Chapter Eleven

Cara.

"Cara." She hears someone call and immediately she knows who that voice belongs to, she begins to walk fast.

"Cara." The voice calls again and she walks even faster.

Suddenly she feels herself being slammed on the wall. "Cara." Jennie breathes panting heavily.

"Thought you were ignoring me." Cara says her lips tugged up in a frown.

"I missed you." Jennie breathes into her hair and she feels her heart do a little back flip.

There she goes confusing her.

Cara pushes her away and folds her arms putting a little distance between them. Jennie chuckles at this, there's her little girl.

"I just want to talk Cara, give me a chance to talk to you." She pleads.

"You have five minutes." Cara informs her looking down at her watch, "your time starts now."

"Come over would you? I'll be home alone this evening and I want you to come over."

Cara bites on her lips knowing she can't resist this one. She was mad at her yes but the thought of being alone with her in one room just made the whole anger disappear.

"What time?" She asks and Jennie smiles.

"Five."

"See you by five." She intentionally bumps into Her with her shoulders and walks off.

"Left, right." Jennie's lips tug up in a smirk as she walks off swaying her lips left and right.

Cara stands in front of Jennie's house, takes in a deep breath and hits the door bell.

Second later the door flings open and Jennie is standing there in a black mini dress. Cara has to admit, she looks sexy but she doesn't voice that out.

She walks in with a huff and Jennie laughs.

She finds her way to the living room and sits on the couch crossing her legs.

Jennie sits next to her, "what would you like me to offer you?"

"Nothing." Cara shakes her head.

Jennie observes her for a while and says. "Now why would you come here if you were still mad at me?" Because Cara obviously looks mad and is keeping her distance.

"We need to talk." She turns to face Jennie.

"About?" Jennie raises a brow.

"Us." She says.

Us the word rings in Jennie's brain. She doesn't reply to that and waits for her to continue.

"I like you." Cara blurts out.

"What?" Jennie asks unsure if she heard the right thing.

Cara doesn't repeat herself instead she goes on to say. "The other day you asked me what exactly I was about. If I was mad about the fact that you ignored my text, or mad that I saw you making out with a girl. It was both. I was mad about both, but it was seeing you on top of that girl that got to me more." She confesses, "I've been doing a lot of thinking, and I realized I like you."

Jennie goes quiet for minutes unsure of what to say.

Cara stares at her desperately praying for her to say four words. I like you too.

She opens her mouth to talk, "I'm sorry Cara. But I don't like you."

Cara's face falls and the tears threaten to spill, again what was she expecting?
