Dark room

April woke up at the sound of steps, surely the guards were here. She stood up and moved as quietly as she can through the darkness with the fire lamp provided little light. The chains weren't much of a help they made a lot of noise while she was moving, but she couldn't do anything about it. She slowly made her way to the small hole that was on the door where the guards saw what she was doing. On the other side of the door she saw two guards dragging a boy in chains. The boy looked familiar, 'wasn't he one of the troublemakers' April thought look at him.

His eyes were shut, but he still had his handsome features. His black vibrate in his pale skin and red lips. He looked about her age. Of course this wasn't the first time she had seen him since he'll be here multiple times. But it was still a surprise to find him getting in trouble this early.

As she was watching where they were taking him or more like dragging him. Then a face appeared in the hole startling her.

"Oh did I scare you?" Said the guard opening the door and entering.

This must have been an opportunity for April to escape, but she was rapped in chains that were connected to the wall which made it impossible to escape.

"I know I have been saying this a lot, but you know if you weren't a freak there would have been a lot of boys falling for those pretty eyes and pretty face." The guard said with a smirk on his face and reaching out to hold April's face.

"I would have met a thousand pretty boys if I was free," April said spitting at the guard and turning her face away from him.

"You, know I was in good mood, but you sure know how to get in my nerve don't you? I see no breakfast for you. I would gladly punish you in front of all the freaks out there." said the guard with a disgusting grin on his face, looking forward to punishing April in front of all the other people. Which would have been her first time seeing other people than guards, but she had been punished so many times before she couldn't bear it anymore.

April didn't say anything and she wouldn't meet the guards' eyes. The guard then went to the door leaving. April sighed and look at the door like she had for a long time. She wished she could go outside feel the breeze of the wind on her skin and tangling her hair. The sun hitting her face and looking up at the beautiful night sky with stars glowing. Her wishes just made her feel more hopeless and lonely. She was alone in this dark room without anyone. She did, however, remember a time when her eyes met with those beautiful ocean green eyes that gave her hope in times like this.

A door open and then closed. April new they have put the boy in one of the prisons. Unlike her prison, those were like cages with a full view of what the guards were doing. While her prison had a small hole that food will come in and out.

April listened into the guard's conversation. They were talking about the boy bursting into power in front of everyone. Idiot April thought. They also said he had been there for other reasons like playing tricks, trying to escape, hurting the guards, and bursting with power. 'He is one of the bad boys' April thought.

She didn't really pay attention that much to the conversation until one the guards said, "Maybe we should put him with that crazy girl at least for a week don't you think? That will tell him not to mess with us. Plus, I think the girl wouldn't go easy on him you know how violent she is."

"Yeah you're right to let's do that tomorrow and see how it goes." said the other one.

Later that night April couldn't sleep that well thinking of the boy who was going to be in the same room as her. 'don't they know how to treat a lady, because putting a boy in a room with a girl wasn't operate at least that's what one of the priests did when she was small.' she thought.

When she finally fell asleep her dream was like a riddle of the past. 'April was a small kid again look at a boy with light brown hair, light fair skin, and of course those ocean green eyes. He was smiling at April with so much happiness that it seem he was free and not surrounded in a place by guards.

"April one day we will get out of here you'll see. We just need to have plan and hope." He said still smiling, which made April blush a little.

The scene change with her running behind him and others. She made a tree so tall to help them escape all of them climbed. April new she wouldn't make it and she look at the boy with ocean green eyes knowing he new too.

"I'll come back for you I promise. And I never break a promise. One of these days you'll see!" He said look into her eyes. And before she new it he was hissing her lips. April's first kiss. And he went away.

The guards catch up and got her by the wrist she looked back and saw that he was gone. Then the scene changed again. Now she was in a church with priest, she was reading a book while they were cleaning up for the arrival of the queen. April wasn't allowed to be in the ceremony like the other kids. She always asked why, by got no answer. A thought she couldn't be in it she always found new ways to sneak and peak a look at the queen. She went to her hiding place waiting for the bells to ring.

Some kids were already singing indicating that the queen had arrived. She was gorgeous with all her jewelry and big gown.

She looked like she came out of a fairytale. Are all the queen this beautiful or is it just her? She would ask herself.'

April felt someone poking her right cheek she slowly open her eyes. She saw a boy, for second she thought she was still dreaming about the boy in her dreams, but as her vision became clear she saw dark black hair instead of light brown fair hair. She knew she wasn't dreaming now.
