It's in your hands

Rubick's words had given Jayce hope for the future. For the longest time, he had felt as if he was at the forefront against the unknown enemies. Yet knowing that he now had a backer, it was as if a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

"Can you tell me some things about Earth's evolution?" Jayce asked hesitantly.

Rubick thought for a moment before nodding. He leaned back into the lounge once more, getting comfortable.

Jayce tried to hide his excitement, but his wide eyes and fidgeting made his mindset obvious.

"I don't understand what the system is, nor why or how monsters appeared on Earth suddenly. I originally thought that Cataclysm descended upon Earth, which would explain the monsters and system perfectly. But now I am lost."

This was something that had been bothering him for a while now. Even after Rubick had mentioned Earth's evolution, these were the two points that did not add up.
