Seventy Eight

I asked her what had happened, but then remembered that she couldn't speak. I turned to find land, and I felt her tugging at my shirt. I turned back to her and she pointed at a small boat with people in it. I immediately jumped into the water and swam towards them, and I found out that two of them were badly injured. I looked to the girl, and then turned to the two men and healed them with magic.

One of them yelled "witch,"and he immediately got knocked on the head by an older sailor, who then apologized to me. I pointed them to land and had them row towards it as I tried to find more survivors. I swam around and found a total of three more sailors, and had the girl, in her wolf form, carry them on her back to shore. The sailors were a bit apprehensive about her, but I assured them that she wasn't dangerous.

When we were all on land, we made a campfire on the beach and that's where I asked them what had happened. They told me that they saw a giant beam of light hit something into the water, and then they got hit with a canon. As they were preparing to retaliate, they were told that Elizabeth had surrendered. They prepared to move their ship towards the enemy, but they got hit with another cannonball and began sinking. They got into the only escape boat left.

The rest of the ships were untouched, and instructed to go to Pasiphae. Once they got close to the Pasiphaen ships, they were boarded by soldiers and everyone on board was taken to below the deck. That was about five hours prior, so they were probably close to the port town of Rhea by that time.

As we were talking, we heard a stirring behind us, and we turned armed and ready to fight only to see Nathaniel.
