Kuruyashiki words shocked not only Sai but also the surrounding shinigami.

As they were whispering to each other, Sai was really confused why Kuruyashiki wanted to push him into the spotlight while he didn't want to.

"Eight Division won't open our door for more recruit (" Kyoraku who was sitting silently suddenly opened his mouth and spoke to Mikoto

"I don't think I want any new members." Yutou spoke to Hoshi

"Fifth Division also had enough members for this year." Hoshi

"We had enough recruits for the time being" Osamu yawned

"I really don't like sneaky brat." Chidded Takoto besides him.

While none of them spoke toward him, Sai understood they sent him the same message.

'Kenpachi Kuruyashiki really had a great relationship with other captains' Sai looked towards Kuruyashiki as he thought.

Hanae who was standing in front of Sai suddenly released a strong reiatsu.

"Crush!"

"Ten no Ikari (Emperor's Rage)" she released her shikai.

"I won't go for any warm up" Holding her big war axe, Hanae said to Sai.

"Huufffff... I really don't like this. You know what? I don't see any difference between 7th or 5th. Why can't I just surrender?" Sai spoke.

"Nonsense. You hardly thought of surrender in last fight." Hanae replied.

"Sigh, I'll be honest then. I hate office work. The only reason I won the last match so I can have an assistant and I already got one just now. To think I was forced to add one more." Sai smirked.

"Slacking away is in your mind on the first day. You really have guts " Hanae squinted.

"I heard Captain Kyoraku always had a great time skipping from his works thanks to his assistant. He is my inspiration. It's a pity he didn't want me in his division." Sai replied.

Kyoraku who was at the side of the field was dumbfounded by Sai's words.

"I knew it! That behaviour is contiguous." Mikoto muttered as she stared towards Kyoraku ku.

"Enough! Released your zanpakuto and fight me." Hanae couldn't take it anymore and shouted.

"Sigh. Looks like I had another fight awaits if I didn't show my worth." Unsheathed his zanpakuto, Sai released a huge reiatsu.

"Sorry. I just graduated. My zanpakuto doesn't have its release form yet." after Sai said that, he increased his reiatsu and poured them out in huge amounts.

"This..." The surrounding shinigami were shocked by the huge amount of reiatsu especially the new recruits who were in the same class as Sai.

Sai that they knew, had never shown this kind of strength before. He was just as easygoing and as normal as them. All his evaluation was neither the highest in his class nor the lowest.

They had long forgotten what kind of nature Sai's reiatsu was as he rarely showed off any of his skills.

"Wew. This generation combat squad is really fierce. Those existing seated officers were already strong enough and another strong newbie appeared." Kyoraku smiled.

"Tch.. Are you kidding me? This boy had such great reiatsu under his control and went under the radar for 6 years?" Yutou twitched his mouth.

"I think Sensei already knew about this." Kyoraku added as he remembered Kuruyashiki's words during the recruitment ceremony.

Standing in front of Sai, Hanae could feel the reiatsu was pressuring her. Even in her shikai mode, she still felt suppressed. In response to Sai, she released more reiatsu.

Gripping on her war axe, she poured more reiatsu into it. The axe size immediately expanded as the reiatsu was added.

She then stepped forward and attacked Sai with the huge axe.

Having a huge axe didn't stop Hanae being fast. She was as fast as Sai who was responding to her.

Blocking Hanae's axe, Sai could feel the brute power behind the attack. It was entirely different level from his last fight.

Not only that, Hanae wasn't lacking in her skill as she managed to stop many of Sai's moves. Additionally she was really nimble in her movement while holding such a great power.

From the outside, the shinigami can see that Hanae and Sai's fight was almost as good as Ryōma and Kentarō fight. It was fierce and intense but less bloody compared to the previous one.

"Tch, look's like I have to go all out." Feeling that he can't easily win with his current strength, Sai decided to go all out.

Suddenly, Sai exploded with a bigger reiatsu. With a single swing, before he sent Hanae flying.

"This!!!" Seeing the explosive reiatsu even other captains was shocked.

"Humph, Shiki really earned big this time.These amount of reiatsu are already approaching captain level." Feeling the reiatsu, Hoshi commented.

"Humph, I admit that he got great reiatsu and good sword skill. For newbies that's it. But to be on our level is a different story. He ain't there yet." Yutou replied.

"Ugh, stop with that sour grape, he just graduated." Hoshi relied back.

"To think you have improved this much but still have no shikai... Hmm.. this is going to be great. Hehe." Kuruyashiki grinned as he was looking at Sai.

Landing on her foot, Hanae went forward for another attack.

Receiving her attack, Sai slashed her flying once again.

Even after being sent flying twice, Hanae still grabbed her axe and moved forward to attack.

"You won't give up aren't you?" Seeing the incoming attack Sai spoke as he focused on her movement.

As Hanae entered his range and attacked, Sai raised his fist and blocked the axe.

"Bakudo 8, Repulse!"

Deflecting the axe away, Sai swung his zanpakuto and cut her shoulder.

Slash!!!

The blood spurted away as Hanae fell on her back.

"It's my win." Sai spoke as he put his sword tip on Hanae's neck.

Hanae just nodded in acknowledgement.

"Welcome aboard. Please take care of my office work." Sheathing his zanpakuto, Sai grinned.
