Beginning of awakening ceremony

Planet Dres. Three Light years away from ancient earth.

An exquisite, medium-sized hut looked out of place among a cluster of mansions full of grandeur. Around the hut was well-kept spirit grass of a radius of about 4 li. It obvious looked like some old fogey or a nature-loving young master was residing there.

A boy of about 15 years of age was lying on a jade bamboo mat facing the sun. He seemed to become more charming as he he gently twisted the stalk of spirit grass between his teeth. There he was, the chaos overlord, sorry...Qin Hao.

"Young master", a cute young girl of about 11 called out admiringly, "If you don't get up, you're going to be late."

He raised his head up sluggishly and looked at the cute girl with a lazy smirk," Give me five more minutes."

The casual remark threw the cute girl into a frenzy. Partly, it was because of how handsome he looked and... he had said that six times already.

"No way. Young master, you need to get up right now or I will be scolded by the second elder and the other maids will laugh at me and I will be isolated and..." She really looked like she was about to burst into tears.

Qin Hao wanted to disregard her but his expression instantly changed when he heard a soft sniff. He turned his head round slowly to look at the girl , like he was really frightened, and confirmed it. In a flash, he was out of the mat and had worn appropriate clothes.

"An Jing, please don't cry. I am really going out now. Believe me, I am already going." Qin Hao was in a panic. He really hated to see females cry. He took off running immediately.

Just a few seconds later, An Jing's face slowly turned into an indescribable smile, "Young master is so cute." Her voice then dropped down and she murmured, "If only...If only,..."

The awakening ceremony was about to begin! All the 15 year old youths brimming with anxiety were gathered at the main courtyard of the Qin Clan. When it was three minutes to 10:00. An elder announced the ceremony was going to start at 10:00 AM. This elicited more anxiety and discussions from the Qin Clan members.

At exactly 9:59, a boy came slinking in with his two hands supporting his head from the back. The lazy style of walking and the severely late coming of the boy in comparison to others attracted much attention.

Everyone including the elders looked at him in admiration. His gait, though lazy felt natural and at one with the world. It felt like some kind of grandmaster had posed and said domineering words. The scene looked so breathtakingly beautiful like a sword Immortal descending into the world. The only that was missing was a backstage music!

Humans had advanced really fast during the twentieth to fiftieth century. They had even fully developed spaceships and found habitable planets.

Disaster struck at around the fortieth century when they found that some beasts were rapidly evolving into terrifying fiendbeasts. But God still gave them a way to resolve the problems. Cultivation! Humans could now cultivate!

Through numerous deaths and countless sacrifices, they managed to pave a path of blood out of the apocalyptic era. It was really not easy. Now a millennium had passed after that and humans had finally stabilized themselves.

Though there were still numerous fiendbeasts, they were not a threat anymore. Now it was other races! Humans had discovered there was an alliance called the Star Alliance. It was composed of different grades of races. From the highest level SSS to the level of F. Human beings were....Unranked!

"With that sort of technology?", you might ask. They were looking at the bodies of humans. They were simply too weak. Too Weak! In terms of Technology, they were on par with S-Class civilizations. But their bodies were weak.

They would have been destroyed by an E-level lower demon race because of the high-level tech if not for the intervention of an A-class race who said they were seeking for mutual benefits...or more like partial enslavement. They had to be received by the star alliance or humans could be wiped out anytime from some high level being who was finding a playground or the shockwaves of some bosses fighting.

The star alliance then granted them a world. The Primordial Chaotic Battlefield! It was full to the brim with resources. Yeah, there was a catch. They were going to share it with eleven other races or rather fight for it. In Ten years, who ever had the most shares of the battlefield will be admitted or whoever was left after all others surrendered. It was like entertainment for the bosses.

As if they were targeting humans, technology couldn't be allowed there. Even an electric toaster. No guns, mechs, cameras and all sort of legendary equipment. Just cold weapons. Unless, Humans would have totally wiped them out. They had to cultivate and use cold weapons.

There were 12 planets inhabited by humans, The Qin Clan was in Plant Dres. And as for Qin Hao? He was a peerless talent and also the Qin Clan secret weapon.

The late clan head had a good eye. He had told them before he died when Qin Hao was still three years," No matter what, that Qin Child has a bright future, make him truly live for the Qin Clan.

It was true. He was really a genius. A true elite. Now they expected him to awaken a grade 7 talent at least. If the late clan head was correct, a shocking grade 9! That was truly rare. The number of humans who ever had it, dead or alive, was just a two-digit number!
