The Abilities Of The Aquilla Troop

The ring was large enough for people to move around freely. The Mighouls wasted no time and went in for the kill. Although they were dangerous, their IQ level was very low. They had no intelligence and just wanted to eat flesh. The first mighoul went to attack the Ice shifter who stomped his foot on the ground and raised a pillar of ice. The pillar continued moving forward until it hit the mighoul from underneath and knocked it back a few feet.

The other mighoul ran towards the flame shifter. He opened the palm of his hands and a whip wrapped with fire appeared. The whip looked to be alive as it moved like a snake. He used the whip to hit the mighoul and a loud whip sound was heard. The mighoul screamed as the fire burnt it. The flame shifter threw the whip towards the mighoul and it wrapped itself around it and squeezed tight. The whip continued to tighten around the mighoul until its bones started to compress and break and eventually pierced through its dead heart. It collapsed on the ground and turned to ashes.

One mighoul down, one more to go. Now the ice shifter had to protect himself against the mighoul and the flame shifter. The goal was to be the first to kill the mighoul so that you can focus on your opponent. The competition was mainly based on who can beat the mighoul first.

Seeing this, the Ice Shifter opened both of his palms, and a katana blade appeared in each palm. He raised a wall of ice to protect himself from the flame shifter, more like buying himself time so he can defeat the mighoul and focus on the shifter.

The flame shifter was melting the ice pillar at an incredible pace. Right now, many people were betting on the flame shifter to win as things didn't look bright for the Ice shifter. Raine kept cheering for the flame shifter while Eclipse studied both shifters. After her study, she figured out what was really going on. "Raine, the Ice Shifter is going to win", she said.

"Huh, have you lost your mind. The flame shifter is melting the Ice pillar quickly and the Ice shifter hasn't even defeated the mighoul yet.", Raine argued.

"You're a smart one Eclipse. Yes, the Ice Shifter will win. Raine, study the strategy of both shifters. The flame shifter is melting the ice quickly because he is using too much fire, which will make him weaker. The Ice shifter's pillar is melting quickly because he is using a thin layer of ice. When the mighoul is defeated, the Ice Shifter will be stronger than the flame shifter. It's all in the IQ. Flames are known to be hot headed and aggressive while Ices are known to be calm and collected. The flame didn't think things through", Queen Titania explained.

Now Raine could see the cracks in the flame shifter's strategy.

The mighoul ran at an incredible speed towards the ice shifter. He used his katana blade encased in a thin layer of ice to slash at the neck of the mighoul just to distract it. It screamed in pain and turned around to run away, and the ice shifter took the opportunity. With the mighoul's back against him, he pierced the katana through the back of the mighoul and it eventually pierced its heart. It collapsed and turned to ashes at the same time the pillar melted. Now it was fire vs ice.

The flame shifter created balls of fire in his hands and threw it towards the ice shifter. The ice shifter used his ice ability to create a bow and arrow and shot the ice arrow towards the fire balls. The two attacks collided and disappeared as they countered each other.

The flame shifter decided to use his hands to take down the ice shifter and that was his biggest mistake. Before he could move, his legs were frozen solid. He used his ability to try melting them but it was very slow, because he had run out of AE(Ability Energy). He realized his mistake of using too much fire earlier and knew he was done for. The ice shifter ran towards the flame shifter and punched him in the stomach with all his gorilla strength.

The chest piece the flame shifter wore was cracked and so was the ice on his legs as he flew backwards and crash landed on the ground hard. The ice shifter was declared the winner of round one.

Eclipse and Raine didn't think that their day would be this exciting. They were so happy watching such an amazing event.

A healer fairy rushed over to both shifters and started healing them. The second round began and again one flame shifter and one ice shifter as well as 2 mighouls were placed in the ring.
