ALEXANDER DRAVEN
"How did you get here?", Alex asked Eclipse. "I-I well w-we came here looking for for answers", She stuttered. "What kind of answers?", Alex probed. Eclipse took a deep breath and closed her eyes before explaining the dreams she had , the whistling sounds she heard, the voices she heard, entering the forest and not being able to get out, the supernatural creatures that attacked her, Jesse saving her, and bringing her here to the troop house. "Are you that scared of me that you can't talk to me without closing your eyes?", Alex asked Eclipse with a smirk. Eclipse's eyes flew wide open. She saw Alex smirking and lifted her eyes to meet with his thinking that she could do it but immediately their eyes met, hers became wide as saucers and she looked away.
"I think you're going to be my plaything, you're so fun to toy with", Alex said still smirking at Eclipse who had her eyes lowered. Raine tried to prove that she was brave and said, "Who do you think you are to make my friend feel uncomfortable. If you must know, although you're extremely handsome and sexy, you're scary as well and what's with this cold air emitting from your body?". Alex laughed at Raine's naivety and foolishness. Raine and Eclipse were scared out of their wits and looked at Arielle who was shaking her head at Raine, signalling her to stop. Raine gulped and realized that she had just dug a hole for herself. Alex looked at Raine and said, "I am Alexander Draven, the strongest Ice gorilla shifter in existence. Ruler of the North East to South East of the forbidden forest. Now, should I show you what I'm capable of?. I honestly don't like it when people other than my brother challenge me, it gets me really angry."
The air around the kitchen became considerably colder and the color of Alexander's eyes was shifting from gray to icy blue which didn't escape the eyes of Arielle, Raine and Eclipse. Eclipse knew that Raine had angered Alexander by indirectly challenging him. "A-Alex...", Eclipse started only to be interrupted by him, "Alexander, don't call me Alex." "I-I'm sorry. Alexander, p-please forgive Raine, sh-she didn't know that her w-words would of-fend you", Eclipse begged the Ice King sitting beside her. Alexander moved his eyes back to Eclipse and smirked before saying, "If you say so. I forgive that feisty princess over there". Raine turned red after Alex called her princess. Alex noticed it and laughed, his voice as deep as Jesse's voice but huskier than Jesse's voice.
"Arielle, when Jesse returns let me know", Alex said to Arielle who nodded her head and sighed in relief when he left. The temperature in the kitchen became normal again when he left. "Why was the kitchen cold when Alexander was here but when Jesse is around the temperature is normal?", Raine asked. "You're observant, that's good. Jesse is a flame gorilla while Alex is an ice gorilla. Jesse can control his flame abilities and Alexander can't control his ice abilities, that's why", Arielle answered Raine's question. "Why can't Alexander control his abilities, is he broken or something?", Raine asked again. Arielle chuckled and said "You need to keep your bad and mocking comments about him to yourself because he'll make your life hell if he hears it. You slightly angered him earlier, trust me, you don't want to see him mad.", Raine shivered after hearing Arielle's warning and thought that this Alexander guy must be a true beast. "Anyways, He can control his abilities upto a certain point which is why you, Eclipse and I, and the entire mansion have not turned to ice Popsicles yet. Alexander could freeze us all with just his appearance and only Jesse can thaw the ice and frost he emits. He has learnt to control his abilities and is still learning. That's why Jesse and Alexander cannot exist without each other. Alexander needs Jesse to melt his ice and Jesse needs Alexander to Cool his flames", Arielle explained. Hearing about the abilities of these two beasts, Raine and Eclipse couldn't help but rethink and reconsider changing the way they speak to them, especially Raine. Surely they didn't want to be burned or frozen. Arielle brought food for the girls. The food consisted of toast, roasted beef and chilled milk. The girls ate to their satisfaction before helping Arielle to clean up and followed her to another bedroom in the south wing of the mansion.
