Excalibur

"Where can i find him?" she asked,

"He will find you, now place the ball on this staff" the fairy said,

The girl did as told and placed the spiral on the staff, a minute later, the staff transformed into the sword called Excalibur.

She gaped "that is Excalibur" she said,

"Yes, the power is yours, Excalibur will only appear if you call it or if you are in danger" she replied,

"By the way, what's going on with the prince?" she asked,

"Well he is getting stronger which means his father will start to sense that a dragon is around and that would be bad" the fairy responded,

"So he is going to be in more danger if he returns home too" she said,

"I do not have much time left and yes, princess it is your duty to protect everyone not only him and if he willingly assists his father then you will have to kill him" the fairy replied as she disappeared.

"I cannot kill him, i just have to make sure that he does not assist his father" she said to herself as she held on to Excalibur.

The sword started to glow then it lifted her up in the air, a little while after she appeared in the dragon's realm.

"What am i doing here again?" she asked herself as a baby dragon came to her.

She smiled and rubbed him, a little while after his father came, he was one big dragon "what are you doing here mortal?" he asked,

"Great now i can communicate with all of the dragons telepathically, i do not know why i am here either" she responded,

"Hmm leave at once" he said,

"Not going to happen" she replied as Excalibur appeared before them.

Upon seeing the sword the dragon bowed to her "your highness" he said,

"You do not have to bow to me" she replied as he raised up.

"Excalibur why am i here?" she asked,

The sword started spinning and then she started floating again, then the girl saw a opening through the barrier.

"Oh no the barrier it is weakening" she said.

"If the bastard for a king finds it then it will be trouble" the dragon said,

She sighed "you are right" she replied.

The sword transformed into a staff, she grabbed it and went to the opening, she inhaled as the staff started to glow, it started to pull the barrier back together, the power was so strong that the girl was having a hard time keeping up.

After closing the barrier the girl fell to the ground, weak. The staff then transformed back to the sword. She grabbed on to it and it gave her back some of her strength.

All of the magical creatures bowed down to her for now their faith was in the princess, they hoped that she would save them all from annihilation. The princess was not confident but knew in her heart that she had to face the king some day.

A little while after she saw the sun going down, "it's late i better go back" she said,

"We hope to see you again" someone said,

When she looked closer it was a young elf boy, she smiled at the child "i will be back" she replied as his parents came for him.

"I am sorry my lady, he is just a little wanderer" his father said,

"It's fine, keep him close" she replied as she closed her eyes and Excalibur took her back to her room.

She sighed and threw herself on the bed as the sword disappeared.

A little while after her parents called her for dinner, she sat with Martin "uh.. when are you going home?" she asked,

"Why ask that all of a sudden?" he asked,

"Just curious" she said,

"Well i am thinking about returning next week or so" he replied,

"Oh can i go with you?" she asked,

Her father choked on his water "what are you crazy?" he asked,

"Hey you can talk better, sweetheart why do you want to go there?" he mother asked,

"Uh.. i want to see what it's like there" she said,

"Let me tell you what it's like, that place is like hell" her father replied,

She sighed "father, it's fine, i will be with Martin" she said,

"I do not care Charlotte, you are not going and that is final" he replied,

"I am sorry dad but i am not going to listen to you this time, i am going" she said,

"I suggest you do not disobey me" he said,

"That's enough you two, if she wants to go then there is no use in stopping her because she will find another way" her mother said,

"Thanks mom" she said,

Her mother sighed "sweetheart take care of my daughter there" her mother said to Martin,

He smiled "we will leave tomorrow and do not worry i will" he said,

"Tomorrow?" she asked,

"Yeah i was only going till next week because i was alone but now i have company is that okay?" he asked,

'Yeah tomorrow it is then" she responded,

While they were eating Martin looked at the girl sternly after they finished he followed her to her room.

"Why are you following me?" she asked,

"I was going to ask you the same" he responded,

"I do not know what you are talking about" she said,

"Sure you do, i am glad you want to go but what is the reason behind it Charlotte?" he asked,

"There is no reason behind it" she responded as she walked into her room and he walked in after her then locked the door.

She sighed "i am going to bed" she said.

He grabbed on to her hand and pushed her against the wall "think twice before lying to me are you sure there is no other reason?" he asked,

"I am sure, now if you don't mind i am going to take a bath" she said as she moved away form him, took a bath, got dressed then came out only to find him laying on her bed.
