Chapter: Nuke plan

That's all I could remember before all went to shit. I was with our spartan family going to Chi Ceti 4. When the ship commonwealth began its fight against a Covenant light cruiser. The one where Sam should died. It was during our infiltration that I finally let my powers out against the covenant.

Location: (Classified) Oni Damascus lab.

Simple enough, the armor felt like a second layer of skin. Feeling is so weird after having it on. Such a surreal moment I find myself. I hear Halsey's voice talking to the captain of the commonwealth.

{Captain Wallace on Audio call} "Commonwealth to Doctor Halsey." I wonder what's the situation with the covenant.

"I'm here captain" Halsey responding urgently due to the situation at hand.

"The covenant ship is moving; they'll be on us in like 10 minutes." There's a pause, as if the captain choosing if he should say it. "I'm sorry doctor it looks as if you're on your own" Wallace saying those last words with a guilty tone.

John and I walk towards Halsey. With john Speaking first. "Doctor Halsey let us take a shot. Were the best possible option. Your only option! Blue team is ready, and you know it." I'm going to save sam No matter what. Even if I had use my powers. So be it.

"Doc, I second John decision. We are soldiers meant to protect Humanity. Let us test ourselves in this endeavor." That and with john asking if we could go fight. Made her realize its time for the Spartans to begin fighting against this foe that the public doesn't really know yet. Due to the information being kept low profile and not to alarm the public.

"Godspeed, blue team." With that we started preparing ourselves for this battle.

"I'm just saying, you could have volunteered red team instead." Sam tells john as I give out a small laugh in the back of the pelican.

"You want me to pull over let you out right here??" he responds back to Sam's commentary.

"As Chief Mendez would say, 'It's a long walk home'" Kelly gives her own comment to Sam. To which Sam gives a small chuckle.

"Look, you know I trust you and everything. But how are we supposed to take on a covenant ship in a pelican? Drown them in our blood?" John puts the pelican on autopilot to speak to the team in back of the pelican.

"I was thinking the Commonwealth's pelicans are carrying nukes." Hey wait I should be saying that im the bomb guy.

Nukes won't even scratch." Fred responds to john idea. Of course, not it has to be from the inside.

Both Kelly and I respond. "No." We look at each other.

"It has to be from the inside. With a ship that big it has to have a reactor near the center. We have seen their beam glassing harvest remember." I tell them while looking for the nuke in the pelican. Found it and I look at john for confirmation.

He nods at me and I take the hand-held nuke. "We can't beat them with brute force remember. Scalpels, surgical precision. Were small enough they won't see us coming… I hope. Gear up" I'm about to commit a war crime with chief. Let's do some crusading.

"Hey John. Kaboom?" as I put the nuke on a magnet on the back of my waist.

"Yes Chris, kaboom." He sees me grab M55C Enhanced Battle Rifle semi-automatic and a Custom Angel Arm Special 33 with .50 saber rounds. (Superior arm babel eagle rabat) Made by yours truly. Right between a .50 Beowulf and .50 bmg bullet.

"Hey Chris. Do you mind praying for us? Since you're the most religionist out all the Spartans." Made me look a little surprised at Sam.

"Tried to keep under wraps about that part of myself but oh well. Que Dios nos bendiga en esta situación y vengamos para atrás sin ningún muerto. Con todo la fuerza de dios y la sangre de Jesucristo Amen." I finish my prayer and it makes me think about this life I was born into.

While I was thinking and the rest of blue team was getting ready. We all didn't notice a white shield cross mark on my forearm. [Galahad shield from fate. Time to snap back to reality oh there goes gravity.]

"You heard this plan? And were still doing it?" Of course, Sam gets the chills this is where he's going die.

"I think it's a great plan. I seriously love this plan!" That's the spirit Kelly let's do it.

"I'm on board I love this plan." Huh Fred going to be added to the war crime buddy to the list.

"I love it too." Of course, Linda the sniper like this plan.

"You know what I smell. That's the smell of us causing a nuclear explosion. I'm so excited I can't contain myself." I wanna go create Oppenheimer"

All lights green. Let's go blue team" John tells us as we jump off the pelican. I'm flying in space lets go.
