Chapter 2: Plans

*Sigh*

It's a shame such a power comes with such a heavy risk. But I suppose the saying, 'Nothing comes free in the world' applies even in another world.

There's another detriment to this power as well, depending on the person viewing it.

The Quirk, One For All, carries several consciousnesses or vestiges within it.

These vestiges, while not shown to cause any harm towards Midoriya in the anime and are actually beneficial to him instead, will essentially live inside him and see everything he will ever see as well.

Now, for a regular person, this might not seem so bad. Yeah, it's just a bunch of ghosts living inside of you and watching you every second of your life, like a bunch of stalkers, nothing too creepy about that.

But for me, that's a serious problem.

I'm a transmigrator or reincarnator, meaning, I hold information regarding this world that these vestiges might eventually catch onto.

If I show that I'm aware of events that haven't even occurred yet but later do occur, then that starts to raise questions that I really do not want to answer.

Yes, I'm a part of the community that hates it when the Main Character reveals to others he's from another world in an Isekai setting. Bite me.

And who knows, there's a chance that these guys might be able to send this information to the outside world despite them being basically dead.

I know they still had some sort of connection with All Might despite no longer living inside him anymore.

And while I could write off any questions they may have as it just being a Clairvoyant Quirk I have in my possession, I'll eventually stumble somewhere down the line as my knowledge of the anime isn't perfect at all.

I know about the general direction of the story such as the Final War arc where Midoriya fought a massively enhanced Shigaraki but the little details such as when certain events occurred and every little thing in between are totally lost to me.

The only reason I even know as much as I do right now is because of the spike in popularity regarding the My Hero Academia Franchise and as a result, several people started making reels and shorts about them on YouTube.

On my side, I stopped watching the anime at Season Three because I couldn't stand crybaby Midoriya anymore.

Any knowledge beyond that is merely from the shorts I watched.

I don't even wanna think about the movies.

That's why I feel that I'll eventually be caught lacking if I go with the Clairvoyance claim. It's just that flawed.

It's much safer to just not acquire the Quirk.

But despite being aware of all these risks associated with One For All, I'm afraid I'll still have to go after it.

Mainly because of the power this Quirk provides. Power that'll make even someone like me face the consequences head on even though I know I could just decide to ignore it.

It's just that tempting.

But, I'm still gonna do what I can to mitigate these risks as much as possible. I have to put into consideration future me's well-being after all.

And to begin on said path, I've decided to still allow Izuku Midoriya to acquire One For All, using him as bait to draw All For One's attention to him instead.

While I nurse and grow my own One For All from the side.

Yep, I'll be using my own Quirk, Facsimile, to copy One For All. I know that's possible since the original Neito Monoma pulled that same stunt in the anime and successfully acquired it, but was unable to produce the same amount of power Midoriya and All Might were capable of dishing out.

This was due to him only being capable of copying the base Quirk itself-The ability to stockpile and transfer, but not the energy it had stockpiled after a 100 years.

I have no doubt that same rule applies to me as well, but unlike the original Neito Monoma, I have a way to circumvent this setback.

The original Neito Monoma could only copy four Quirks simultaneously and for a limited amount of time at that.

I? Well, I'm capable of copying quirks as well, just permanently instead.

I was only able to achieve this after thorough training on my Quirk from the moment I transmigrated into this world and realized I was in the world of My Hero Academia.

It took time but after four years, I'm now capable of not only copying four Quirks permanently but also use them simultaneously, something the original couldn't do.

I had tried to break past the four Quirk limit several times over the past few years but it seems like it's hardwired into my very DNA, nothing I did could budge it.

I had reached my limit.

It's also another reason why I'm deciding to go after One For All. The Quirk also provides a substantial boost to the users Quirk if they have one.

Bakugo's explosions became so much more powerful that it looked like he was literally shooting out atomic bombs from his hands after gaining One For All briefly.

Imagine what I could do after gaining the Quirk? The limit on the amount of Quirks I could copy may very well disappear after gaining that Quirk, or at the very least, increase drastically.

Yeah, I'm so getting a copy of that Quirk.

Anyways, back to topic, since I'm now capable of copying Quirks permanently, I'm planning on dedicating one of the slots in my Quirk to One For All, while the remaining slots will be filled with various Energy Accumulation Quirks to boost the rate at which my One For All grows so that it doesn't take a 100+ years to reach the same level of power the original One For All had accumulated.

I already have the Quirks I need to accomplish this very task.

One of them: Solar Build-Up, let's me absorb solar energy from the sun to nourish my body, allowing me to remain healthy and strong for long periods of time.

Kinda like Superman.

But unfortunately, it doesn't give me any monstrous physical attributes. It just keeps me healthy.

That energy it absorbs will be transferred to the One For All Quirk.

The second one, Light Accumulation, allows me to accumulate and store light energy from the sun, similar to the Solar Accumulation Quirk.

It also keeps me healthy and energetic, reguvenating me whenever I'm tired or sore.

Pretty helpful.

The last one and probably the most useful among the lot is Kinetic Accumulation.

It allows me to accumulate Kinetic Energy, if it wasn't obvious already from it's name.

Unlike the other Quirks, it doesn't do anything special to me. The energy just sits there quietly inside of me, only dissipating from my body when it accumulates too much.

I can't even manipulate it at all.

The reason I still call it the most useful one, despite it not doing anything special for me like the others, is because when I train the only attack-based Quirk in my collection or Active Quirk, as I like to call them, the speed at which I amass Kinetic Energy increases in proportion to my actions, making it the highest Energy Accumulating Quirk in my set right now.

Really useful. This way, when I train with One For All in the future, the Quirk is also growing exponentially faster than it would if I had just sat around, relying on my Energy Accumulation Quirks alone.

And considering I'll be doing a lot of training in the foreseeable future…

Yeah, it's a real Godsend.

I call these three Quirks: Supplementary Quirks or Passive Quirks due to their effects.

Just thinking about this combination makes me all the more excited to gain One For All.

With my own One For All growing in the background and Midoriya's own One For All in the spotlight, I won't have to worry about attracting All For One's attention any time soon.

And when I do decide to show the power of my own One For All, All For One wouldn't stand a chance against me by then.

This is my way of mitigating the first risk associated with One For All.

As for the second one…

I'm not really sure on how to deal with that.

None of the shorts I watched mentioned anything on how to deal with this or give out any information that could help me form a solution.

Right now, I'm just hoping that getting a copy of a Quirk doesn't mean that I'll get to have a copy of the users consciousness as well.

That'll mean that there will be atleast two versions of the same person out there due to me.

Even the My Hero Academia verse can't go as far as to be so outrageous…

Right?

*Sigh*

'Whatever, I'll deal with it when it comes. I've done what I can.'

I thought as I drew in the last detail on my work, just as the bell for the end of class rung.

*DING*

"Yeah! Fuck you school!!" A random classmate shouted as the students immediately started rushing out of the class, hindering the teacher from finding the culprit.

'Random but understandable.' I thought as I got up, admiring my piece of work that depicted the image of a man carrying a literal mountain.

The little drops of rock and earth separating themselves from the mountain were all detailed perfectly with the colossal uninhabited space from which the mountain was pulled out of adding a scary level of depth to the art.

I smiled at my work before proceeding to pack my things into my bag, making sure to carefully wrap my artwork into its case as I got ready to go home.

"You ready?"

I turned to my side to see Yui already done packing her bags, leaning on her desk with her hands folded beneath her chest as she stared at me with her usual blank expression.

I smiled slightly at her before hoisting my bag onto my shoulders.

"Always have been." I replied as she nodded at me before walking towards the door of the classroom.

"Then keep up." I smiled at her words before walking casually after her, blocking out the sounds of chaos occurring in the classroom as the teacher tried to regain what little amount of control he had left.

'One For All, you will be mine by the end of the month.'
