CHAPTER 9

"What on earth made her bring Jason here?" Said Jace to himself as he repeatedly hit his head. He lay on his bed with his eyes looking up the ceiling.

"I know Bree must be looking for me but I don't want to see her" He stood and walked out of his room to one of the guest rooms where he knew that she wouldn't search for him. Immediately he walked a few steps from the guest door towards the window, Gina walked in.

"Hey Jace" She said as she walked towards him.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I came to congragulate you," she smiled "Heard you are having twins"

"Thanks"

She walked to him and placed her hands around his neck.

"What are you doing?" Asked Jace

"I missed you" She kissed him. The moment her lips touched his, the door opened.

"Are you crazy?" He pushed her away. He moved his eyes towards the door and noticed Bree standing with her mouth wide open.

"Bree" He said while moving towards her.

She looked at the two of them and walked away.

"Don't bother" Said Gina as she held his hand back.

"What exactly is your problem?" He asked freeing his hand.

"I love you"

"Are you insane?"

"I'm gonna be your wife"

"Never"

She laughed and said "We will see about that"

He just walked out of the room in search for Bree.

"Hey, I've been looking for you everywhere. Come say hi to my friends" Said Mrs Willis.

"Later Mom"

"What's with the long face?"

"It's Bree" He sighed

Bree lay on the bed with her face on the pillow trying so hard not to cry.

"Bree" Called Jace as he walked in the room and shut the door behind him.

"I'm sorry you had to see that" He said.

"It's fine, I know I have no right too, she is going to be your wife" Said Bree

"No" He sat next to her and placed his right hand on her shoulder.

"I need to be alone. I'm sorry I fell in love with you knowing clearly that you were going to marry someone else"

"Bree, I love you and not her"

"Does it really matter?" She looked into his eyes. " You are still going to marry her"

He placed his hands on her cheecks and said "I will marry only you"

"What?"

"Yeah, I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you"

"How? Will you go against your father?"

"If i have too"

"But why did you kiss her?"

"I didn't mean too, she kissed me"

"mhhh" She looked away

"Can you please forgive me" He kissed her cheeck.

"Just this once" She said with a smile and hugged him.

The next morning, Bree woke up with a headache. She couldn't believe how crazy last night was. She had finally met with the wild Jace. All she thought of was the dancing, drinking and shouting he did.

"Babe, what's with the smile?" Asked Jace with his hands around her waist.

"Can't stop thinking of last night"

"I took some pictures, you wanna take alook?"

"Yeah, sure"

"I didnt know your family was crazy"

"I'm the humble one"

"No no no, you are worse" They both laughed.

"Ohh almost forgot Jason, he is the funniest" Said Bree.

His mood changed.

"What's wrong" She asked.

"I don't want to be late for work, I think I should get going"

"Jace, he is your brother. Maybe you guys can talk about it"

"You shouldn't worry about us"

"You should just tell her" Said Jason standing at the door.

"Don't you know what privacy is?" Asked Jace angry.

"I was just walking when I accidentally heard your conversation"

"I should go and get some breakfast" Said Jace.

"Hey, sorry" Said Bree in almost a whisper.

"He blames for the death of his wife and child" Jason said.

"Don't you dare talk about them" Shouted Jace as he pushed Jason to the wall and boxed him.

"Will you two stop already?" Yelled Mrs Willis. "When will you ever grow up, do you want me to first die before you finally get along?"

"Mom, I..."

"Shut up already. No one wished for your family to die." She said with tears rolling down her cheecks.

"Mom please, you might get sick"Said Jace holding her by the shoulders.

"Son" She turned around and placed her hands on his cheecks "You need to let the past be in the past. You are soon having twins, maybe its time you started over"

"Ok mom, I promise" He said and then led her downstairs.

"I think it's time we do it again" Said the man in black shades behind the desk.

"But boss it's just three months, don't you think it's early" Said another man standing in a blue suit.

"I have given him enough time to be happy"

"Ok Sir, I will start right away"

It's 2:00 am, Jace sat on his side of the bed reading a book when he noticed Bree turn in her sleep as if she was having a nightmare.

"Hey" He shook her and she woke up breathing heavily. "You'r Ok?" He asked.

"I had a terrible dream" She said with fear all over her face.

"It's gonna be fine" He embraced her.

"My babies" She cried "They want to kill my babies"

"Sshhh, I promise nothing will happen to them"
