ECLIPSE'S POV

"Hi, I'm Arielle as you already know. I'm Jesse's cousin.", The girl, Arielle introduced herself to us. "I'm Eclipse Fallows and this is my best friend, Raine Winston." "You girls have nice names...Eclipse and Raine. They go hand-in-hand", Arielle complimented us. "Thanks", Raine and I said in unison. "Alright, you must be hungry, come with me". We followed Arielle through a couple of hallways that had many twists and turns and I didn't forget to mark all these areas in my head for my escape plan. These people won't let me go for sure, so I have to go without their permission. I just have to wait for the right time. We finally got to a huge kitchen. It was easily the size of 12 shacks in Lucky Springs.

I saw a lot of things that are more expensive than the ones at Elora. There was a huge walk-in fridge, a pantry containing a lot of food stuff. There was a small dining table with 6 chairs in the far corner of the kitchen. There was a counter made of crystal black marble. The ground underneath the counter was made of glass such that I could see the fishes from the lake swimming. "Wow, this mansion is extravagant", Raine said in wonder. Arielle giggled and said, "Yeah, this type of mansion can't be seen anywhere else in Lucky Springs. It was built 100 centuries ago by a foreign architect, he was from the city. The mansions of other creatures like the vampires and wolves are also nice, but not as extravagant as this one." Raine and I nodded in understanding. Arielle instructed us to sit on the chairs at the dining table much to our dismay. We wanted to help her in making food for us but she said our hands are dirty which was true. She didn't say it like she was insulting us, which made me like her even more.

I realized that everyone here was clean. I guess they could afford the luxury of bathing everyday and wearing new clothes and applying deodorant. Back in Lucky Springs, except of course, in Elora, the people couldn't afford all these things. We watched as Arielle cooked meat, fish, and other things for us. Suddenly a deep male voice rang from the door, "Where's Jesse?". Arielle turned her head to the direction of the voice and answered, "He stepped out to handle some important matters". Raine and I couldn't stop staring at the handsome male. He was tall, muscular, had dark brown curly long hair, stormy gray eyes, thin pink lips, straight narrow nose and pale white skin. He looked at me with those mysterious gray eyes and I couldn't help but shrink back in fear. His eyes were cold, aloof and dangerous.

"Alex, stop scaring her", Arielle said to the guy named Alex. He smirked, his sharp canines coming out to play. "Am I scaring you?", he asked while looking at me and I furiously shook my head out of fear. "Alex, Jesse will skin you alive if he finds out that you're scaring his mate", Arielle warned. "But I'm not doing anything", Alex argued. "Seems you've forgotten that your aloof and cold look scares people", Arielle said to which Alex ignored. He walked up to me with steady steps. Raine and I stood up out of respect. I had to crane my neck to look at him. He glanced at Raine who was fidgeting and looked back at me. I could practically feel cold air emitting from him.

"What's your name?", He asked. "M-my name... Ec-Eclipse F-Fallows", I stuttered out of fear. He looked at Raine who immediately answered him without waiting to be asked, "Raine Winston". Wow, she sounded braver than me. The guy, Alex decided to hang with us. He walked over to the chair beside Raine and sat down, looking like a king. "Sit", he ordered and immediately, Raine and I scampered to our seats. I looked at him and looked back at Arielle who sighed and said, "Girls, He's Alexander Draven, Jesse's younger brother." Raine and I nodded. 'So he's Jesse's brother. That explains the dangerous look in his eyes which matches the one in Jesse's eyes', I thought to myself.
