"Hey, wake up."

Someone was shaking her shoulder. In a distance, there was the sound of rushing water.

Angelina preyed her eyes open, only to clench them shut again.

"Goddess, stop that!" She sat up with a jerk, swatted the bright flash of the troch from her eyes

Ethan turned it off, a lopsided grin on his face "Just checking if you dropped the sass somewhere."

Angelina shot him an unenthusiastic look. The Alpha was as drenched as she was, thick waves of golden hair down for once, his wet coat lying in the shallow water around them.

"Where are we?" She wondered aloud

For as far as she could see, the expanse of an underground cave stretched out. She couldn't make out a roof. In a distance, a waterfall gurgled. She couldn't see where it originated from.

"Under the castle maybe." Ethan said, then grimaced "I'm not sure that's all though."

He looked at Angelina's hand, and she turned her own gaze towards it.
