Of Course There Is A Giant!

I don't understand why it always has to turn out bad. By now, I had become a champion by taking on tough warriors, I was chosen as one of the members of the DELTA to die against Raptor, and I came to know about the Variaries clan and also defeated the Scaruns.

I thought that I had seen surprises, enough to not be surprised for a life time, but… well, I was wrong. In front of me was a large monster sleeping on the ground as if he had been working for a day straight. But then he woke and make a noise (which may be his yawn) loud enough for us to mistake it as a bomb explosion.

The monster was so fat that he blocked our way ahead. Of course we could go around him. But how could we miss a chance of getting crushed by a sleepy monster? "I have never seen one like it before." Oliver exclaimed. "It was a rumor….. I didn't take it seriously." Lily said in a small tone.

"Well, we are going to die." I spread my negative thoughts as usual. "No." Rock Flames decided. Lily nodded. "Sounge, up for a battle buddy?" Lily asked and almost immediately, Sounge rushed wildly around the monster. The monster had spotted us. Thankfully, it was a plain area that did not consist of trees, or else he would have thrown greenery at us left and right.

But trees weren't the only things he could use. All he had to do was to land a hit with his gigantic muscled arm and we were toast. At this situation, if I was in lead, I would order everyone to run for their lives. But you know, no one listens to the champion. The monster marched towards us, his feet taking hundred meters a step, shaking the hell out of the ground.

But if it got any sillier, Lily, too marched towards him with Sounge and a courageous Rock Flames behind her. Unable to leave them behind and run, I too rushed to the giant with my hermit. "Can you please turn on the auto button, buddy? Because I need to fight." I told my hermit foolishly. But instead of throwing me out of his back for such foolishness, he obeyed and lowered the speed so I could concentrate on the battle.

"Look at the poor warriors coming to the lion's den when they should be stopping Raptor!" The giant roared. None of us were expecting that. The next few moments went on questioning.

"You can speak?!" Lily exclaimed. "How do you know we have to fight Raptor?" Rock Flames demanded. "Are you Raptor?" Oliver enquired. "Is there a washroom? I need to pee." I said. Well, that last one was stupid.

"You will not have time to know the answers because you will die here and now! I will answer you if you can beat me, which is not going to be the case." The giant explained the challenge. Lily laughed almost wickedly. "Well, we accept. Get your weapons ready boys!" Lily declared.

Oliver unsheathed Tortunem and I got out Magnum. Rock Flames….. well, I felt bad for him. Then the battle began.
