"Live Life To The Fullest And Focus On The Positive."

Anny was seated among her friends in karaoke room. She was immersed in the fun that she didn't notice her phone ringing until her friend Yubin knocked her out of her fun world. "Hey Anny, your phone's ringing." She whined and took the phone with her out of the room.

She glanced at the screen before attending the call. "Mom" She was confused to know her mom calling now. "Hello Eomma." "Oh sweety." She heard her mom screech. She was forced to keep a distance between her ear and the phone wincing. "Sweety, how have you been lately?" "Eomma, what is it now?" She caught her mom's trick. "Sweety...." Her mom hesitated.

"Yes?" She sighed waiting for her mom to complete. "You see, your dad has a surprise for you." She spoke softly. "And what is that surprise mom?" She rubbed her temples. "I can only tell you once you reach here tomorrow." "Mom, I can't. I have to collect my certificate from the college tomorrow."

"How about the day after tomorrow?" Her mom asked patiently. "Mom, I can't come there this week." She abruptly spoke. She heard a shuffling noise from the other side. "Anny, this is your father." A deep rough voice spoke. It sent chills to her spine and made her stand straight. "Yes Dad." "You are coming here tomorrow. About your certificates I will collect them. I need your presence tomorrow in the house." His stern voice being recorded in her brain. "Yes Dad." "Okay, Have a good night dear." The other line hung.

She whined out in the corridor, "Whyyyy!!!" Passers in the corridor gave a weird look and continued their programme. She kneeled on her knees.

She couldn't believe she agreed with her father again. She hated it. In her family it was always, "Yes father/Dad." No one in her family ever denied or disagreed with her dad.

She lazily walked back to the karaoke room to pack her things. The music was loud, a part of her wanted to continue the fun while the other didn't want to. Her friend Yoona, saw her moodiness "What happened Anny?" "Nothing in particular. Just have to meet my family." She assured her friend. "I am leaving now. Okay." She said as she put on her bag. "Okay sure."

She strolled the streets with few shops giving her company. She couldn't restrain herself from thinking what matter does her dad want to discuss about. She thought of various reason why her parents would call her as soon as she finished her studies. "Will it be that my brothers' marriage?" she pouted taking it as a possibility. "Or will it be that I will get a job as in the same company as dad's? After all they said it is a surprise."

She narrowed her eyes, "Never in heaven it will be possible. Dad will never employ me in his company." "After all he didn't give job to his sons, there are no possibilities of me getting in there." She scoffed as she reached her front door.

Entering her house, she made herself comfortable on her bed. "Put away these thoughts. Anyways I am going to know it once I reach there." She gave up. Little did she know that it would lead to her marriage before closing her eyes.
