And ever since the assassination of her mother, I haven't allowed Bella leave the house, I was so protective of her that I never allowed her leave my sight.

I was glad she was getting better, at least now she was talking and didn't cry again.

I called the doctor and he came over to do the pregnancy test and as expected, she was pregnant.

I was honestly happy, she was too, but she said she wished her mother was around to see her grandchild.

The fact that Bella wasn't pregnant gave me more reasons to be more overprotective, if anything happens to her, I loose her and my baby, fuck no!

Suzie was always coming to check up on her and teased happily that she would be an aunt soon.

I didn't let Bella go out, in fact I didn't even want anyone knowing she was pregnant, I wanted to keep us both safe till whenever.

I was in the living room today when she came downstairs slowly clutching her bag to her chest all dressed up.

She pouted looking like a three year old.

"Grey?" She called.

"What is it Baby?" I asked gesturing her to come over.

She did slowly and sat on my legs.

"Can..can..can I go to work today? I'm tired of staying at home" she asked pouting.

The face was so irresistible.

I sighed," one condition, I'm dropping and picking you up" I said

She nodded.

Then I looked at her tummy.

What she was wearing was difficult to notice that she was pregnant.

She stood up from my legs and I went upstairs to get my keys.

She stood at the base of the stairs smiling sheepishly.

I blushed," what's that creepy smile for?" I asked.

She shook her head," nothing"

I held her hands and took her outside and she got into the car, my body guards followed behind me as we drove out.

" Uhm Grey" she said.

"Mmm?"

" Can we uhm, I don't know...I'm hungry" she blurted out.

I stopped the car and parked at the side of the road , then I turned to look at her we'll hoping I heard well.

"You're what?" I almost shrieked.

She pouted," hungry" she whined.

" Bella you just finished two fucken bowls of chicken, a pack of extra large size pizza and almost 10 pancakes, are you okay??" I said shocked.

" It's not satisfying" she whined.

I dropped my head on the staring wheel and then sighed.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked.

"Chinese spaghetti" she said.

" Why can't we just get you normal spaghetti, besides the nearest Chinese restaurant is pretty far away" I stressed.

" I want Chinese spaghetti" she said again ignoring what I said.

I sighed,fucken pregnancy cravings

I turned the car and drove for almost an hour till I finally found the Chinese restaurant, I went through the drive- through and got the spaghetti and gave her.

Then she stared at me," I was tryna tell you something, but you were not listening, I was trying to say that I didn't want the spaghetti anymore, that I actually wanted chicken tacos from Tacos Tokulento, it's a new Italian restaurant that just came out, but you weren't listening" she said in a baby voice.

Breathe Grey, just breath, you're the reason she's pregnant, so deal with it

I didn't say anything, I drove back to town and found the restaurant. She literally ordered everything in their menu.

I won't be surprised if after all this, when she gives birth she'll be obese.

Just few blocks to her office, she said she wants blue berry flavoured ice cream.

I sighed and drove there and got it for her.

You know what? To cut the long story short, we literally drove to almost all the restaurants in San Diego.

Finally, she said she doesn't want to go to work again, that she was tired.

I sighed exhausted and started driving home.

"Grey one more thing"

I groaned.

"No this one is important"

"What is it?" I asked, now I was wishing that I wasn't the one driving.

"Can you uhm, okay so the thing is, initially I wanted you to take me somewhere else, but I just didn't know how to tell you, I didn't want all this junk,I just..I just... can you just take me to my mom's grave, one last time.

I promise I'm not going to come there again, I mean it, I just want to go through this and get over with it, please" she said honestly.

I sighed," you should have just told me initially" I said.

"I'm sorry, I was just scared that you were going to say no" she said.

I kissed her forehead," it's okay, let's go" I said and turned the car around.

Believe me, my body guards must have gotten tired of turning around over and over and over again.

Then, we arrived at the cemetery.

She pulled out her pregnancy test and walked out of the car and into the cemetery, she walked directly to her mom's grave.

I followed her behind.

She stopped and knelt in front of it.

"Hey Mom, it's me again, for the like, hundredth time again.

I miss you, I miss you so much, why I kept on coming over and over again was because it was hard for me to believe that you actually left, like you're dead, for real?

But you're gone now, resting in heaven, and I'm glad about that, very glad.

So, big news I'm pregnant, yeah I know it took you by surprise, and I know you always wanted to have your grand kids and hold them" then she dropped the test on the grave.

" But guess what? I'm healing, I'm finally letting you go, I know you didn't want to die that day, but you did because of me. I love you, always and forever ...

You'll always be in my heart, every single day. And I'm not going to disturb you anymore, I'm going to allow you to rest, I'm finally going to let go.

And as for your killers, I'm going to find them and send them straight to hell, and I promise to find my twin brother, I promise I will.

Rest in peace mama" she said and stayed there for a while staring at the grave.

Then she stood up and saw me standing behind her.

I brought her in for a hug and she hugged back.

" Let's go" she said forcing a smile.

I nodded and got into the car with her and after about 10 minutes of driving she shrieked.

" Oh my God I forgot the pregnancy test there"

"Fuck" I said and turned the car around and drove back.

She got out of the car and walked to her mother's grave, but the test wasn't there.

She looked at me confused, I was more confused.

Someone took the test? To do what?

I called the cemetery attendant.

"Apart from my wife and I, did you see anyone come to that grave site" I asked pointing towards the grave.

"Yes, there was someone already standing there beside the grave before you came earlier, then the person got into the persons car just minutes before you arrived, the person was about to drive away, but when the person saw you and your wife, the person waited, and when you were done,I think you left something on the grave side, so the person took it and then left with it just minutes ago, I thought you all came together so I didn't even budge ."

I raked my hair in frustration.

"What the fuck??" Bella half screamed.

"I don't understand, describe the person you saw" I said.

" I didn't really see the face because it was from a distance, but I think the person should be a bit tall, I think slightly taller than your wife, I can't guess the gender because the person wore a long black coat with a hood covering the persons, but I just noticed that the hair looked blonde" the man said.

I paced up and down in frustration.

"Why was someone in my mother's grave?". Bella asked frustrated.

"And why would the person want to take my.. - oh fuck it" she said upset and got into the car slamming the door behind.

I turned the the man," if anyone apart from my wife and comes close to that grave, please let me know, I promise you a handsome reward" I told the man and he nodded.

I got back into the car and we both sat there in silence thinking.

" What's the persons business with my mom's grave, why did the person come to see her? What's the correlation between the person and her, and why in God's name did the person carry the pregnancy test!?" She asked annoyed.

I called Martins and told him exactly what happened, He sounded even More frustrated than we were.

He said that they had gotten someone as a suspect, but it couldn't be the person anymore because the person was being interrogated currently and is with the police, and so it wasn't the person.

"Now this is just what's gonna make me want to kill that person the more, I'm not gonna give up so soon, I'm gonna kill that person" Bella said pissed.

Bella's Pov.

I stared in front of the mirror and frowned, who ever didn't tell me that pregnancy will make you ugly was mean.

I stared at my tummy, I worked for years eating vegetables and avoiding junks just so I could keep my flat tummy, and here was I with extra extra far tummy.

" I look hideous" I whined.

" No you're not" Grey said walking behind me and wrapped his hands around my waist, from behind.

He kissed my cheeks," you look beautiful" he added.

"You're just saying that to make me feel less bad" I cried.

He giggled.

" I mean look at me, I look like an amoeba" I added.

" Bella you're still sexy, did I mention that you got thicker?" He said.

" Lies, I'm so unsexy " I cried.

Then he leaded forward making me feel his erection on my ass.

" This convincing enough?" He said in that sexy voice of his.

" Can't wait for you to finally give birth, you don't know how long I've been waiting" he added and bit my ear.

I sighed.

" I don't want to do this pregnancy picture thingie" I added.

"Suzie said you should, that if you just show up one day with a kid in public, they are going to start talking nonsense, which is true in a way" he said.

I exhaled," fine".

Grey barely allowed me leave the house , and anytime I actually left, I went with him.

He got me a personal gynaecologist, a gym instructor to help me keep fit and everything he thought I would need to keep me out of the house.

I had cancelled most of my business endorsement with most companies including Nike, they said that when I was fit to return back to work, I could always reach out to them .

I didn't have much friends, so the few I had came to visit me once in a while and Suzie did everyday.

Everything between Grey and I had gone back to normal and I was happy.

Although my birthday , his and our anniversary passed and we couldn't celebrate any because I was still in my sad state, he said we could make up for it and we went back to Bella island.

We spent a month there and by the time we came back, I was fully back and no longer depressed.

And concerning the investigations and all, there was no progress, and the case started dying down slowly since we never heard from the person again...

That I hoped.

Today was my baby shower and photo dump.

I was going to give birth by next week, Trust me, I wasn't mentally prepared, I felt like once I tried pushing and the pain wasn't something bearable , I would just like down and sleep and wait for you baby to come out.

Suzie was already downstairs waiting for me.

Grey said he wouldn't be coming but he sent his men to go with us because he had work to do.

I approached the door when it opened and I wild smile spread across my face.

" Mrs Benson!" I shrieked and hugged her.

She hugged me too smiling.

" Hello dear Bella, oh my God it was true, just look at your tummy" she said excitedly.

" I didn't know you were coming" I said smiling.

" Well actually Grey called me and told me that you were due for birth and that you need a mother person kind of, so I volunteered to help, don't worry I'll be staying pretty long, just until you want me to leave" she said happily.

" Thank you so much" I said hugging her.

She laughed happily.

"I'm so happy, honestly it's like I'm having my grandchild, I knew you and Grey would work out" she said.

I smiled," trust me, it wasn't that easy "

" I understand" she said sweetly.

" Well actually we were going for the baby photo dump we'll be back later in the evening" I said.

" Oh that's fine then, have fun, I'll cook dinner" Mrs Benson said and helped herself inside.

Suzie and I went outside.

"That's Grey's nanny?" Suzie said with mockery.

"Was Suzie, was" I said and we both laughed.

After the whole picture thingie, we  uploaded the pictures and allowed everyone to know that I was pregnant.

Then Suzie went back to her house and I went back to mine.

I went home and met Grey and Mrs Benson enjoying each other's company.

It was nice seeing them together after so many years, but it was nicer because this time, there was no wall between Grey and I, we all flowed.
