CHAPTER: 16

                   "WHEN IT UNCOVERED"

    "start." said marry. "what?" asked vindy. "explain yourself!" shouted marry. "what do you want to hear. i already wrote in the letter and you read it. right?" told vindy. "i want a reason behind your every act." asked marry. "i don't need reasons to do things." told vindy. "what do you mean? you killed him without any reason? other's life is joke to you?!" said marry angrily. "no, of course not! they are just like me. a body filled with sins." said vindy. "huh! what was his sin?" questioned marry. "i dont want to discuss past really." mentioned vindy. "stop it!" shouted marry and hit the table in front of her. "ohhh i am afraid." said vindy smiling. "what's your problem? dont make me do things i don't want to. start explaining yourself. i know you had the reason. share it with me. i want to know." explained marry. "uhh! fine." said vindy. "so?" asked marry. "it was a revenge." said vindy. "for who?" questioned marry. "my parents." told vindy. "i want to know the complete story." said marry. "my father worked for Mr. lodge. He was the dishonest business man. my father worked for him three years. my father used to manage his accounts. then after some time he realized that every month there was the addition of millions. that was suspicious so he checked. he found out that Mr. lodge was getting all the money by taking other's lands and properties under his name by fake means, by deceiving others. he sold that all properties and adding all the money into his account. my father wanted to expose him. he discussed that with my mother and she told him to stay out of this but he was so obsessed by being a good person so, he didn't listen. he worked alot to get all the evidence. he found out the file which was going to help him revealing Mr. lodge's real face. Mr. lodge knew about this. he tried to threat him several times. that night was special for us. it was my parents anniversary. we went out to celebrate but i returned alone with my parents body." said vindy and took a heavy breath. "why is that related to adam?" questioned marry. "because the person who shooted my parents was him. we were coming back home after the dinner and he appeared there. i was so afraid that i hid cowardly. i saw him shot my parents with my own eyes and did nothing. he knew if Mr. lodge will expose then he will also lose all the money and property. he did that. so i picked the special day of his birthday and shooted him with those bullets." told vindy and tears dropped out of her eyes. "you had a option to take him down by law. why you killed him by yourself?" questioned marry. "law! my foot. which law is you taking about. that law which closed this case by saying that my parents shoot each other in a fight. Mr. lodge had the power over all the law. he covered up everything. he saved his son and i was just watching that on one side." said vindy. "so that's all?" asked marry. "you need something more?" counter questioned vindy. "that's okay but except all this, you did the wrong thing and you will have your punishment. i recorded it but tell all this in court. maybe your punishment will get less as you had the good reason." mentioned marry. vindy satrted staring at marry's gun in her belt. "what?" Questioned marry. vindy stood up and grabbed the gun from there. "give it back vindy. don't be childish." said marry hesitating. vindy pointed the gun at her own head. "i have completed my role here. i have nothing left. i dont have any family. i don't have a husband either and my friend doesn't want to talk to me. i took my revenge. i have completed everything. there's nothing holding me back." said vindy. "please vindy. lisa also loved you. she is just shocked and angry right now. she will get better and come back to you. you have her. complete your punishment here and then start your new life after that." explained marry. "hah! i don't want to include in her life anymore. i will make it worst. so it's better this way. tell her that i will miss her." said vindy and pulled the trigger. "Nooo!" shouted marry. vindy fell down with open eyes and bleeding head. everybody ran inside. "what happened?" questioned officer john. marry was quite. officer john came in and saw the body. "oh no!" said officer john and comforted marry.

       after a day. marry went to lisa's house. "how are you holding up?" asked marry to lisa. "i am okay!" said lisa. "i wanted to tell you something." said marry. "what?" Questioned lisa. "vindy...!" marry said and hesitated. "tell me about it. please marry." asked lisa. "she killed herself. she shoot herself in the head. today is her memorial. come and see her last time." told marry. "that can't be true. tell me you are joking. Nooo!" shouted lisa crying. "it's okay!" comforted marry by putting her hand over lisa's shoulder.
