Chapter 22 – Goblin market

The Battle begins

Nagisa had a wooden sword as her weapon while Miyako had a wooden spear as hers'.

Nagisa ran toward her aiming for her belly whilst Miyako used Nagisa's own momentum to deflect the attack. Nagisa lost her balance and fell onto the ground, Miyako tapped her weapon unto Nagisa's face as a sign of belittlement.

Enraged Nagisa stood up from the ground and swung her sword at her countless times without a break. Miyako dodged each and every strike of hers whilst keeping her eyes closed, insisting that her sister is so much weak for her to even to pour a drop of effort into the battle.

"Wow! S-she is amazing" Blurted out Kai.

"Hm…hehe isn't that right?"

"She isn't called number one for naught."

Kai admired Miyako's way of combat. To him her combat was much more refined than any other he had seen. He could clearly tell her hard work and effort she had put into her art. For Kai, Who uses unorthodox combat it was truly a sight of amazement.

"Tch. Tch. Tch. Nagisa~~"

"What was even that… you call that sword art… you should just QUIT."

Nagisa's sister, Miyako admitted what was on her mind without holding back. This made Nagisa even more enraged. Her temperament raised to a level which was something she had never felt through all of her life or when she fought any kind of opponent before. Her mind was deadest on kill, if it were any other opponent they would have seen the end of the day but only thing holding her back was the thought ' she is my sister'.

"She is looking down on me?"

She still kept trying to slash her but none of them landed on her sister. She kept on avoiding her strikes again and again.

"Why can't I keep up with her…?"

"….. What is it that keep us so far, so different?"

"What is it….?"

"What is the difference between me and you, Miyako!?"

"Hmm, difference between me and you….? You don't have to think about it, it is simple. Simply, because I'm me and you are you… You will always be inferior to me, little sister~~."

What Miyako said at last provoked Nagisa into using her powers. She shot bolts of lightning and ice shards at her sister without a break. Before Nagisa could think of another move or even before she could close her eyes, Miyako stood centimeters away from Nagisa.

"Wait, When Did sh—"

Miyako crouched at once, struck on Nagisa's belly with the tip of her spear and punched her again on the same spot with her elbow and once again kicked her on the same spot. This all happened in an instant neither Nagisa nor anyone on the dojo could seize what was going on. Anything at most they could see was Miyako's first strike.

All three strike put together didn't have the anticipation anyone was hoping to get out from. These punches didn't make her fly off nor break her ribs nor spit blood out her mouth. All that consecutive attacks did was make Nagisa immobile. Nagisa simply fell onto the ground unable to stand up nor move any muscles, each time she even try to flinch an excruciating pain generated from her abdomen making her stick to the ground.

"W-Why?"

"Why?"

"Why can't I beat you?"

"Why can't I at least strike once?" Cried Nagisa from last of her fight left in her.

"Because you are pathetic."

Nagisa felt ashamed as she cried and laid on the ground helpless.

"You don't even care about me, your own sister."

"You think of Kai more of your brother than you think me as your sister." Sobbed Nagisa while holding onto her stomach.

"I will surely, surely train and beat you."

"Earn everyone's respect."

"NO! ~ You will quit at once, Nagisa."

"I will… I will definitely beat you! Even if it takes years or decades or century. I will beat you!"

Something Nagisa said angered Miyako.

"You will beat me….you?"

"Only if you can make it out well that is."

Angered Miyako started to trash and beat the already fallen Nagisa senselessly. Her change of attitude and personality left all speechless.

"You will beat me…. only if you had your arms that is."

Miyako broke both of Nagisa's arm. Nagisa's cry in agony echoed through and even out of the dojo. The bone in her left arms were completely crushed after she started to trample it with enormous force. Then she once again grabbed her right arm and started to pull it with force. Her arm started to stretch and bleed. Her muscle's fibers started to tear off. Nagisa screamed in an agony and fainted.

"YAMERO! MIYAKO!!!"

Screamed the grandfather.

She heeded not to his words, she kept on pulling her sisters arm even after she fainted in hopes of pulling her arm off completely making her a cripple.

"STOP TH—"

Grandfather screamed as he stood up from his seated position in hopes of putting an end to this madness. But he was stopped mid-way. It was because of the sight he saw next. He stood with a single leg off while still half – seated in a shock, in puzzlement. Miyako flew off from the ground followed by the sound of a 'bang'.

"BANG"

With the word coming out of Kai's mouth he stood there pointing an air gun at Miyako who was flown away from Nagisa by his soundwaves. Miyako confused, she slowly stood up.
