Sera said, smoothing her pants which I had messed up. Now that the wolf has been freed from the curse it has also gained its previous appearance and he has the glossy, jet-black fur, with some streaks of white at the end of its bushy tail, near his paws.

" Ahh.. mofu~mofu~" Rudra said absent mindedly after looking at the wolf who looked as if it was just made to cuddle.

"Ouch!..what I was just admiring his fluffy-ness" Sera smacked her host and husband in the back of his head, annoyed by his expression which looks like he will Start drooling any second now.

[ Focus on the matter at hand now, what are you gonna do about that wolf now ]

Sera asked, feeling a little jealous, sensing his attention still on nights fluffy ears and tail wondering if she should change her body to a Feline.

(Maybe I should try taking a wolf woman form with fluffy ears and tail, or a kitsune hmm..)

Sera wonders how to grab her husband's attention. You should not underestimate Sera, though she behaves like a normal women she is infact a Overpowered system with functions that would make even some young masters from wuxia worlds vomit blood, but to her fate her host is someone who didn't like to use her Overpowered abilities at all with some exceptions.

She tried hundreds of times to woo him to use her Overpowered abilities but he always refused saying he likes to grow with his own efforts, so she reluctantly agreed and till now her all the functions are gathering dust in her core except some basic ones.

Rudra is in peril now, when he had first asked God for a system he had an image in mind after reading a certain fanfic which had shown that system was capable of even overthrowing their creator god.

Maybe the god used his memories as a reference, which made sera overpowered from start, her functions alone can cause a certain mad Titan to abandon those stones and make a run for her.

Rudra didn't dislike taking advantage of something which he already has, but he had made a goal, a promise to himself that he will train until he is satisfied with his strength. without any shortcut and test his patience and endurance. but he also felt sad seeing sera's sad expression which made him feel like he was not suitable for her as a host who refused to use her functions. And as a system like human desire she also has a desire which makes her want to be used by her host, use her functions to help her host reach greater heights.

But it looks like he can no longer avoid it and he doesn't have a reason to avoid it, his promise to himself has already ended so, it doesn't matter anymore and he is not like some beta minded MC from shounen.

He looked at sera with a sorry gaze and said in a guilty voice.

This particular way of saying it sounded so wrong in various ways but as always rudra don't know how spew cheesy lines so he just said it as it is.Hearing this sera who has incalculable thought processing power has her thoughts halted for a moment because her host just blurted out the words her ears were thirsty to hear for millions of years.

I don't know what to say except sorry, but I don't want to become someone who is not able to keep his own words and I had made a promise to myself which I was not able to back on." Rudra said what was on his mind since the start of his journey, their was not a single day that he didn't think about using sera's function to complete his training earlier, but alas he knew if he turned back on his own words himself than their was no way he will be able to keep his words in future and become a loose person, a slave to his desires.

After Sera digested his words she jumped into his arms and gave him a kiss filled with love.

" O-Okay!" Rudra was a little overwhelmed by her enthusiasm, even so he agreed to her demand.

" Shit,we nearly forgot him." Both were so engrossed in their conversation that they forgot the wolf who was still inside the tub.

Sera walked towards the wolf and brought him out of the tub and dried him with magic.

Sera looked at the wolf with a loving gaze which made the wolf pup title his head in confusion thinking what was the Black haired horned woman doing, but he was enjoying the hot air flowing out of her hands as he began to run his head on her palms.

Rudra seeing this felt a little guilty but he also thought of the Black Fenrir as a lucky charm.

" So, how about a name for him? I certainly liked the name Night for him as his silky black fur and his crystal eyes resemble a starry clear night. But I would leave that decision to you sera." Rudra said to sera who was now cuddling the wolf pup.

Sera put the wolf down and stared at him, a magic circle started to grow under the whole log cabin and she went inside Rudras soul, Rudra walked the wolf pup who was sitting on its hind leg wagging his tail, and said in a majestic voice.

" FROM NOW ON YOU SHALL BE KNOWN AS …NIGHT"

"WOOOOOOO!!" Night's body shined and his hair colour changed into a sleek silver colour and a silhouette of a cool and ferocious looking fifteen feet wolf stood behind Night as it howled alongside him. After a minute it went inside night's body.

[ Night has been evolved to the peak of its species ]

[ Black Fenrir has been evolved to World Devour Black Fenrir ]

Just as he finished naming Night, Suddenly multiple notifications rang inside his head in a robotic voice which was obviously feminine.

He was wondering if it was a function because he couldn't remember anything like that showing in the anime.

[ Hehe~ surprised dear, Aahh… finally how much I longed to say those words, hehe~ ]

" Okay, okay stop you are making me feel guilty now"

[ Ahem.. That was one of the functions of the system. It is called the Subordinate Naming ceremony. It has the function to evolve anyone to the peak of their race you name at the cost of your mana. Just like a certain Great sage ]

Rudra sighed thinking that he was not absurd enough being as strong as a god now even his pets are able to destroy world's.

He felt like going to sleep early because the absurd ness of the situation was causing him a headache but he was not going to deny that he was also feeling a little excited, he wondered if his memories are affecting his emotions somehow.

" Okay let's go, it is already evening I am feeling extremely hunger let's go Night"

Rudra walked towards the door Night following his back wagging his tail like a loyal dog.

After coming to earth he first went to bathe with sera and Night, where sera cleaned Night with the brush they got from the drop item of some monster.

Rudra went out of the bath ahead of them and went to prepare dinner. Rudra was in a good mood right now after he saw the cherry appearance of sera whose smirk was not leaving her lips.

He prepared the dinner with his Master chef cooking skills he had gained from his long life.

He used the rabbit meat and filled it with pure mana, which made the meat glistening in golden colour. He also injected pure mana inside every ingredient which made their taste out of the world. If any normal human were to eat his cooking they would definitely ascend to heaven.

As he was preparing the dinner the aroma of grilled meat drifted all over his house, sera and night both entered the dining room drooling, just as he finished setting food on the table. He also prepared the same food for night as him.

" Dear I am starving~"

" Woof "

Sera said as she sat and rubbed her stomach, Night following his example he also used his front paws to tap his stomach which made him look strangely human and cute.

He smiled at their antiques, even though it hasn't been more than one day after they meet Night he was already like a family member.

" Hai, hai here and pray before you eat"

Rudra said and served the food, he was sitting at the opposite side of sera and Night, both of them were sitting side by side looking at the meat like a lion ready to pounce on its prey.

Clasp

Rudra clasped his hands sera followed him and even night emitted him.

""Itadakimasu"" Rudra and sera.

" Woof" Night.

After that they enjoyed the meat as you can see their soul ascending heaven if not for Rudra to stop it using his magic.

After their dinner both sera and Rudra went to their bedroom and spread the futon for two.

Night also hopped in the futon between them and slept by putting his head on the pillow which made rudra suspect that maybe he was a reincarnated person which will not be so shocking as he is also a reincarnated person but he banished this thought as their are definitely dog breeds which are in some cases more smarter than human so, night being this smart is not so surprising.

" Good night Honey, Night"

" Good night dear~"

" Woof"

Sera replied in her honey like voice as well as even night replied in his usually a barking sound.

After that they all felt asleep, but they failed to notice the red thread of fate that was starting to condense as it encompass the three of them especially Rudra if the god were to see it he will surely laugh rolling on the ground as the boy who want to avoid trouble and live a peaceful life was being recognised as a Protagonist by the world itself.

They slept with a smile on their faces unaware of the world preparing trials that are going to test the limits of his patience which he had honed for a Hundred million years.
