Chapter 109 Something different

"So, I am angel, Yay!"

Orihime being Orihime, She didn't care what she was or what Ichigo was. She just felt happy that they could still be friend. 

Their friendship meant more to her than any labels or classifications. Orihime believed that, as long as they cared for each other, their differences didn't matter.

'Or maybe we can be something more.'

Orihime blushed at the thought, her heart fluttering with the possibility of a deeper connection between them. 

She couldn't help but wonder if there was potential for their friendship to blossom into something romantic.

"And I will tell you who has supernatural power too. So you won't feel left out."

Ichigo told her about someone who had supernatural power. Orihime's eyes widened in surprise as Ichigo revealed the names of their friends who had special powers.

"And you must remember that the supernatural world cannot be known by normal humans because it would cause chaos and panic."

Ichigo warned Orihime about the importance of keeping the supernatural side a secret. Orihime nodded and promised him that she would never reveal this secret to anyone.

And then she thought about Tatsuki. She felt bad that she could not tell her something very important. Orihime wondered how Tatsuki would react if she found out about the supernatural world.

Ichigo saw that she was depressed and knew why she became like that.

"Don't worry, Tatsuki also has a power hidden inside her. I will tell her when her power awakens."

Ichigo assured Orihime that he would tell Tatsuki about the supernatural world when the time was right. 

Orihime nodded. After her worry was cleared, she excitedly asked Ichigo how to use her power.

"You should go to see Akeno, She should know how to use holy power to some extent. She would be a better teacher than I am."

Ichigo suggested that Orihime seek guidance from Akeno, as she would have a better understanding of how to harness holy power.

"Okay."

Orihime felt a little disappointed but understood. She would take Ichigo's advice and ask for guidance from Akeno.

Talking about Akeno. She was absent from school because of family work. She still didn't come back from Fuyuki City.

Somehow, he missed her teasing him.

Ichigo shook his head and cleared his thoughts. Now he had work to do. He had to be prepared for when Kokabiel arrived.

Rias and Koneko were now talking with each other about what they should do so they could become stronger.

They then felt someone had come inside the condo, but they knew immediately who it was.

"Sona? What brought you here at this late?"

Rias asked Sona, who looked at her and felt really tired. Sona sighed and replied. 

"I apologize for the late visit, Rias. I couldn't sleep and wanted to discuss something important with you."

Seeing her feeling down like that, Rias nodded and invited her to sit down.

"Is it about that bastard again?"

That bastard that Rias had mentioned was the man that Sona hated the most. Diodora Astharoth.

"Yes, he wanted to hasten the time to marry me. He heard that Onee-sama had prepared something, so he didn't want her to act in time."

"How despicable. Riser also tried to do the same thing in the past as well. But Ichigo had already become one of the candidates a long time ago, so it wasn't a problem."

Yes, they had time to prepare for many years, but Sona wasn't the same. Since Ichigo still didn't officially declare that he would fight for Sona's hand in marriage, Diodora then used this time frame to his advantage and started making his move. 

He began wooing Sona with extravagant gestures and gifts. He didn't care about her, but about her family and their status. 

Diodora saw Sona as a means to elevate his own social standing and secure a powerful alliance. His actions were calculated and manipulative, aimed solely at achieving his own selfish ambitions.

"I will call Ichigo right now. Wait for me a little bit."

Rias said. This was why she was here in the first place. She wanted Ichigo to help her before it's too late.

Rias called Ichigo, which he answered immediately. 

"Rias? What is it for you to call me this late?"

She explained the urgency of the situation, and Ichigo went silent for a while before he spoke.

"Okay, I have officially declared it on the devil net. I knew that those nobles wouldn't listen to me directly, but they cared so much for their reputation. They won't be able to refuse except they admit that Diodora was a coward."

"W-What did you say in the devil net, Ichigo?"

Rias wanted to know, but he said that it was deleted a few seconds ago. But he was sure that many devils saw it, and the rumor would start not long after.

"Rias, Can I speak with Ichigo for a little bit?"

Rias looked at her curiously. She never interacted with him in private like this before. So she wanted to know what Sona wanted to say to him.

"Let's play chess."

Both Rias and Ichigo didn't know why she wanted him to play chess with her. No one knew because she never told anyone that she would only accept someone who was smarter than her as her husband.
