The Public Safety Devil Hunters
The Public Safety Devil Hunters are an organization of government-sanctioned Devil Hunters in Japan who function similarly to a Fire Department or Police Force. They're sent to dispatch Devils in the event of a threat to the public and are tasked with resolving devil-related incidents on a smaller scale. Though the threat level of the Devils they pursue can vary, they're generally sent after bigger threats than those working in the Private Sector, Makima was the leader of the district 4 in Japan which held a new line of Devil Hunters. Devil Hunters died every day so there was not many to go around, only a few strong ones have stayed alive this long, Himeno was one of them but she had lost so many young devil hunters that she didn't want to lose anymore, she would do anything to protect them. They were precious to her.
Makima had a plan with Denji to place him with a special powerful rowdy Fiend and a specialize Devil Hunter who was under Himeno's team. She will form a new division full of misfits who were very strong like Denji.
Counting the Private Sector Devil Hunters, there are over a thousand devil hunters in Tokyo, meaning that being a devil hunter is considered a common profession. Devil Hunters that work for the government receive a salary regularly, just like any other government employee, while Private Sector Devil Hunters turn in bounties and do not have a permanent regular salary. Other devil hunters may choose to sell devil corpses in the black market as an alternate way to make more money.
Devil Hunters will also sometimes capture devils instead of killing them, usually for the purpose of using them to form contracts.
Denji walks inside the building with Makima.
"Today you will be meeting someone very special, he will be your teammate and leader," Makima sits down on her desk and Denji is standing tall.
"Tch. I am the leader if anything! I don't need to follow anyone's order remember that!" Denji points at Makima.
"What the hell is with all the noise and who is that loudmouth brat?" Suddenly the door opens a young man with black hair that was in a ponytail opens the door and is seen smoking. His name was Aki Hayakawa and he was going to be the leader of Denji's Devil Hunter Division.
"Who the hell do you think I am!? I am not loudmouth brat!" Denji gets in Aki's face and smacks away his cigarette.
Aki angrily gritted his teeth, "Makima you let this punk in here? Why would a dumbass like him be in our building." Aki grabs Denji sit and tries to push against the wall. But Denji was way stronger than him, Denji quickly smacks Aki hand and slams his body against the wall and chokes him with one hand. "Is it okay if I kill him Makima!? I will teach him a lesson not to fuck with me!" Denji grabs his neck tighter.
"Let go of me you bastard!" Aki kicks back Denji and they are both fighting punching each other.
"That's enough Aki and Denji you two will be working together, plus there is another one joining us today, she is a fiend" Makima drinks some coffee.
"WHAT!?" Both Denji and Aki shout angrily you can tell they weren't best buds. But who knows maybe they will, once they get to each other more. Though if Aki figured out that Denji was a different kind of Devil Hunter, one that was a Devil Hybrid than he would have second thoughts as Aki hated Devils, but every human does in a way.
Suddenly the door slams open, and a girl with long pinkish blonde hair and reddish golden eyes as well as devil horns on top of her head slams the door open. "Oi! Who the fuck is that? She has huge boobs!" Denji looks over to the girl who had red devil horns on top of her head. Aki shakes head in disgust and Makima just giggles she knows that this team was going to be crazy.
Now the real fun was about to begin.
