CHAPTER: 12

                         "THE ARREST"

     leny was at market to brought things for lisa. marry arrived there. "hello Mr. leny lodge you are under arrest for the murder case of adam lodge." said marry "what? how could you? ....he was my brother." leny hesitated. "we have evidence and Veronica confessed." mentioned marry. "that crazy lady" said leny. officer john put handcuffs on leny and took him to the police station.

      leny was sitting in the investigation room. marry went in. "hmmm so let's start! it's now your time to confess" asked marry. "Veronica told you everything so why are you asking me?" said leny. "you have to continue the story from where she left in the car...so please continue!" said marry in attitude. "ehm that's the whole story. nothing more happened after that" said leny. "really adam was alive when you both took him to that house. who killed him?" questioned marry. "ohhh yeah after that he got killed. such a sad thing." said leny laughing. "shut up! confess or i know a way that can make it faster." said marry angrily. "ohhhh your face is turning red. it's not good for your beauty." said leny smiling. marry punched him hard. "wow you are strong. ohh it's bleeding." said leny touching his face. "i am giving you one day to decide if you are willing to tell me everything or i know lisa would love to ask you everything by herself." threatened marry. "dont drag her into this. she has nothing to do with any of this." mentioned leny. "yeah i also dont want to but i can play this as a card. right? tell me your decision by tomorrow." said marry and left the room. leny was staring her angrily.

      next morning. vindy woke up and came to lisa's room. "you awake? today is your appointment with doctor. lets have breakfast and go" said vindy. "i ...dont ...want... to ...go." lisa said steadily. "listen you need to go there for better treatment. see you already talking and you moved your feet yesterday. these are the good signs." explained vindy. lisa stayed quiet. door bell rang. vindy walked to the door and opened it. it was a parcel. she came inside the lisa's room back and opened it. "so it's the end!" said vindy sadly. "what...is...it?" asked lisa lying there. "billy divorced me. these are the divorce papers." told vindy. lisa tried to move her finger. vindy held her hand . "i know what are you thinking but i am okay! dont worry. let's get dress up and go to hospital. after that i will take you mall, you will get fresh." mentioned vindy.

      it was 7 in the evening. marry came back to leny. "are you ready?"questioned marry. "ok i will tell you" said leny and took a long breath. "so start! i am going to record it." mentioned marry. "after Veronica left i waited outside for half an hour for the boss." said leny when marry interrupt. "who boss?" questioned marry. "i dont know. i never saw the face or heard the voice. i just got message from that person secretary about adam. i helped and Veronica too." said leny. "why that boss killed adam?" asked marry. "i dont know that honestly." mentioned leny. "okay then continue your story." said marry. "after waiting, the black car came. one person came out in black hood with covered face holding an umbrella. he or she walked into the house. i was just standing outside. then i got a call to go back to my house and my job was done. i started the car when i heard the gun shot twice. but i drove away." told leny. "who called you that time?" asked marry. "the secretary" said leny. "do you know that secretary person?" questioned marry. "no, i dont!" said leny. "i dont believe you. you heard the voice and i think you know that person but hiding it and Veronica's too. because that person can bring me to the boss only." asked marry. "i dont know what are you saying..!" said leny hesitating. "fine but you will soon." told marry and left.

     vindy took lisa to the the mall where she saw Michael. "we always meet like this, surprisingly!" said Michael to vindy. "i am just here for lisa. i wanted to spend my all time with her." mentioned vindy. lisa sitting on the wheel chair passed a smile to Michael. "great! she needs your attention." said Michael. "hmm i should go now. nice to see you, bye" greeted vindy.

      next day marry was eating her breakfast in her house when door bell rang. marry opened the door. "come with me." said officer john standing on the door. "where?" ssked marry and started yawning. "it's a surprise!" told officer john. "i cant go. i am going to station. i need to talk to leny." refused marry. "i am not listening. just come." said officer john and pulled her hand. they sat in the car. "atleast tell me where are we going?" questioned marry. "wait for ten minutes and you will know." said officer john. few minutes later they reached. both got out the car and marry was surprised soo much to saw a surprise. "how did you do this?" questioned marry surprised. "we rebuild your office and now it's more pretty than before." said officer john and passed a smile. "OMG! thank you. i don't have words to describe my emotions right now." marry said happily. "welcome madam!" said officer john. "you are a great person john. what you did for me is amazing. tell me what can i do for you in return?" asked marry. "well just say yes." said officer john. "i told you before that's not possible. i still love my husband even though i know he will never come back." said marry. "he didn't deserve you. he left you like a coward and you are wasting your life on him. i like you alot. i want you be happy." mentioned officer john. "well i will consider thinking about it." said marry and passed a smile. "i hope to get a positive response. okay come on i will drop you to the station." said officer john and they both left on the car.
