Chapter 16 - Jimin vs Yuuki

Everyone started murmuring when the instructor said that. They remembered what happened last time, how easily Jimin got defeated. Jimin remembered too but, it didn't bother him as much anymore. Instead, he smiled at Yuuki and said, "I'm glad we get to have a rematch. I've been training very hard and I think that I have a good chance this time." Jimin said confidently. Yuuki smiled back. "Interesting... well, good luck Jimin. You're gonna need it since I have a feeling I'll beat you again." She said cooly.

"We'll see about that." Jimin replied. The walked away, turned to face each other and bowed. The instructed yelled 'begin!' and they immediately stared. Yuuki had noticed Jimin had become noticeably better, his speed had improved and so had his accuracy, he also was not making as many sloppy movements and mistakes. A small smile appeared on Yuuki's face as their wooden katanas clashed repeatedly.

They had been sparring for a while now. Things were looking 50/50, sometimes Jimin gained the upper hand, sometimes it went back to Yuuki. Eventually, Yuuki still ended up beating him.

"I told you I would beat you." She says playfully, helping him up afterwards.

"Damn, I really thought I would beat you this time. I'll try harder next time." Jimin says. Yuuki was very glad to see that his face was not twisted with anger or rage, instead he seemed happy as always.

Once they had finished, Jimin decided to walk Yuuki home. They walked together but it was quite late so it was cold. Jimin noticed Yuuki shiver despite her efforts to be discreet. He instantly took his coat off and gently put it on her.

"Jimin... you know you don't have to give me your coat. I'm not that cold..." Yuuki said in protest.

"Nonsense." Said Jimin. "I told you I want to stay with you, that means I have to take care of you too. And I can't let you get cold, now can I?" He says. Yuuki sighs but doesn't object as they continue walking. They soon arrive at Yuuki's house and Yuuki turns to Jimin and smiles, giving him the coat.

"Thanks, Jimin." She said.

"No problem." He replied. They stood there in awkward silence until Jimin bit his lip and said,

"I should get going now, have a nice evening Yuuki." He then turned around but before he could start walking Yuuki hugged him tightly from behind.

"No, really... thank you. For everything." She whispered. Jimin was shocked at first but then he relaxed and they stood there for a while. He then turned around, smiling softly and he hugged her tightly in return.
