- Chapter 8 - Diamond

"What is...this?"

Aky said as he was now in the middle of a snowy field as it was a stormy and windy atmosphere around him. It was snowing as well.

He looks forward as he sees a figure of a little girl with pointy horns on her head.

"Who is- Huh?!"

He said as he notices the horns on her head. He takes a step forward. The little girl had a smile on her face although her eyes and forehead were covered in some kind of dark matter.

"I love snow! But...it covers all the flowers. And flowers are so pretty!"

The little girl said. Aky stared at her as he froze. He didn't say absolutely anything.

"Is everything okay? ꃳꌅꊿꋖꁝꑀꌅ?"

The girl said. Her last word was completely untelligible.

"What is this place?"

Aky said in confusion and shock as he was still staring at the girl. The girl's smile lowers a bit as she tilts her head.

"What are you talking about? ꃳꌅꊿꋖꁝꑀꌅ?"

The girl said. Once again her last word was completely untelligible.

"What are you...saying? Who are you?"

Aky said. The girl's smile lowers more as she is now not smiling anymore.

"You just froze and now you are saying some weird things. Are you maybe sick, ꃳꌅꊿꋖꁝꑀꌅ?"

The girl said. Aky now paid close attention to her mouth as his eyes now widened in shock.

He suddendly began to walk forward and then speed his movement up slowly.

"Wa-Wait up..."

He said as he then began to run. Even though he was running, he was very slowly getting closer to her. Suddendly a dark figure appeared behind the girl as it puts its dark hands on her shoulders.

"WAIT UP!"

Aky yells as he was slowly getting closer. But the closer he got, the more the figure behind the girl was bringing her closer to it.

"Come on legs! Run faster damn it!"

Aky yells as he was obviously running pretty slowly.

"DON'T GO!"

Aky yells again as he jumps forward to bring the girl into a hug. The figure behind her rises its finger as a cut appears on Aky's cheek and leaves a mark of blood on the snowy floor.

"Not yet. ꃳꌅꊿ-"

Aky wakes up from that dream as soon as the girl was about to say the last word. Aky touches his cheek as he feels something rather rough. He looks at his index and middle finger to find two drops of blood mixed with a few tears.

"What was that dream? It was way more different than the others."

He said. He obviously remembered the whole dream. He regained a large chunk of his memory at the moment he looked at the little girl's mouth while she was calling him an untelligible name.

"Sister...little sister...She is the only one I remember from my past. But why...Why was this dream different now?"

Aky looks at the window beside him as it was dawn. Suddendly a flash of memories flashes before him as they only contained the moments he had alone with his sister.

"That's right. Niza reminds me of her..."

He was being treated well lately by Niza, he doesn't really know why. She is also looking up to him. Another small flash of memories flashes before him.

"Why do I act so nice to you? Hmm...I dunno. But I can just say that...you are amazing Aky!"

Niza says in a flash of a memory. Then a flash of Aky's little sister appears as her eyes are once again unseen and blurred almost completely.

"You are amazing! Big brother!"

Aky holds his forehead as he smiles to himself.

"Yeah, I should enjoy it while I can. That shadow thing, I have a feeling that's someone who stole my memories. But that bastard left a scar on my face after they injured me in my dream. That means they're a hundred percent real!"

Aky thought to himself. He was unaware that someone was watching him from the window.

"Yo! Sleepyhead! You've been staring at the celling for minutes!"

Niza said as she greeted him from the window, she was basically hanging like a bat while doing that.

"Huh?! What are you doing this early in the morning?!"

Aky said in shock. Niza shrugs.

"Just checking on my karate dragon pal!"

She says as she walks in.

"I don't use karate. Well, maybe just a little bit..."

Aky said.

"Meh! Like I know how martial arts work! I just throw hands and legs!"

Niza said as she had a cheeky grin on her face. She gets in as she leans her chin on the bed.

"I wish I could fight you agaaaaain..."

She said as she was looking pretty bored. Aky sits up as he pushes his hair back from his eyes.

"Not at the moment, Niza."

He says as he looks down on her. She seems a bit too needy for a fight as she begins to pull him by his wrist.

"Come on! It will be quick! I suppose...You don't have to use your flames!"

Niza said but Aky seemed to not be interested. He grabs her by her wrist and pushes it away slowly as he gets up from the bed.

"You're no fuuuuun..."

Niza says as she pouts. She follows Aky out of his bedroom and then to the main door of the apartment.

"Huh? Are you going to eat your breakfast?"

Niza tilts her head in confusion as she asks Aky the question. Aky just puts on a tight T-shirt on as well as some old fashioned grey baggy pants specifically made for fighting and training.

"I've changed my routine, Niza. I'm going to meditate and train for at least two hours before breakfast."

Aky says as he looks at the clock on the wall, it is exactly 6:30 A.M.

"But! But you have to eat first! Don't you need energy?"

Niza said.

"It is only safe to eat 2 hours before breakfast. If I eat now and train right after I'll most definitely vomit all of my food out!"

Aky said as he opened the door behind him. But Niza still seemed to be worried about his hunger.

"But you have to eat as soon as you wake up!"

Niza said but Aky just looks at her with a blank expression on his face.

"You are the only one who does that. And perhaps Risa's gramps...But let me do me! I'll eat later!"

Aky said as he steps out of the door. Niza suddendly grabs him by his arm.

"Can I...Can I go with you?"

Niza asked him with a nervous smile on her face knowing that she ate several minutes ago before arriving to Aky's window.

"Of course not. Not because I don't want you to interrupt me, but because you are definitely going to vomit in the middle of our training! Besides! You are probably gonna consider meditation as boring! And you will interrupt me with your groaning during my meditation! Am I not right?"

Aky said to Niza. Niza pouts again and nods her head as he doesn't say anything.

"Good. So stay here if you want to, but don't wake Risa up, okay?"

Aky said. Niza nods again. Aky then just walks away.

The same day...

9:30 A.M. Boston, USA...

The Spiral's facility...

One of many facilities made by The Spiral. Jin, the founder of the company, hasn't fully revealed why these facilities exist. He told the public that they are made for discoveries which are meant for the improvement of humanity. No one knew what was in there, not even the world leaders, except for Jin and a few of his high ranked co-workers.

Jin is now entering the main room of the Boston facility.

"Good morning. How is she doing?"

Jin asked a scientist that was observing something through a window.

"Morning, boss. About the subject, she has been in deep sleep for a whole week. We'll have to provide nourishment for her as soon as she wakes up. We brought fresh meat and water for her."

The scientist said. A smirk appears on Jin's face as he looks through the window too.

"Demi-humans are surely a great discovery. Many of them are valuable for human improvement. But this one...She will be the most valuable in giving us the information we need. I believe that she has the same value as the one we've seen in Japan with our drone, that one will provide us a lot of power. With this one and him, we would be unstoppable. After all, her ability would be a massive step forward in our mission."

Jin said.

Behind the window was a well decorated room with many beautiful features like plants and stones. The girl inside of it was a demi-human, but not just any demi-human, she is a dragon, just like Aky and Niza. Unlike the two of them, she looked like a real blessing, white scales on her hands, legs and her tail. She seemed to be asleep for now.

She is having a long dream with multiple dreams in it.

"Where...Where am I?"

The dragon girl said as she is now inside of the dream where Aky met his sister. The same snowy field and in front of her was no one other than that shadowy figure who injured Aky in his dream.

"Who are you?"

The girl said with a shaky voice as she tried to back away. The shadowy figure put its long index finger on its mouth as like it was saying "hush".

"You are not supposed to know yet, Fikku."

The shadowy figure said to her. Fikku backs away for a bit as she is getting terrified.

"How do you know my name?! W-What do you want from me?!"

Fikku said in a shaky voice. A shadowy figure then opened its arms as a humanoid figure appeared in front of it. It then reveals a full body of another dragon demi-human, it was Aky.

"Recognize this face?"

The shadowy figure asked Fikku. Fikku then freezes as she indeed recognizes Aky.

"I-It's him...The grandson of the first and only Golden dragon! Why are you bringing him up?!"

Fikku asked. The shadowy figure then chuckled as Aky's body disappears in front of it.

"You are currently in the world of humans and so he is. You will soon meet him, I will not say when, but you will eventually find him."

The shadowy figure said as it then points its index finger towards Fikku.

"He needs you. But first...You need him."

The shadowy figure then disappears after saying that.

Fikku gasps as she wakes up from her long dream. Her eyes spread wide as she is finally wide awake. Her eyes are unique as they are having a glow and a color of a pure diamond.

"What was that? My whole mind is dizzy."

Fikku said as she covers her eye with her hand. Jin then comes into the room as he sits down on a rock.

"You're finally wide awake? That's a good thing!"

Jin said as he smiled. Fikku just stared at him.

"A human? So it is true..."

Fikku thought to herself as she realized that the figure in her dreams was telling the truth.

"Why am I here?"

Fikku asked Jin as she was getting up.

"You are a rare type of species, so obviously we have to keep you safe from anyone that could harm you!"

Jin said to her as he leans back against a rock behind him.

"You are beautiful too! One of, if not, the most beautiful creatures a human eye has seen!"

Jin said. Although Fikku was uncomfortable with all of this, just from looking at him she knew that Jin is like every other human that is in serch for glory upon every living being. But she decided to play along since she believes that the shadowy creature in her dream was sure that she would survive this phase.

"Very kind of you, human. So are there more individuals who are the same species like me? Or am I the only one you've found?"

Fikku asked curiously as she kneels down on the grassy floor of the room. Jin's smirk then aidens a bit after that question.

"We've figured out that you are a dragon. So, we did find two more: another female one that uses pink flames and a male one who uses blue flames. The male one seems very interesting, he is taller than an average human and he is undoubtably a one man army!"

Jin said to her. Fikku then realized who he is talking about.

"I don't know the pink one. But the one with blue flames has got to be him! The Golden dragon's grandson! He most definitely lost his memory after the massive incident!"

Fikku thought to herself as she was not showing any signs of distress. She nods.

"I see, is there also a way that I could meet those two?"

Fikku asked Jin. Jin gets up from the rock and spins his keys around his index finger.

"Surely! But I don't think it would be soon, so you will have to be patient! Is that okay?"

Jin said. Without saying a word, Fikku nodded as she watched Jin get out of the room.

"So they are probably planning on capturing him next! I don't think they would like to capture the female one since she is most definitely not stronger and more skilled than him."

Fikku thought to herself. Suddendly she sees that she isn't alone in the containment room, there is a small sparrow too. But something seemed off. Fikku gets closer as she picks up the bird gently in her hands. It had a broken wing.

"Poor thing. I can't imagine the things these humans did to capture you too. Just so I can't be the only living thing in this room."

Fikku said. The sparrow seemed to not be scared at all. Fikku put two fingers on the sparrow's wing as it almost instantly got healed.

"I would have been happier if you were outside and free just like all the birds should.I don't mind being alone in here."

Fikku said with a smile. She raised her arms as she tried to make the sparrow fly away, but it somehow seemed to be stuck on her hand.

It was already attached to Fikku even though it met her a few moments ago.

"She is able to heal any wound?"

A rookie scientist asked as he looked at Fikku through a window. Jin was beside him as he was smirking for the whole time.

"Not only that. But she can also do something that only higher beings can do..."

"...she can resurrect anything from the dead."

Jin said.

Fikku is a blessing. She might not be physically as nearly as powerful as Aky and Niza, but her ability is one of the most powerful abilities in the whole universe. Beside her ability, her beauty was indeed a blessing too as she is able to attract almost anything that sees her.

...

Last night...

11:47 P.M.

New York...

A large wall of ice quickly grows high as it is taller than every skyscraper. On top of it was Okure as she was letting out a massive amounts of energy while Sung was keeping up with her.

"Shit! He is just getting faster and faster!"

Okure thought to herself as her ice wall suddendly gets cut into pieces by Sung's lightning bolts. She blocks the blade of his spear with the blade of her sword.

"You can't run away! Fight or die as a coward!"

Sung screams at her as he seems to be enjoying this fight.

"You are mean enough to hurt a woman huh?! Then I'll show you what I can do!"

Okure screams out as her blade gets covered in flames because of Sung's lightnings. They repel against eachother as Okure charges forward after creating an ice platform in the air to bounce off towards Sung. He then responds in the same way as he jumps up from a building.

- CHING -

The sound of two blades colliding is heard as Okure lands on a building while Sung is staying in the air.

"Tsk! This man is just insane."

Okure said as she brushes her bloody cheek as a cut appears on it. But her frown turns into a smile as she knew that she was able to cut Sung too.

"You managed to hit me once? Just once?! Jin was right! You are a faliu-"

Sung's voice cuts off as multiple cuts appear on his chest, arm, hip and leg. They were not too deep, but they surely sting Sung a lot.

"What was that?! I didn't hear you!"

Okure asked Sung in an arrogant tone of voice as she chuckled. She then suddendly jumps up towards him and clashes her blade with his once again.

"Women are strong too! Don't underestimate us! Especially me!"

Okure screamed as she seemed to be getting stronger and faster too.

"Jin told me that this girl is just a nobody. But that all seems to be false! She is actually on par with her sister!"

Sung thought to himself. Okure quickly lands a kick on his stomach as she sends him flying down towards a building.

Okure falls back on the ground as she is now having slight white marks on her face. Her ability is getting stronger.

Okure is now using 130% of her power!

"I'll end this here and now!"

Okure said. But before she can move, she is struck by an unknown shock that leaves her frozen in place. Behind her is a young teenage looking boy who has two brown rocks on his right and left side.

"Curse activation."

The boy said as he seemed to be making Okure unable to move.

"You sure are a party pooper, Sebastian! It was just getting fun!"

Sung said as he was now beside him. The boy, Sebastian turns his head over to him.

"Boss said that it's time to stop. Besides, my curse effect will go away before we can do our main act."

Sebastian said. Sung then points in front of him as Okure now disappeared.

"She already got away."

Sung said.

Okure is now back in the tunnel as she seems to be trembling a lot. She is also pretty mad.

"I wanted just one thing. One damn thing! I wanted to see that damn bitch of my sister! Next time I'll break them all before I break my sister! That stupid pig! I shouldn't even be calling her a sister!"

Okure said as she is pretty mad at herself but also at her sister and everyone else that stopped her from getting towards her.

...

Present time...

10:32 A.M.

Sendai...

Aky was sitting in front of the dinnertable as he has finished his breakfast. Beside him was Niza who was still stuffing her mouth with food.

"Don't you think it's enough? You've eaten more than I have eaten in the past few days!"

Aky said, but Niza doesn't seem to budge. Risa just chuckles.

"Come on Aky, don't be like that to her! She is a guest after all!"

Risa said while she was placing the dishes in the dishwasher.

All of the sudden...

- RUMBLE -

The ground rumbles for a second as all the people of Sendai were heard screaming in the streets. There was a giant snout of a reptile peeking through the street's road. It was not just any snout, but a snout of a snake.

"What's this now?!"

Niza said as she looked at the street through a window with Aky.

"I don't really know. But it is surely a threat!"

Aky said. He suddendly opens the window and jumps out towards the main street where the snout was.

"Hey! Wait for me!"

Niza shouted as she followed him.

"Yo! Come ba- Ngh...Oh well, Aky sometimes knows better than I do, so I'll leave it up to him and Niza!"

Risa said as she shrugs.

Aky and Niza were now on the street beside the snout.

"Woah! Who are those two?"

"They are one of those demi-humans!"

"So cool!"

The crowd around them was amazed by their looks alone.

"Niza, I don't know what this is. But I will have to investigate. So just stay back and let me do my thing. If it does jump out and attack me, don't hesitate to kill it. Alright?"

Aky asked Niza. She immidiately nods as she watches Aky step forward towards the snout.

As soon as Aky touched the scaly snout...

- CRASH -

- CRUMBLE -

...a massive green snake quickly gets out as it was as tall as the biggest buildings in the city. It almost immidiately charges down towards Aky.

"Aky!"

Niza screams out to him as she is charging up her pink flames. Aky has also quickly charged up his blue flames as he is about to shoot them out of his mouth towards the snake.

Sendai has been attacked by unknown reasons. Aky is about to engage in a fight for the second time and now along with Niza. Two of the most powerful forces will fight together.

...

But are they really the most powerful?
