Chapter 1️⃣6️⃣ - Talking to Nanami

It has been a week since I fought & met the first years. I'll help them here & there but nothing too serious.

'I wonder when I can take my mission to determine if I can move up to grade one or not' I thought sitting in a restaurant.

"Kamo - kun how has your training been going?" Momo asked.

"It's going good my next step is learning domain expansion. But for now, I need to see if I can take a mission to see if I can move up to grade 1." I said

"Domain expansion? the peak of jujutsu." Todo said. "Not an easy task even most grade 1s are not capable of using one."

"I can achieve it just need someone with experience in that field. Probably asked Principal Gakuganji pretty sure he can give me a gist on what to do after all he has been around for such a long time. If he can't help me I probably go to Tokyo & get Gojo to help but I wish that's the last scenario." I said sipping cold water.

"Hmm, by the way you're paying for the food right Kamo?" Momo asked with sparkle in her eyes.

"Yeah I pay it's not affecting my pockets." I said

"Nice!" Momo said

"Todo you think Yuki Tsukumo would help me in learning domain expansion? She is one of the special grade sorcerers." I said looking at Todo

"I don't know I asked when I see her again." He responded.

"By the way when are you going to apply to be a grade 1?" I asked

"Soon."

Three weeks passed. I was in Tokyo walking into the staff room I saw a door & knocked on it.

"Come in." Called a monotone voice.

Sliding the door open I saw a man with blond hair in a business suit. He was wearing a tan blazer with matching slacks & light shoes.

"Hello, Nanami - San." I said

"Kamo - Kun what do you need?" Nanami said

Taking a seat across from him making sure not to touch his paperwork.

"Last year I was granted semi-grade one after performing well on multiple missions with you. I was wondering when my mission to exorcise a grade 1 starts? I was just thinking if we could have a final date." I asked

"We could. I have been looking at missions that could probably be a grade 1 curse that would qualify you. I only found one maybe two missions as of right now." Nanami spoke going through papers.

"Thank you Nanami - san for all the work you did for finding me a mission." I said bowing a bit.

"It's no problem." Nanami said

"Nanami - San I would like to finish the mission this week can it be done around this time?" I requested

"Yes, Is there any day you'd like to schedule it?" He questioned

"Tomorrow." I said

'I could complete this mission & reach grade-one'

"Very well I contacted you tomorrow."

"Have a good day Nanami - San." I said Nodding walking out the door of the staff room.

10:39 PM

In my dorm I heard a knock at the door. Getting up I unlocked the door to see Momo.

"Yo Nishimiya." I said side stepping so she can enter.

"Hello Kamo." Momo responded

Walking inside Momo & I sat down on my bed. I grab some snacks from my mini fridge.

"Any news on that grade 1 mission?" Momo asked

"Yeah, Tomorrow I should be able to start my mission to exorcise a grade-one curse." I said

"This might be my first time seeing you excited." Momo said

"Yeah I'm excited to get this mission over with & becoming grade 1." I said eating some chips.

"Yeah, you have been waiting for how long now?"

"Like 3 weeks now. I'll like to become grade 1 before September ends." I said

"At least it's Nanami & not someone like Mei Mei just imagine..." Momo said

'Imagine...My god she would have me wait until a mission that gives good pay which would probably take longer' I thought sweating a bit.

"Your right ima just have to wait. Nanami is someone who is probably the best one for this."  I said.

"I came here to say good luck Kamo - kun." Momo said

"Oh? Who would've thought?" I said smiling a bit. "Thank you Nishimiya I appreciate it."

"Welp Im leaving I'm going to talk to the first-year girls." Momo said getting up & glided to the door opening it up. Before swinging it closed she stop & said "Goodnight Kamo - Kun." Then after that, she closed the door.

"Goodnight Nishimiya." I said.

After she left I got up to turn off the lights & prepared for bed.  I then slid under my covers & fell to sleep.
