BNHA / MHA : The Musketeer Hero

When a random John Doe wakes up in a popular fictional world where currently most of its population has developed superpowers called "Quirks", of which allowed the rise of heroes and villains. He finds himself reborn as someone who eventually will have the ability to mimic the quirks of others. This gives him the potential to be the most versatile hero ever in existence, due to the fact that he can have multiple powers at any point and can always copy more. Deciding to prove that the one who was once considered a joke character will have the last laugh and take his place as the joker of the deck. Getting stronger on his own, while still taking every chance he is presented. Might not be one for the path of nobleness, but he will follow it nonetheless. Mimicking our idols isn't enough. You have to aim above and go beyond PLUS ULTRA! And as the chivalrous swordsmen who fight for justice once said: UNUS PRO OMNIBUS, OMNES PRO UNO! AU. End of the first semester

The bell rang at U.A highschool, Aizawa had just finished correcting our tests and giving us our ranks. "Alright, that's it for class today. There's only one week left before your final exams. I'm sure you're all studying constantly, right? Don't forget to keep training, the written exam is only one element. There's also the practical portion to worry about, good luck!"

Never really understood why they rank students. I mean, wouldn't they consider that students might have the same grade? Or perhaps, the first place might not score high enough?

But now it makes more sense, our classification has a more psychological reason behind it. Contrary to the canon, here class 1A and 1B aren't set on stone, if someone from 1A slacks off on their results, they will be transferred to class 1B and vice versa.

This time there weren't any students like Kaminari and Mina that were complaining to not have taken notes this semester. Our entrance exam had already placed them on 1B due to their average performance.

Though Tokoyami still pointed out that we weren't allowed enough free time lately.

"Those midterms were definitely lacking some intellectual substance. I should've expected that there would be no shortage of difficulty regarding our finals." Reiko remarked to Yui. Both placed 11th and 12th respectively.

"Heh, I hear ya. Even though I already had the written aspect covered, it's really nice that I had plenty of time to train my combat abilities." Stated Shihai with an air of superiority. He reached the 9th position.

"Good for you, but I still had my fair share of difficulties with this kind of stuff." Muttered Awase a little annoyed, much due to him placing at 19th.

"Yeah, I wish I had prepared myself better." Mulled Kinoko, still recovering from her 20th place score.

"Guys! Don't despair, there's still enough time to catch up." Stated Inasa without shouting too much. "Monoma had helped me just before our internships, believe me when I say that we can go plus ultra before our finals!"

He isn't lying!

Despite how well the big guy mastered his quirk, the dude was completely clueless regarding actual study.

"Yes, our class rep will surely be expecting that we all will make U.A proud and go to training camp together!" Remarked Iida, a little more formal than he usually is.

Probably because he got at 5th place.

"It's pretty hard to fail if you paid attention during our class, so don't worry too much." Commented Todoroki trying his best to not sound arrogant. His 6th place wasn't bad, but wasn't exceptional either.

And boy was he aware of that.

"Thanks guys! I will definitely recover myself from this!" Said Kinoko with a little more resolve behind her words.

"Excellent! If you want, me and Monoma could cut you up to speed on the important items." Offered Momo as we were both class representatives and secretaries.

She was still proud that she got second place. Guess she is one of the few that weren't expecting to surpass me.

That might be a problem. I wanted them to be more confident in themselves, seeing me as just someone impossible to reach might be detrimental to their growth.

Gotta find a way to show them I'm only human, preferably without downplaying me too much.

But still, for Momo, second place was still impressive given that the number one had actually aced the tests.

Oh, yeah. I managed to pull it off.

Not an easy task, I had one clone studying during the semester so I wouldn't fail. But with all the effort I had with making Inasa understand the difference between our class subjects, I can say that it had paid off greatly.

Anyways, Jirou accepted Momo's offer alongside most of our class.

At least, despite their difficulties, they still had some basic understanding of quadratic functions and classical japanese.

Talking about you big guy, musclehead isn't a nickname you want to have stuck on you.

"This is wonderful! Yes! Let's do it!" Shouted Momo with excitement after seeing that many classmates took her offer. "We can hold our studies sessions at my residence over the weekend!" She smiled at me, I knew how much having friends meant to her. "I must call mother and have her prepare the great hall for us to set up, it will be the perfect spot!" She went. On and on gushing about the preparation details… and tea.

Humble bragging is basically Momo in a nutshell.

Gotta say though, the time I visited her house, her family had been very welcoming.

Her house was as big as mine, but to be fair the residence I've been living for the past years isn't exactly my family's only property. And not even its largest.

Excellent, my schedule wouldn't conflict at all.

I had somehow managed to convince Bakugou to study at his home after class during the week.

At the weekend I will be helping Momo and the others.

And on Sunday, I will help Gentle during his first day of work as his intern.

Yup, principal Nezu allowed it. Mostly because we won't be patrolling, only visiting a junior school.

During lunch I heard everyone hypothesizing what the practical tests might be, although kendo said we were going to face robots, I knew it wasn't the case.

Thanks to Midoriya joining us with his girlfriend and talking about some special project that he and Mei were chosen to work on, I had some proper way of hinting to the others that it wouldn't be a simple fight against robots.

Midoriya didn't know exactly for whom he was building those weight restraints, but through basic deduction he told us it might have something to do with our finals.

By the way, his girlfriend was lovely. And yes, I'm definitely respecting their relationship. Just like I did with Gentle and La Brava.

Shinso also joined us, everyone could see the muscle gain my workout routine had proportioned to him, despite the short period of time he had since the Sports Festival.

—————————————————————————————————————

And so my week continued.

I had a lot of ground to cover.

Advanced Mathematics, Physics and chemistry. Quirk Laws, Legal Heroism, Social Studies, English and Classical Japanese… the list went on and on.

It wasn't a mystery why we would have three days for our written tests.

"Dude, are you coming to our class reunion?"i asked Bakugou while we were making our way back from class.

"Reunion? What reunion?" Bakugou asked.

"Our class from Aldera Junior High has marked a reunion after our final exams." I told him, ignoring the fact that they had not invited him. "I've already confirmed with Midoriya."

"Like I would waste my time with those losers!" He rebutted, probably aware that he wasn't invited.

"C'mon, I insist. Tell you what, if I mark higher than you on our written test you will have to go." I proposed.

"And if I win?" He asked. "Was in it for me?"

"If you score higher than we will spar again!" I said immediately, drawing his attention.

"You are on!" He accepted.

"Welcome Monoma! It's been ages since you haven't visited us! Glad you and my knuckle head of a son are finally becoming friends again." One of the hottest milfs I had ever seen greeted me when we reached Bakugou's house. "Look at you all grow up, what have you been eating young man? You look so handsome and fit, all the girls at U.A must be giving you trouble."

"Thanks for the compliments ma'am! Time has been kind to me. You on the contrary, are as pretty as the day I've first seen you." I replied to Mitsuki.

"Go away old hag! Do you need me to call the police?" Shouted Bakugou with his usual annoyed tone. "C'mon thief!"

Bakugou's short temper had to come from somewhere, after his comment I already knew what was going to happen.

She smacked him right there without ceremony. "Stupid brat! Show more respect to your mother! Especially in front of guests!"

They began yelling to one another, but eventually they settled down.

"I will prepare some sandwiches for the young promising heroes!" Mitsuki stated while ignoring Bakugou completely.

"Thank you very much ma'am." I replied with my charismatic smile.

I had forgotten how broken it was, she immediately blushed and went to prepare food.

Man, that bubbly butt and jiggling boobs must be mine someday.

Sorry but not sorry Bakugou.

I was initially planning to have Toga cosplaying as her after I got my hands on her blood, not that I won't do it, but now I had to conquer the real deal as well.

The fact that Mitsuki had divorced her husband already was just another incentive.

Again, sorry but not sorry Bakugou.

The days passed and after some flirting, I had earned a smooch on the cheek from MItsuki.

Yeah baby.

Bakugou didn't seem to notice or care though, strangely enough.

My victory strike had to be stopped when the weekend arrived, I still wanted to present myself as the honorable prince charming for Momo's parents.

Though the other girls sure tried to prevent that, I managed to survive our study session while still helping my classmates.

After that, I had my internship with Gentle. "Ah, how's everything going young Monoma?"

"I can't complain." I replied with a smile.

"Excellent! So, shall we?" Gentle asked.

"You first!"

"Must thank you for helping me out… again!" He told me.

"Don't sweat it man!" I replied. "I know how this means to you. Besides, I'm happy to help with quirk counseling."

"I can see, your quirk is special in that way. You can sympathize with them on an level I could only dream of achieving. But I want to help kids that are facing what La Brava has gone through."

"I can respect that."

We made our way towards the elementary school and the classroom teacher greeted us. "Welcome heroes! The kids have been waiting for you!"

She was a young woman of average height and grey eyes. Had white hair, flecked with a few noticeable traces of a crimson-like color, which is mostly shoulder-length aside from the ear-length side bangs she sports and the short clump she leaves hanging down her forehead.

In a word, cute while still being sexy.

Man, in my previous life I wasn't as lucky as these kids were.

Oh, if the clues I've been giving weren't enough. I will come out straight, the one welcoming me and Gentle was none other than Fuyumi Todorok.

Yes baby!

Bonus round!

Sorry but not sorry Shouto.

Written exam - Day 3

The exams were challenging, but I'm pretty sure if I haven't aced them, I've come really close.

"Alright, time's up! Put your pencils down, the last of each row bring the answer sheets to me." Said Aizawa with his usual tired expression.

Kinoko and Awase were very vocally thankful to me and Momo, not only did they fill every question, but also finished early enough to double check their answers.

Ochako and Jirou even hugged me out of the blue. They were a little too touchy with their hands though.

Not that I'm complaining. But I wasn't the only one to notice.

So you can imagine their embarrassment when Shihai teased us.

I had to chuckle. Sorry.

The others also showed some gratitude and expressed great satisfaction with their own performance.

Exception being Bakugou, who was angry with a question we had argued during our time studying. Sucks for him to not recognize I had more experience with Legal Heroism.

But just like that, the three days of written exams were over.

It was harder than what I had in my previous life, but I'm not the same guy am I?

Our practical exam was in a way expected, at least by me, but still very engaging.

Practical Exam Area - Center Plaza

"Now then, let's begin the last test." Aizawa announced while surrounded by the other teachers from U.A. "Remember, it is still possible to fail this final. So don't make any stupid mistakes."

When my classmates noticed the other teachers, it didn't take long for them to connect the dots.

The anticipation was almost palpable.

Always a master of great entrance, Principal Nezu came out of Aizawa"s binding cloths and began explaining what we were going to have to deal with.

More precisely, with whom.

But instead of having us fight each teacher alongside a partner, we were expected to fight them all.

As a large team.

We will be receiving scores individually, but the main objective is to escape or incapacitate our instructors.

"Wait, don't tell me! The twenty of us will have to fight only nine of you?" Questioned Bakugou loudly.

You had to ask, didn't you?

"Actually…" Began Nezu.

Surpassing the Principal in regards to entrance, All MIght landed doing his usual triumphant entrance. "I am here! To fight!"

Bakugou was the one who was most excited by this turn of events.

"Well, at least we have Monoma with us." Said Jirou and Ochako.

Wtf girls!? Stop jinxing us!

"I'm afraid that won't be the case." Added Nezu. "Mr. Monoma will be exempt from this test."

"But principal…" I tried to argue.

But the animal with a quirk interrupted me. "I believe I speak to everyone here that you"ve already earned your admission this semester. By rescuing your classmates and even teachers from the attack from that villainous faction, and by going beyond during your internship, we can't possibly evaluate you beyond your past feats."

All Might approached me. "Don't worry young Monoma! I'm aware of how protective you are of your classmates, but you already helped them greatly through this semester. They trusted in you, now it's your turn to show the same trust back."

I really wanted to argue and insist that I should participate as well, but truth be told, it wouldn't be fair.

I needed them to be less dependent on me.

"I understand sensei!" I told All Might before turning to my classmates. "Everyone, give your best! That's an order!"

"Yes class rep! We will!" I heard most of them replying.

The ones that didn"t reply were the ones that I wasn't worried at all.

From the match I had against the entire class, I noticed that Shoto and Inasa were finally working together. Just like Bakugou was learning to strategize beyond blasting his foes with greater force.

I trust they would succeed.

Look at me.

At the beginning of the semester, I could barely stand their quirky excitement.

Now it's like we've been friends our entire life.

I know, it might be cringe and even lame looking from outside.

But that's just how I feel.

—————————————————————————————————————

Watching alongside Recovery Girl, I made myself comfortable and waited for the exam to commence.

All Might was by far the heavy hitter, a foe capable of devastating entire city blocks with a regular punc of his. He had been saving energy for days only to be able to help test my class.

As much Bakugou tried, he still could overwhelm him with his powerful blasts. Thankfully, he was much more pragmatic this time, he and Todoroki had discovered a way of amplifying their destructive power by combining the explosions with the jets of fire.

And Todoroki's ice helped Bakugou cooldown more quickly.

But All MIght's restraints were by far the heaviest and more taxing than the others instructors.

Especially if we take into consideration his brawling fighting style.

Someone like Principal Nezu or Cementoss wouldn't suffer from the same levels of restraint given their camping style of fighting.

Just like in cannon, both were responsible for testing the students by modifying the scenery. But man, Nezu's chain reaction combined with Cementoss's constructions were a little bit too much.

Count in Powerloader acting like the fucking Killer Croc from Batman Arkham Asylum and you have a nightmare for those with low mobility.

The trio was very hard to properly counter. Inasa provided a better notion from where the attacks were coming and soared through the skies whenever he could while Ochako helped those not fast enough.

Jirou sensed Power Loader approaching from the ground vibrations and Kirishima stomped and charged through whatever cement avalanche Cementoss sent towards them.

Thanks to the restraints Izuku and Mei manufactured, 13 and Midnight wouldn't be running around the exam arena, and with their range being much shorter than the previous trio, but they still weren't someone you should take lightly.

Reiko and Inasa were the main defense whenever the group met both teachers.

While Ibara and Awase were the ones responsible for "capturing" the teachers.

Present Mic and Snipe were obviously the campers of the match. Mic took the same strategy he used against Jirou and Koji during canon. But it seems Aizawa had told him to be more careful, they were almost treading on friendly fire territory.

Yui and Momo were of great importance for the team to endure his shouts since Inasa and Jirou weren't skilled or powerful enough to cancel it.

Snipe took his name seriously and became the sniper elite he was obviously used to be.

Man, with his Homing quirk he was like a mixture of deadshot from Dc and Bullseye from Marvel with a talent to use the "force". He might be using rubber bullets, but Kirishima and Todoroki were basically the only ones that had the luxury of tanking them.

Kinoko's Mushrooms were their solution to avoid getting lost in the concrete jungle that was the arena they were taking the exam.

With Aizawa being the second hardest foe to face, the group relied on Tokoyami and Shihai to fight him from the shadows.

Since Aizawa couldn't properly see them, their quirks weren't that easily erased. But without his injuries from the U.S.J, Aizawa quickly adapted to the unfavorable situation.

If not for a brilliant sneak attack from Toru, Aizawa might've captured them.

Although Ectoplasm didn't use his quirk to the extent I could, his rapid recovery time almost overwhelmed Kendo and Shouji, but by keeping track of the real one Shouji helped Kendo take him out.

"Different to All Might, the close combat fighters obviously are having difficulties with fighting your classmates. But the idea isn't to defeat them, but to actually incentivise team work." Recovery Girl pointed out.

"Very wise from U.A teachers to deduce that would be a great skill to test. Since the villains' attacks are intensifying, heroes have to rely on each other to face any problems." I said while watching footage of Iida scouting the group's surroundings alongside Tsuyu.

When Inasa and Tokoyami found out that the exit gate was near, they all dispersed into smaller groups and advanced towards it.

From what I saw, Principal Nezu was already satisfied with the team's effort to avoid his chain attacks, so he just joined me and Recovery Girl. Alongside the captured teachers, other instructors also joined the watching room.

This place was getting crowded.

But not all teachers had retreated.

When the team banded together again before crossing the gate, they met All Might waiting for them on the finish line a few minutes before their time to complete the test was up.

"A villain will always plan ahead to spoil the heroes' plan. Now back off, or you will have to face me!" Warned All Might on his villainous tone.

But instead of backing away, the entire class fought together.

Although All Might was used to fighting hordes of villains, he wasn't on his prime anymore, and the energy he had saved up until now was about to end.

Inasa used the move he used to defeat Kirishima, but not to asphyxiate, he instead took most of the air surrounding All Might. That was supposed to be a technique he had come up to face me as well.

Deprived of enough surrounding air, All Might had a hard time breathing and hearing, but the main objective was to neutralize his blasting punches.

Todoroki lowered the temperature, making the area inside Inasa's vortex to become even more rarefied.

The others did their best to help stall him. Yui and Momo showered him with my glue grenades while Ibara and Kinoko covered him with their vines and mushrooms.

The big guy was obviously proud of their coordinated attack, but he still wanted to test their limits.

It was then that All Might decided to rush at them, tanking everyone's attacks.

But before he could properly free himself from everything stuck on him, Reiko aided Ochako to touch his back.

That was all it would take for Bakugou to finally have his moment to shine.

With all the sweat he had collected thanks to Todoroki heat control, he blasted the weight less All Might out of the arena similar to how I had blasted him during our match at the Sports Festival.

The bastard pulled a version of Deku's "get out of the way All Might" while smiling widely.

"That was very ingenious of them. I can't help to wonder if they had those moves prepared for someone else." Stated the principal while obviously hinting that I was the source of such dedication.

"Beats me." I joked and heard Snipe chuckle.

After all that, the principal announced the end of our finals exams and sent us back home.

Talking with All MIght, I discovered he had definitely felt Bakugou's last attack.

Be it thanks to his power being far from what they were or a clear proof of Bakugou's growth was up to debate.

But boy, the big guy was proud.

An entire class of first years working so well together is definitely a first for him.

For the rest of the day I had nothing to do other than hanging out with Gentle and La Brava, Toga was glad to accompany me too.

The results of both written and practical exams were still being evaluated, so we would only receive our scores on the following day.

I wanted to hang out with the guys in the arcade, but I had promised to spend more time with Toga.

Hey, I'm a man of my word.

—————————————————————————————————————

The next day.

"Morning class." Said Aizawa as he entered our classroom. "Fortunately, everyone passed the finals exams. Which means that everyone is going to the training camp in the woods."

Man, even when he's clearly happy and impressed he still sounds bored.

"Although no one bombed the written exam, some had barely made it through the average score." Aizawa said. "So I can't stress enough that you shouldn't slack off. But for now, training camp will help you build your strength."

"I've prepared extra lessons for you." Aizawa told me out of the blue. "Orders from the principal."

"Understood sir." I replied.

Feeling a hand over my shoulder, I noticed it was Ochako. "Man, you can't catch a break, can you?"

"Sadly not." I smiled in response.

With that, we were dismissed.

—————————————————————————————————————

"This is going to be great." Kendo said to me.

I nodded in response. "I hope so."

"Looks like we'll be at training camp for a whole week." Commented Iida.

"Men, I definitely need to get a bigger suitcase then." Shihai remarked.

"Yeah, in my case I need to get a lot of stuff." Awase muttered.

I was waiting for Toru to suggest we should go shopping, but she didn't even mention it.

Weird.

Anyways, we were off tomorrow.

I better go collect that debt with Explosion Murder and go to my old class reunion after the 1st semester closing ceremony.

That reminds me, summer is about to begin.

In my past life, "summer break" happened during winter.

Insignificant trivia like this keeps reminding me that I'm not from around here.
