Witch towns were real.

That was Ethan's first thought as he passed through the passage behind the apparently mundane vending machine.

He'd heard of it from a wizard his newly assembled special operations team had captured. Ethan guessed the lad was recently turned to witchcraft, seeing as he spilled out any and every information he had about it to him only after he'd taken his wand away.

The Alpha wandered inside the crookedly built town, building leaning tipsily over each other like drunken comrades.

The sky was a myriad of shades of blue and black, specked with everything but stars. Chucks of floating rocks, that he suspected were a lot bigger than they looked, bubbles that showed a different vision in each, stairs that led to moon knew what.

"What'cha looking at, lad?" A voice chuckled

The seventeen year old jumped, a cackling shadow stepped in front of him, teeth oddly sharp.
