Chapter-6 Greeting him.

Kasia was ready to go school now, now having her breakfast like usual.

"Mom" Kasia called her mother who was sitting across her, wanting to solve her dilemma.

"Hmmm.." Her mom replied. "What is it?"

"Mommy, you hadn't told me, how did a girl become a boy suddenly?"

"Huh? Who become boy?" Her mother asked in confusion.

"Mom! You said that I would get a playmate, and she would be a girl, remember?"

"Ohh..that, I had some confusion." Her mom said guiltly.

"MOM!" Just before she could say anything else, her mom said "Sorry, but you are getting late now, go on."

Her mom said standing from her seat and handing her, her bag.

"Bye baby, Have a good day at school." She said pushing her towards the door.

Kasia shook her head, as she moved towards the door. As she remembered something, she ran towards the garden and saw the wall which parted the both her and her neighbours house.

"I have a lot of time to go school." She said as she putted her bag on the swing and started climbing up the wall.

She tried many times, but seeing no sign of even ever reaching it, she started thinking about her next plan.

Her eyes went off to the chair standing near the table as her face bloomed with a smile. She ran towards the chair and took it as she ran back near the wall. She put the chair in right position. She climbed on the stool and stood on it getting a little view of the other side of the house. She tried to peak and saw no one there.

She tiptoed on her legs to get a better view of the place.

There was the side garden of their house.

She had seen their house before, even before they shifted here. Before them there lived a sweet pair of old couple and she had sneakingly many times had visited them by climbing this gardens wall as there were bodyguards on the front gate and she can't let her father know. The house was just like she remembered there was a garden all around it as beautiful flowers were planted there. The grandma who lived here loved gardening and she had helped her many times in digging the soil and doing some hard work as grandma was unable to do that because of her old age. The grandma was a very sweet lady and she even gave candies to her many times. Now the old couple shifted to another place leaving this house empty for almost about a year now. Now, these guys shifted here. Dad must have helped them to get these house from the old man.' She thought. Well, the old man was sweet but he was very rude to unfamiliar people and without her father's help she can't think of another way.

Coming out of her thoughts she noticed a little boy there.

He was squatting beside the flowers touching them gently, taking their beauty in his eyes. She smiled as she suddenly made a sound to surprise him.

He suddenly looked up at her shocked but his eyes pure clean. He stood up from his place.

"Hi Damon, Good morning!" She cheerfully greeted him.

Damon just looked at her as he was in dilemma. As the long stretch of time for him to reply was getting later and later, the atmosphere became super awkward.

As noticing that the other side was waiting for his reply he said "Good morning."

"Morning, morning." Kasia replied with excitement visible in her voice.

"You are looking cute today." Kasia said finding a new topic as well as started working her sweet mouth. But as soon as the words left her mouth, the boy in front of him became as red as tomato.

He thought 'Was she making fun of me? Because I am chubby?' He wanted to be angry and believe that she was making fun of him but looking at the genuine smile on her face, he didn't know what to think. No one had called him that before.

He then said"What are you doing here?"

"I came to greet my new friend." Kasia said with that huge smile still hanging on her face. "Don't you have to go school Damon?" Kasia asked.

"Mom and Dad are getting me an admission." Damon replied, forgetting his all nervousness as he replied casually squatting there, which was a great shock for him to do because of his conservative nature.

"Why haven't you gone to school yet?" Damon asked.

"Oh..that?" Just as she was going to finish her sentence she stopped midway seeming to relise something, her face got scared as she looked at him.

"Well, Damon, I got late." She said loudly flustered.

"What to do?what to do?" She nervously started muttering this as she finally glanced at him "I have to run now, "Damon.bye!!" She said as she was ready to jump.

"Wait…."

"Thump"

"Ahhhhhhhhhh…" Kasia screamed as she fell on the mud.

Damon hearing her voice shouted from the other side of the wall "What happened to you? Are you Ok?" He said, his voice worried.

"Yes!I am ok but my school uniform …sniff..sniff.. it's all in the mud." Kasia said crying.

Damon suppressed his chuckle because he didn't know why he wanted to laugh, he said in his slow voice " It's ok that you are good."

"No, it isn't. How can I go school like this? Mom will scold me If she saw this." She said loudly her voice crying.

'And if she knew that when she had told her to go school and she had came here and was even climbing up on wall, she will kill me.' She thought.

"No, I can't let her know." Kasia said.

"Why don't you hide in my home till school ends and your mom will never know." Damon said, suggesting he was feeling guilty as she had come here to greet him and this all happened to her because of him. If she hasn't come here to greet him, this won't happen.
