REUNION

The celestial realm; an abode of eternal rest, earned by those who lived virtuous lives. As such it was shaped to be a fantasy like paradise, filled with a multitude of different biomes. From flourishing, green pastures to infinitely deep oceans; that housed all forms of mythical beasts and plants. However, for the last 16 years there were none who were allowed passage into this paradise; that however changed a few days ago when the gates of perfections were opened once again to the masses.

"There is no doubt in my mind that my parents are a part of those who made it." Zephyr said confidently as he and Circuitel left the manor.

Circuitel nodded in agreement.

"Indeed, the chances are high. And I have just the trinket for the job of finding them amongst the hundreds of thousands that have arrived," he declared with unmatched pride in his intellect.

For hours they soared through the vast expanse of the heavenly realm, the landscape unfolding itself beneath them. From flourishing pastures as far as the eye could see, to infinite oceans teeming with life in all its wondrous forms. Majestic mountains pierced the sky, their snow-capped peaks glistening in the radiant light of divine energy.

It almost felt as if the entire heavenly realm consisted of one planet, but that couldn't be true.

"So, what world would they be on?" Zephyr asked impatiently.

"Oh, no there is only one world, it's not even a sphere as your familiar with, but an infinite flat plane" The angel said nonchalantly.

"Wait, so there are no stars, planets, galaxies?" Zephyr asked baffled.

"Well, there are stars for each biome."

"How come there hasn't been a single night since I got here?" I questioned him to pass the time.

"Due to the sheer size of this realm, it takes eons for them to complete a full revolution around the world from top to bottom." He responded.

"So flat earth basically."

"Yeah, pretty much."

After that there was a short-lived silence.

"It feels like we've been flying forever." Zephyr groaned; his voice tinged with impatience as they continued their search.

Circuitel nodded in agreement, his wings flapping majestically as they traversed the endless expanse of the skies.

"Indeed, time loses its meaning in this boundless realm."

Suddenly, Circuitel came to a halt, hovering mid-air as he surveyed the landscape below. Zephyr followed suit; his curiosity piqued. Below them lay a vibrant green, meadow, its grasses swaying gently in the breeze while humanoid souls wandering in it.

"So, where are we exactly?" Zephyr inquired, his gaze sweeping over the serene landscape.

"This spot is a pretty popular destination for humanoid souls upon their arrival in the celestial realm." Circuitel explained.

"It may prove to be a fruitful place to begin our search." Circuitel said as he revealed a crystal ball kept away in his pocket, its surface shimmering with divine light.

"This should help pinpoint their exact location," he explained, handing the orb to Zephyr.

"Simply focus your thoughts on those you seek, and the crystal will guide us to them."

Taking the crystal in hand, Zephyr closed his eyes, his mind filled with thoughts of his mother. With a silent wish, he released his thoughts into the item, trusting in the magic of the crystal to lead him home.

Suddenly it began to glow frantically as a blue beam of energy erupted out of it in a certain direction.

"Well, it doesn't seem like she's too far away. Only a few hundred ticks away."

"Ticks?" Zephyr repeated.

"Well, you didn't think we would use the measurement you humans invented. But for simplicities sake a tick can be compared to a thousand kilometers."

With that said they left following the beam, until they reached a small cottage nestled amidst the hills in the terrain and landing before it. Its walls, fashioned from shimmering oak logs, were perfectly built up. Its roofing was a thatched roof made from lush green grasses and its windows were as clear air itself. As Zephyr approaches, a sense of peace envelops the atmosphere, easing the burden of earthly cares from his soul. The cottage door made from sturdy wooden planks stood there waiting for Zephyrs' call.

Hesitant, he brings forth his fist and knocks on the door.

*KNOCK*

*KNOCK*

*KNOCK*

After a moment a familiar female voice erupted from the confines of the building.

"I'll be right there!" She yelled.

Then the door swung open, revealing a youthful young lady with chestnut brown hair and eyes. She looked at the first visitor she had gotten since arriving in heaven, her face blank of emotion as she asked.

"Hello, is there anything I can do for you?" She said before looking into the strangers' eyes, their emerald, green hue reminiscent of her dear Zephyr.

Then tears began to flow as Zephyr fell to his knees, weeping uncontrollably. Then she saw through the man before her and remembered the family she had left behind.

"Z-Z-Zephyr?" She said with a sorrowful tone as she too began to weep.

"Mom, I've missed you, I've missed you so much."

"Chloe what's happening? Who was at the door?" Yelled a voice from within the cottage.

He then came outside, revealing a muscular physique with a thick flowing beard and short silky raven black hair. And to top it all off was his emerald, green pair of eyes that shimmered in the daylight.

He found his wife embracing a young man with tears in her eyes.

"Henry, I'd like you to meet Zephyr, our boy."

The man stood there dumbfounded, was this really his son, the one he's heard so much about.

"My boy, my boy's really here." He said as he struggled to hold back the tears.

Without a second thought he embraced them both in an airtight hug as they found comfort in each other's presence.

Uriel stood a distance away, watching the scene unfold as a thought came across his mind.

'I see why you loved them so much. Humans truly are the most compassionate of creatures'

Sometime later the star had set, and the moon had risen in its place. Inside the cottage beams of light filter through curtain sheets, casting dappled patterns of light upon the floors. The late-night breeze itself played soft musical notes that float through the air, its melodies soothing and tranquil.

A bright flickering flame burns in the fireplace as the divine wood releases divine Qi. The three seat before it and together, they share stories and laughter, basking in the timeless joy of reunion. Memories of their earthly struggles fade away, replaced by a sense of boundless peace.

"So, how's Naomi doing? From what I hear she's a real angel to have around." Henry asked.

"Oh, well it has been a while since I got here but she should be fine."

"Yeah, how did you get here? You said you're not dead, but then how did you get into the silver city."

Zephyr had made sure to keep out the whole him being God aspect of his life, and made it seem like he was just a normal teenager, but he didn't have any explanation good enough to cover this up.

[I suggest you reveal my existence to them]

'Shut it, I do not need them worrying about my safety while in paradise'

[Then what do you plan to say]

'I'm working on that'

[Huh, yeah right]

'These updates keep giving you more and more personality which is meant to be a good thing'

[…]

[Understood I'll just give them a first-person view of your activities for the past few months]

"Wait, WHAT!!!" Surprise etched on my face.

[Commencing memory attachment]

"NO, NO, NO, NO!!!" I yelled, but to no avail.

[....complete]

[The hosts' parents have had additional memories given to them]

Then both my parents were in an unconscious state with both eyes entirely blank.

[Merely a side effect of the memory attachment process]

Then they both regained consciousness as their pupils returned.

"What the hell was that?" Henry asked.

"This can't be true." Chloe said before collapsing to the floor.

It looked like both of them were broken beyond repair mentally. However, they both embraced him in a hug and tried their best to comfort him.

"You've had to be so strong all on your own; I was never there for you and for that I am sorry." Henry said.

"Don't worry; everything will be aright from now on. We'll always support you no matter what." Chloe spoke.

[I carefully removed all memories of excessive brutality on your part]

'Huh, now this makes more sense'

"You don't need to apologize; I know you two never chose to leave. But I'll have to go back to that life soon, to fight for a world where such horrors shall never occur again."

The scene then zooms out of the cottage and unto the surreal environment, signifying the end of a perfect day.

This one was a little short, sorry about that. The next one will be extra long don't worry about that.
