Chapter 154 Love between senior and junior

This was the second time that Ichigo had come to Seireitei.

Soifon led him to where the enlistment office was located. As they walked through the bustling streets, Ichigo couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity. Memories of his previous visit flooded back, reminding him of many places he wanted to visit.

And again, this time. He didn't have time for that.

"Suifon Taicho-sama, Kurosaki Sanbanme-sama, greeting."

At the office, the two were greeted by the enlistment officer, who had a stern expression on his face. He quickly scanned Ichigo's identification papers and confirmed his appointment.

"Aizen-sama would be here in a moment. Please wait in the designated area."

The enlistment officer instructed, pointing towards a row of chairs. Ichigo and Suifon took their seats.

Soifon didn't have to wait with Ichigo because she was a captain but because she was his fiancee, she had to show him some affection, right?

She would bid him farewell like a lover should.

Ichigo and Soifon waited there and then there were many Shinigami who had come to the designated area and they walked toward the seat at the back. The front seats were for high-level Shinigami liked Ichigo.

As for Soifon, there wasn't a seat for her to begin with, as the enlistment was for the Shinigami below vice captain level.

Many low-level Shinigami looked at her in admiration and awe, knowing that she was a powerful captain despite not having a designated seat. Soifon's presence was very welcome here.

"Isn't that Soifon Taicho-sama? I heard that she got engaged to someone. Do you think it was the man seated next to her? Normally she wouldn't stay close to any man."

A low-level female Shinigami softly said to her friend.

Many female Shinigami whispered among themselves. They were intrigued by the possibility of a romantic relationship between Soifon and Ichigo, as it added an exciting twist to their usual duties as Shinigami.

Some even began speculating about how their love story would unfold and whether it would affect their roles within the Soul Society.

Ichigo and Soifon heard them clearly but they didn't react to them. It was true that they were in a relationship and there was no need to justify or explain it to anyone else.

They waited for some time, then someone came and sat next to him on the left.

"Soifon Taicho-sama, Kurosaki Sanbanme-sama, good morning."

The one who came to sit on his left was someone he had seen before but didn't have a chance to speak with.

Soifon accepted the greeting with a nod, while Ichigo also nodded but showed a curious expression.

"Oh, that's right, it was my fault to not introduce myself first. My name is Shiba Miyako. 3rd seated of the 13th division. Nice to meet you."

Shiba? Ichigo was surprised to hear his old man's old surname here. Isshin had told Ichigo everything about his true family name.

Ichigo nodded and smiled at her. She might be his aunt on the paternal side. So when they went to Hueco Mundo, He had to look out for her.

Now everyone had come so they had to wait for the leader of this expedition.

Aizen took his time before he arrived. He still wore his glasses so there's nothing to be concerned about. If the man would do something drastic,

"Yokoso watashi no shinigami (Welcome, My Shinigami). We are going to Hueco Mundo. And I would like to appoint Kurosaki Sanbanme to be my assistant."

Aizen got to the point; everyone looked at Ichigo. Many Shinigami question if this was favoritism or not, as Ichigo was seen to be very close to Soifon.

"Hoh, so there are so many of you who question my decisions."

Aizen said it with a gentle smile. Only those who knew him would know that someone was going to be in a world of pain.

"You, you, and you come out and fight with him. I don't want everyone to question my decision again in the future. You will know when you cross blade with him."

Aizen knew that Ichigo was very strong through the training chamber he sold to Yoruichi. He also knew something that Kisuke wanted to hide. Erasing his memories was something admirable but it couldn't escape his sharp intellect.

He already hacked into Kisuke's computer and read all the history of it. He found that Kisuke had experimented on Ichigo's blood but the result was completely deleted before he could read it further. His bug was discovered and destroyed.

That's why he wanted to know why Kisuke wanted to experiment on Ichigo's blood and why he had to erase his memories because of that.

'So intriguing,' Aizen thought to himself. 'There must be something truly significant about his blood if Kisuke went to such lengths to keep it hidden.' Aizen's curiosity grew, and he knew he had to find a way to uncover the truth behind Kisuke's experiments and the erased memories.
