ch. 3 Compensation and my new guardian.

"Yeah, sure we can do that. That brings us to the topic of your powers". He looked at his colleague fiddling on her phone while giggling.

She noticed us staring at her and asked, " What?."

Death guy is fuming, "Can you focus?! This guy's compensation. Darn it!!. It will be coming from you. I already gave the pass to the other world with memories intact on behalf of the company. Now for his cheat!!"

"Why do you want a cheat? Life's an adventure. Overcoming hardships through your sheer strength will make living worthwhile." She preaches while waving her hands wide open with a smiling face that does not go match with her EMO vibe.

😌"...hmmmm... can I call a lawyer ?". I blankly asked her manager, who was shaking with rage.

" Woah!! Now no calling those gits. Ok, fine, I'll see what can you take to that world that's in line of taming." She fiddled her phone and scrolled through it.

I stare at them wanting to ask, but the Death guy explained with another deep sigh, "She's looking for system or cheats available online. We modernized a while back. Now all transactions are done via death-phone. It's just… We didn't foresee that the younger ones were able to hack it to the internet and learn about Social Media and the likes, leading to our version of Gen-Zs".

I nodded, " Must be a pain…" I sympathize.

" Ok, I filtered the inventory, aaaand voilà!" She scrolls up passing her phone and a screen appears as a projection like a PowerPoint presentation.

There's just 3 on the list.

1. Small world-low grade. Can house flora and fauna on a small planet the size of the earths moon. Can house diety level creatures. It is in a small marble. Bound to the user's spirit root. *note this cheat might change(for good or bad) adapting to the world's will.

2. Beast bag. Can store beasts dead or alive. Size Infinite. Beasts will enter a state of suspended animation until taken out. Beast bag is bound to the user's body. *note this cheat might change(for good or bad) adapting to the world's will.

3. Beast space. Will be integrated into the users' mindscape. Currently, A small plane with a Spring of Purity in the middle. Can contract 4 legendary level beast(max); however, it only allows the user to use those contracts on NONE magical creatures. Once a contractual beast is present, a suitable habitat for said beast will be added. *Not affected by the world's will, but user is advised to choose the 4 beast wisely.

"Hmmmm... that's... hmmmm. Is anyone of those enough of a compensation for her offense?" I asked the Death guy knowing he is still pissed at the EMO girl.

Luckily, he catches my drift and suggested, "A bit lacking, even with the best of the three. Maybe add in an appraisal skill and we can call it even."

"Fine!" She gritted her teeth as another scroll to her phone and another projection appeared.

EYE OF SIRI. Able to appraise any object or being. * note it might be altered by world's will.

I nodded and said" I choose the Beast space with the Spring of Purity."

"Ok done, so all that's left is to send you to your guardian". Death guy said with a clap of his hands.

A paper with what i can read from WORLD GUARDIANS.

"Ugh paper. How ancient ." Complained the emo girl.

We looked at her again with contempt.

"I'm not being reborn or end up in an orphanage?" I asked with a one raised brow.

"The place you're going is a bit unique. Though I say that it is the wizardry world, it's more appropriate to call it World of Urban Magic".. He paused and continued, " You're anchored will still be Harry's Life in Hogwarts and the conclusions of the story. With your interference, if you will it, needs to have a conclusion. Meaning, the fulfillment of the prophecy between Voldemort and Harry Potter. You might move to other parts of the world w/in the said timeline, but you will be pulled back into their conflict. You can opt out to become a wallflower in the story and let it pass through but do note that your existence will/had already caused some changes. So might as well guide it to your preferred ending."

He let me take a moment to digest what he said, and continue. "Harry's story is just a small part of the world's history. There are other Schools of Magic, other magic communities and the likes. Some you might even know of. So we will be assigning you to a guardian, specifically a powerful seer, someone who sees the future, who can advise you on the changes you make or other world conflicts that you might stumble into w/c it weren't related to Harry."

*DING!* an elevator appears. Its doors open and a little old lady with dark sunglasses came out.

"What the why is she here!!" I'm shocked.

I'm pretty sure it's her.. BETTY WHITE.!
