all wanted to see their eldest sister get in trouble for something like staying out late at night.*

"See natsu? Nashi is at Juvia and greys home, she is coming home now with Jay walking her making sure nothing happens… are you a bit less tense now?"

*lucy tried reasoning as natsu pouted and didn't respond. After 7 minutes Nashi had arrived at the front door of her house as she turned around to look at Jay, they both blushed as they didn't know what to say now..*

"So.. see you tomorrow?"

*Nashi asked as Jay nodded*

"Yeah.. want me to pick you up tomorrow too? We can go on a quick mission or train a bit…"

*jay leaned closer to Nashi as to whisper out the last part out of embarrassment but felt her grab his collar and kiss him on the cheek*

"Yeah I would love that… "

Just as Jay was about to kiss Nashi's cheek back, Liddan suddenly opened the door startling the two of them.

"…. Be lucky it was me who opened the door.."

"I'm sorry Liddan… hehehe.."

*Nashi laughed a bit with her hands together as if thanking him already for keeping the secret. Liddan only sighed as he moved to a side to let Nashi in but gave a glare to Jay as he gave him a suspicious look.*

"You, we talk tomorrow.."

"Sure…"

And with that Liddan slammed the door on jays face. Jay didn't mind though, he jumped in happiness as how he really was on cloud nine right now.. he had a date with Nashi tomorrow..
