Chp 22. Wedding day

Today was a very special and important day of Sunita's life, now she didn't care about her career anymore.

It was 6 am now and she had woken up for the hindu marriage ritual ( not describing ). By 2 pm she was left to rest before going to the parlour.

She thought that she didn't have enough time in all these rituals to speak her heart out to her mom before vidaii . Everyone was busy with their own respective departments given to them, no one spoke to her , Sunita thought or assumed they were were purposefully avoiding her so they don't weep and worsen Anju's health by seeing an emotional burst out of the family members with Sunita .

She was weeping without her knowledge while deep in her thought process. She couldn't cry at house so she was crying in the car, everyone was silent , no one poked their noses to stop her crying. There was still time to arrive at the parlour for makeup.

She was all dolled up in bridal attire in two hours, then they made their entry from backgate of the marriage hall for her photo shoot.

Sunita didn't get any time to talk to her mother before departure, as shooting finished the groom with a guest appeared and she was taken away for varmala ie for exchanging a garland. First, all the rituals were performed Sunita's chachi, bhabhis for Suraj and then they were asked to exchange the garland on the podium.

On the podium as Sunita started putting the garland on Suraj's neck they( Suraj's freinds ) picked him up and held him up high , next she was picked up by his two brothers who were tall but his friend was moving up and down by tricking her so she played a trick and put garland but Suraj was finding it hard because his friend's height was short but at last he did it.

Suita was taken to Anju to spend a few hours with her as few hours were left before the marriage rituals and farewell. She got very emotional and puked in his brother's handkerchief it was equal to spit so yeah it was just panick or wedding jitters for her. Both brothers enquired for her heath she replied it was emotional outcome hai.

After a few minutes she was called to the seven circle it was called sathphere or sapthapadi in sanskrit. Everything, all the rituals were performed well and auspiciously without any obstacles. Kanyadaan or the giveaway bride ritual was done and soon vidai or farewell time would arrive.

While moving to the car she was okay but once she sat down in the car she burst out into tears and started hiccuping , crying vigorously . Her uncle and aunt to soothed her by promising to take care of her and Suraj's family.

Once the car started moving Sunil tried to sooth her as brother he told her not to cry and asked Suraj to take care of her , make her stop crying lovingly . But Suraj just said what he will do , she will stop crying by herself. Shipa scolded him she told him that she's his responsibility after the marriage if he's not going to stop her who else will? Then for the showoff Suraj just gave his hanky to her. Here sunita could see her coming days , her future but she let go due to her tiredness.
