Hell Month Has Yet To Begin

The days seemed to pass and no one experienced any negative traits after consuming the mushrooms. They seemed to pass the test. More and more participants began to consume the mushrooms as it helped them perform the workout with more ease and it also helped them recover faster.

It was the last day before the last day of the week. Revan was back with the group once again. "For those of you that stayed I am elated. From our starting 1000 it looks like we're now down to 500 strong participants. Honestly, more of you lasted than I expected. Today is your last day to complete the training normally... but tomorrow we will do it different."

Revan: After hearing this you may be discouraged but you must have a calm and steady heart... This first week of training that I called the first week of hell week... well... this week is the precursor to hell week and it is necessary for some of you who wouldn't be able to last the full month without making a decent base. I did this with your sparring and this week.

Kai: How will it be different and is it much harder than this week?

Revan: Yeah give me a second and I'll explain it thoroughly. So, today you will complete the workout as usual. However, tomorrow you will be tested. I will have people setup and watching each of you to make sure that all your reps are completed with proper form..... if your form is off they will not be counted. Everything must be done perfectly and it must be done within a time limit that you will be made aware of before tomorrow. If you fail to meet the requirements you will be kicked from our group, you will not receive the same amount of food as before and you will not be able to receive anymore mushrooms. Most of the extra food will be given to the remaining participants and what is left will be given to the other villagers.

Revan: Now on to your question about the difficulty being raised.... The difficulty will indeed be raised but it will be raised every week slightly and I will warn you beforehand. Now.... if any of you have been slacking and thinking you could get by with just the bare minimum I'm sorry but this is reality, I'm not here to coddle you and you should've took it seriously in the first place.

Revan signalled for everyone to get back to their feet. Revan noticed something unusual. Lucas, Rei and Kai have yet to take any shrooms..... "Get up and get ready, start running and make the most out of your last workout before tomorrow's testing day!"
