Fear and the Curse of Sudden Mummification

After understanding the situation, Alexander, along with Leopold and Beauregard from Forest City, arrive at the foot of Eclipsire Peaks, prepared to ascend. In addition, four elders from Forest City accompany them. 

Upon seeing Alexander, astonishment fills the eyes of the elders. Two of them had witnessed Alexander's battle with Smith just the day before—a spectacle deeply etched into their memories. Now facing the man himself, they feel nothing but reverence.

At the base of Eclipsire Peaks, they're not alone. Several other groups stand there, too, including swordsmans from Shadow Wolf City and John from Boulder City. These groups gaze hesitantly at the path leading into the mountains, as if undecided.

"Let's go in," says Alexander, glancing at the pale-faced Leopold and Beauregard beside him.
