Arrival of mom, ganesh puja and geet samalen ( part 1)

Today Anju arrived from icu from the hospital just because Sunita's wedding ritual was starting. Otherwise the doctor had forbidden her to discharge but after a lot of persuasion she was discharged with a lot of do's and don'ts.

Today is the first day of the ritual where the priest will do ganesh puja and give an invitation card to god first like always. The ladies do a few rituals like 7 married ladies including Sunita will drop the grind pulses in leaf plate 7 times . Then they play with husk wheat, giving, taking with winnowing basket small and then a pestle or mortar small in size two ladies at a time together will act as grinding wheat together. And lastly the priest and the bride will invite all the gods with invitation cards, offering to them and then they fold their hands in gratitude to god.

Then after dispersing from puja they have their breakfast and retire to their respective works, ladies would gossip and men would have their own discussions , diving into their work and Sunita would just move to her room where she was busy with her thoughts , which were homed in her mind. Which couldn't removed by her, which was nagging her every second in her head.

She was annoyed as none of her friends from college had arrived, the reasons known were the finals of final year, leaving sunita who has orders to miss the finals for a foolish reason, which will give her more importance to marriage than her own career , her own life .

No one understood that, the teachers and professors bashed her with scolding and insults for not doing her finals before marriage . She was a bright student and she could make miracles happen if given a chance with encouragement. They were sad that they were helpless , they couldn't interfere or fight for her. Many of her friends told her to postpone the marriage and attend finals but they not aware how their society works , how they would kill a person with their abuse and taunts to such kinds of people , they even abandon them from their society , their gatherings and parties.

Sunita knew that so she couldn't back out from marriage , nobody knew her struggles and her war with her mind which was going on continuously.

She remenbered an small incidence during her golden period .

SUNITA POV:-

( during her golden days Sunita and Sursj spent their evenings like this .)

(Sunita in her head started talking), we spent the day watching a movie but it was an boring movie so we left in between we were about 3/4 in the movie we saw and it was soooo boring so we left it and we went for boating, yes that became our thing. Boating for an hour was a must for both of us . We used to go with our cousins but it different and we were in separate shikara.

We both were in a romantic mood so was our evening by gods grace . It was almost sunset and the sky was yellow, orange and violet, creating a beautiful new combination of scene in sky and it was so cloudy , its reflection on water was even more beautiful , the outcome of the sunset in the water was magnificent with all lightning and thunder. It created the environment more sensuous and romantic.

Suraj and Sunita started kissing each other, but suddenly it started raining heavily with thunderstorms and lightning. Our boat shikara started shaking and we got frightened and we crawled closer to each other. We were holding each other close because of the frightening thunder and lightning. In seconds we were drenched wet and we wrapped my long scarf which I wore with a suit around each other to protect the one another from catching severe cold ( Sunita in action ).

A sudden knock on door brought sunita back to the present as Anju had work to do with her.

After time again Sunita got lost in the previous incident, thinking about how she forgot that she was wearing a red scarf which would stain his shirt with all the red colour and Suraj's shirt fully turned red . After a long one hour the rain stopped but already Sunita was frozen in her place and couldn't move without help so Suraj helped her come out from the boat and made her sit on a chair and asked her to have some hot tea , which Suraj also made her drink as her hands were also frozen cold. After having some tea she started crying like hell and all were worried for her , as everyone present knew how much emotional she is. After then they went back to their houses, Suraj embraced Sunita in his hug to give her some comfort. The next day they both were teased by their families as his green shirt turned red.

But during all these incidents Sunita felt and suffered from fear of losing Suraj in life. She wondered if Suraj was also scared to lose her or not. Thinking all the time about this question she went to sit with all the cousins with the intention to ask them the very same question from Suraj by hook or crook.

SUNITA POV:-

Everything was going smooth but their thing that we call sixth sense or intuition told them that something was wrong but they didn't know what it was. After two days they didn't seeing each other, they were not going to get out of the house unless it was for the marriage, "I need to clear the tension between Suraj and I." Thought Sunita to herself.

Is there any connection between Veeran's announcement and this discomfort in my heart?

Should I share this with someone, will understand me ?

One week until the marriage, I left finals and now i m doubting this marriage? Great, now I have a headache. She left to go sleep.

2 days before the marriage Anju was admitted to hospital due to health issues. The doctor called vardhan said his freind anju would make it out alive. When Anju was getting discharged the doctor vardhan was given lots of pros and cons for her health . At last anju was also directed with a lot of suggestions. This left Sunita so shocked that she totally forgot about her intuition.

Again at evening at 5 Sunita was deep in thought, now she can't refuse to marry him because it's dangerous for her mother, she can't be told the bad news now. I have to get married to save mom's life now, there's no escape now , no time to give a second thought to it. I can use the benefit of doubt to Suraj for marrying me and if he can't say no to his parents then I will take the step for him. I will make the call that I cannot stay in this loveless marriage which is equal to the death of a person.

Sunita didn't have any idea of what she got into for entering marriage . Sunita always wished to have a fantasy of being a lovey dovey couple kind of life . Yet he did fulfill her wish to go for a ride as fiancé or husband. Also Kishore allowed her to do this.

Sunita was very happy but she didn't know the truth of her life that it was her very first and last ride with her future husband. She dreams of using bikes more than a car, any fantasy car is not equal to a bike ride.
