A Canadian geologist returns to Africa after ten years to resume prospecting for deposits of coltan, an essential mineral for the manufacture of cell phones and other uses in electronics, whose consumption is increasing exponentially in the world. “I've been calling Alisha since this morning and I can't get her to answer me.

Newcomer to Venice from Bonn, Armin von Wernicke was taking apart his suitcase and answered Federica without paying much attention.

“What do you want to tell him?

“I want to invite you to dinner the three of us together tonight.

“Did you leave a message in his telephone box?
