Chapter 15: Peter

I smiled and raised my right hand to wave but suddenly someone grabbed my shoulder.

before I can protest, It quickly turned me in front of him, I didn't even see Peter's reaction.

"Francis ..." I whispered when I saw who was the person infront of me, I noticed that it turned his head slightly behind me before starting to speak

"Daniela ..."

I don’t know what reaction I have on my face right now. I didn’t expect to see it today, or ever. Last night I could hardly sleep thinking of the possibilities that the gift we saw at the front door might have come from him, but now, he is in front of me and I can no longer speak.

"we need to talk, Dan." I don't know if its tone is being informative or asking for permission. I don’t know how to react.

"what did you say?" Jill curiously asked.

I took a deep breath, not knowing what to say.

"Nothing? We don't have to talk anymore, do we ..." I'm confused.
