Chapter 4 - time -

It's been 2 days since Jay stormed out of Nashi's home. He sat on the sofa as he sighed of how stupid he was to think Nashi would have feelings for him.

"What's got you bothered?.."

*grey and juvia had returned from their vacation early as juvia felt homesick. Grey had scoffed annoyingly as he had no choice but listen to juvias cries.*

"It's nothing dad… just problems.."

Grey took a seat next to his son as he shared the same annoyed look as his son… might as well try seeing what this is about…

"*sigh*.. don't be stubborn and tell your father already.. what's wrong?"

"It's… it's a girl…"

*Jay blushed as he felt a sense of heartbreak at how he already knew Nashi wasn't and would never be interested in him… *

"Ahh… I see your finally curious about women.. so whose the lucky girl?"

*grey teased his son as he smirked at him, he really didn't have anything against his son dating but was curious who had caught his interest.*

"It doesn't matter… she doesn't have any feelings for me… I got that message loud and clear two days ago.."

Grey smacked his sons head as he whined at the sudden hit.

"Hey! What's that for dad!"

"That's for giving up so easily.. tell me what happened."

*grey got comfortable now as his son began explaining about the mysterious girl he would talk too. He explained about how they almost kissed and how he had thought maybe she had feelings for him now, but turned out she was sick and was actually irritated by him..*

"Hmm.. Jay let me tell you a story… it's about how your mother was up my ass 24/7.."

"Say what now?!"

*Jay blushed as his father laughed and gave him a smug look.*

"Yes, you heard.. she would always stick to me like glue. She was my stalker first, then my friend, eventually she confessed her feelings to me… I wasn't interested back then to start a relationship but always rejected her… in the end I fell in love with her in time and reciprocated her feelings. "

*grey smiled softly as he looked at their family picture hung in their small apartment. He would never regret that decision in his life because he met the most amazing woman since day 1.*

"So… I should be a stalker like mom?"

*jay got another smack to his head from his mother now who over heard the conversation she sat on greys lap as she talked to her son now.*

"No! You are a man Jay! Juvia your mother was only allowed to stalk your father because im a woman. If you really love this girl, give her time… maybe she will explain to you why she didn't want you with her at the moment. Also try being more forward with her, she might not even know you have feelings for her."

*juvia smiled as her face had gotten older but still remained a bit youthful. She has begun to braid her long hair as a style to keep her hair intact and neat. Grey smiled as he nodded twords his son in agreement.*

"Yes, just give her time… she might be the one for you and maybe not. Who knows you might find someone else who your interested in more.."

*grey gave his final advice as Jay nodded and got up to leave his parents alone in the living room, he already knew his mom was gonna kiss his father so he rather not see that and take a walk.*

Finally Nashi's heat had gone away but was lectured by natsu to always be on guard with these dates from now on, she didn't understand her fathers worries but had agreed to mark down her dates of when she had started this whole 'heat' thing and to come home immediately if she felt funny.

She took a big breath of fresh air as she finally walked back into the great city of magnolia, she missed everything as she loved being outdoors and hanging out with her friends… a thought came pass her head as she reminded herself to apologize to Jay who had came to check up on her with kind intentions… she had screwed up on yelling at him and pinning him down with angry in her state.. but she looked around to see where she could find him.

She arrived at the guild as the sun was setting already and she hadn't found Jay yet. She sighed as she asked her aunt mira for a pint of liquor.

"Nashi… your father is back in town you know? You might get caught if he sees you drinking.."

*mira being herself teased the pink girl who only sighed and rested her head on the counter.*

"I don't care anymore, I only wanted to find Jay to apologize to him for something I did… but I can't find him anywhere.. *sigh* "

*mira tapped the wooden table to get Nashi's attention as she pointed at the end of the table to see a slouched over grey look alike. Nashi thanked her aunt as she got up took a shot of her liquor and walked to Jay.*

"Um.. am I interrupting something?"

*nashi waited for Jay to reply but only snores had answered her… she sat in a seat next to his as she brushed some of his hair away to see a handsome sleeping face grace her.*

"Hmm you look cute when your asleep ice-cube.. when will you wake up?"

*nashi muttered as she poked his forehead hard making him wake up instantly. He focused his sight on who had poked him as he relaxed it was Nashi as he turned his head to not look at her*

"What do you want now, fire-cracker?"

*nashi could hear him perfectly as she sighed and grabbed his shoulder to speak to him.*

"I came to apologize, I saw after you left that I was not myself… also you didn't even give me a chance to thank you for the flowers… I like them.."

*nashi blushed as she felt a warm feeling bubble in her stomach like butterflies… maybe it was the fire she ate that afternoon*

".. liar, those flowers were good as trash.. if I had known those flowers would be so fragile I would have been more careful.."

*jay still had his back turned to her but now he wasn't upset, he was blushing madly as he can feel how close she was behind him… did she really like his gift??*

"Hahaha, you know I didn't believe you were worried about me at first until I saw the flowers, even though they were ruined.. I'm drying them out to keep them.. your the first guy to give me flowers.."

*nashi blushed as she combed back a strand of hair as she looked infront of her as she sat forward in the bar. Jay's curiosity got the best of him now as he turned his stool to look at her face as he showed her his red face as well… she looked so gorgeous now as the orange tint of the sunset complemented her pink soft hair… his heart beat faster as a question flooded his mind*

'Should I ask her if she has feelings for me? Should I ask her about that kiss? Should I ask her how's she feeling?!'

His brain spas-am at how many questions went through his head at a lightning speed but stopped as he locked eyes with her… he didn't care what he looked like now and decided to follow his mothers advice and model.

"Nashi… I love you.."

"W-what!!???!"

*nashi exploded literally as flames bursted from her as jay cupped his mouth and blushed a hotter red that not even their aunt erza or Esmeralda can rival with their hair. Nashi put out her flames as quickly as she could as she waved to the members of the guild that everything was fine and dragged Jay out of their.. mira who had her son Elias helping her only tskt her teeth as Elias looked up at her.*

"They are going to end up together aren't they moma?.."

"Yeah they are… I need to go collect my bet from your aunt cana now…"
