Chapter 2

"Brooke High. Here it is." announced Erika.

Brooke High. A place where people with powers can be their self. No one has to hid. People can just use there powers when ever they feel like (well kinda).

"Let's go to our dorm. I can't wait!" said Emma.

Brooke High was a big building with what look like 4 floors. There were lots of big windows, shaped like squares. The door was the size of a giant that is 20 feet tall. It had a gold color noob in the shape of a circle. The outside of the school was a maronish brick with some stone pieces. The roof was a triangle shape and had a dark gray color follow by some black. It had a little point at the very top but not sharp enough to poke through something.

There were tall trees surrounding the fields and flowers blooming everywhere you step. Brooke High was almost in the middle of nowhere but still felt safe like nothing could go wrong in there. The dorms were on the 2nd floor. The girls dorms are on the left and the boys on the right. Each dorm looked the same so no one would fight for them. Each dorm had 4 roommates and 1 bathroom.

The rooms had white/ beige walls and dark brown hardwood floors. Every room had 1 twin bed, 1 nightstand, and 1 closet. The dorms had 4 rooms inside it like an apartment but no kitchens or living rooms, just bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The girls common room was right by the dorms and had a rectangular hallway leading to it. The boys dorms where exactly like the girls but on the right side instead of the left side.

The girls common room had a reddish theme cause everything was a type of red. The couch, rug, walls, fireplace, chairs, etc. were all red. The only thing that wasn't red was some of the wall art and the desks. It had hardwood flooring in a shade on brown that looked like wheat bread and logs. The boys common room was a little bit brighter. Not everything seemed to be the same color and didn't really clash together. The couch was brown like milk chocolate.

The rug under it was a grey sort of color in the shape of a wide rectangle. They had more fun items like a pool table and a ping pong table. Not to mention there video game system. Let's just say it was way better then the girls. All the fun things the girls common room had was a coffee machine.

The school did have a surprise for the girls but it isn't done yet and probably won't be til there like 15. The school was beautiful inside. It had paintings all in the hallway from passed headmasters and mistress.

Emma and Erika walked into their dorm and lit up with so much joy. It was like getting a puppy for Christmas or seeing your child for the first time in your arms. Well that's what they thought.

"Can you believe this?", Erika said. "We are finally here!"

"I know it's going to be so much fun, especially being here with you makes it 10x better."

Erika smiled. And knew she felt the same.

"I wonder who are roommates are." Emma said looking puzzled.

With that last sentence a bang came from the room and the door busted open. Two girls came running in as excited as Emma and Erika were when they opened the door for the first time.

"Umm... hello. What is y'alls name?" said Emma looking at Erika like she knew who they were. The girls looked at them with the biggest smile they have ever seen.

"Oh hi I'm Julie!" said the girl that was slightly taller then the other girl, while waving at Emma and Erika.

Julie has dirty blonde straight hair that goes a little passed her collarbone. Her eyes were a shade of light brown like caramel. She was wearing silver glasses shaped like a orange. It had a glare on them from the lights.

"And I'm Casey!" said the girl that was shorter then Julie.

Casey has black curly hair that was tied into a high ponytail with a couple strands in front of her ear. Her hair was thicker then Julie's and was shinning in the light. Casey had light blue eyes like the ocean. Her hair color also kinda reminds Emma of coal.

"Well, I'm Emma. And this is Erika."

"Hi.", waved Erika nervously.

"Are you guys sisters?", asked Julie excited to see what the answer was.

"Yes, we are sisters-"

"Twin sisters." said Erika as she interrupts Emma.

"I can see it. Y'all do look some what alike." said Julie looking at Casey to see if she agrees.

"So y'all are fraternal twins?" asked Casey wondering if she was right or not.

"Yes. Thats correct." said Emma.

"Cool! Can y'all like read minds and stuff like that?" asked Julie.

"We can read minds but that's only because I can read minds"

"Cool!"

Everyone laughed for a good minute until Emma spoke.

"So do you want to go and explore the school a little bit before dinner?"

"Sure." said Casey as she too would like to tour the rest of the school.

"Works for me." said Julie shrugging because it wasn't like she had anything else she would want to do.

"Let's go then!" said Erika waving them to follow her.

All 4 of them went out into the hallway until they were suddenly stopped by 2 kids. One was a girl with straight black hair that went to her collarbone. Her eyes looked red and looked like she could see inside of your soul. Beside her was a smaller boy who looked like her brother. He had a smile that was as evil as can be and had the same eyes as the girl. He had the same color hair as his sister but his hair stopped at his ears.

"Well look who it is." said the evil looking girl with a smirk that you knew it was up to no good.

Emma looked over to Julie to see if she knew who they were but instead she shook her head no and was just as confused as she was.

"What do you want?" said Casey looking mad at the world with her arms crossed.

"Do you know them?" whispered Erika to Casey.

"Just follow me" she responds.

"I don't want anything. I am just here to say hi to my dear old friend." said the girl with a fake smile.

"Guys meet Raven and her younger brother Jax."

"Hello" said Emma, Erika, and Julie wondering if they should act happy or not.

"So now that you know my name, what are yours?" she said with a straight face with her arms still crossed.

"I'm Emma. That is Erika, my twin sister. And over there is Julie."

"Aww twin sisters that's so cute."

It was silent until Casey finally spoke.

"Okay, well we have to go but nice seeing you" Casey said sarcastically.

Casey left and everyone followed. Emma and Erika were still confused about the whole situation. Julie stopped for a second and spoke.

"Okay, what was that all about?"

"I used to go to school with her and let's just say we didn't get along ."

"Did you see what color her eyes were?" Julie said looking nervous.

"Yeah, they were like a reddish color." Erika said thinking what does that have to do with anything. "Why you ask?"

"Erika, you do know what people with red eyes are, right?"

Erika thought for a second and then it hit her.

"Oh my gosh, she is a vampire!" she shouted.

"Shhhh", they all shh her and looked around to see if anyone noticed. Luckily no one was paying that much attention to them but this one boy who looked and them then looked back at his friends.

"Raven isn't just a vampire."

"What do you mean?",asked Emma sounding scared and confused about the fact she could be anything more then just a vampire.

"She is a evil one. She comes from one of the most evil vampire family's in the magic world." Casey said looking scared.

Emma and Erika looked at each other scared and worried. Emma thought she was a hybrid or something with how terrified Casey looked and sound.

Suddenly the bell ranged and echo from the hallways. It sounded like a car alarm almost. Erika jumped up at the sound. Her heart was beating so fast after that.

"Uhh. It's time for dinner." said Julie disappointed cause they haven't got to explore the school like they were supposed to.

All of them headed down to the first floor to the cafeteria. A lot of students were coming down the hallways and stairs. It sounded like a hurd of elephants coming.

All 4 of the girls were walking trying not to trip. Raven then came by and elbowed Erika causing her to fall. Erika about hit her head on the stairs when someone grabbed her arm and yanked her back up right.
