Besides, if you aren't enough for me then you aren't good enough either. No boy is worth breaking my heart over." Red Hood kissed Andres lightly on the forehead, leaving a kiss mark behind, before resting his forehead against the others. "Thank you," Andres whispered after a few seconds of silence. "Anytime, darling." Chapter 8 (Andres POV) A few days later Red Hood woke up on Saturday morning with a huge headache, accompanied by sore muscles and the taste of metal in his mouth. He opened his eyes slowly, squinting as sunlight flooded through the bedroom blinds, causing his eyelids to feel heavy and his body to ache slightly. Red grunted before throwing his arm over his face to shield his eyes. He heard the bed beside him dip and heard rustling coming from underneath him, signalling that Andres must have woken up. When Red Hood opened his eyes a few minutes later, he saw that Andres had laid down next to him, still fully dressed despite the early hour of the day. "Hey, how're you doing?" Andres asked, his voice quiet and raspy due to sleepiness. Red Hood hummed in reply before sitting up, stretching and moving out of Andres' reach so that he could stand up. "I'm fine. Are you?" Red responded, yawning and scratching the back of his neck before turning towards the bathroom mirror and fixing his hair. "Just a bit sore, i didn't sleep well. But other than that, all good." Andres replied, getting up as well. He stretched his neck and arms before looking into the mirror as Red Hood approached, "Hey babe, you ready for breakfast?" "Sure." Red replied shortly. He hadn't yet had a chance to sit down and relax in the past few days, instead spending most of his time running around town doing patrol duties or hanging out with Andres, making plans for the future. Red Hood had been extremely happy that he finally met the perfect person to share his life with. Andres was his perfect match. There was no doubt about that. They both cared deeply for the others happiness, but Red Hood hoped and prayed that Andres would eventually see the errors in his ways and become comfortable enough with the change in lifestyle that he would come to love it as much as Red Hood did. He didn't want Andres to regret staying here for any longer than necessary. When they entered the kitchen, it was almost empty; only a single person sat in the chair at the table. Red Hood assumed that it must be the woman from the night before and walked towards her to greet her, "Good morning." The woman smiled up at him when he reached her, "Morning, sweetheart. Good to see you again." Red nodded his head in return before gesturing for Andres to sit down while he sat down next to the blonde. "This is Red Hood, my boyfriend," Andres introduced, smiling brightly at Red Hood once she got his attention. Red Hood waved awkwardly at her in greeting before returning his attention to Andres. He placed his hands on the table as he took a seat, his eyes never leaving Andres'. "It's nice to meet you, Red," She greeted kindly. Red Hood couldn't help but notice that she was beautiful, even though it was clear that she wasn't a supermodel. Her hair looked soft and shiny as she brushed it behind her ear. Her skin looked pale and flawless and her lips were plump and pink and inviting, her eyes were a gorgeous shade of blue and she had bright blue eyeshadow on that matched her lips perfectly. Even though she had dark red lipstick on, it looked stunning on her. Red Hood felt his heart beat rapidly. The couple spent the rest of their time catching up with each other. She shared many interesting stories about the people that she had encountered during her job and Red Hood talked about the latest events going on in his vigilante life, which made her seem excited. After finishing her breakfast she left them alone again to go get ready for work. Once she had disappeared upstairs, Red Hood looked over at Andres with a questioning gaze, "Was that girl alright?" Andres nodded in confirmation. "She seems...nice, but I can tell there's something on her mind. We're going on a date next week and she hasn't told me what it is yet. I don't know why she isn't telling me and i'm worried about her." Red Hood smiled lovingly as he remembered Andres being so kind and caring to the stranger. Red Hood wrapped an arm around Andres' waist, pulling him closer as his grip on the younger man tightened. "I'm sure she'll tell you. You'll figure it out." He assured his boyfriend, pressing a brief kiss to the top of his head, making him blush and turn away from him. Red Hood chuckled at his reaction and squeezed him once before pulling away. "We need to finish eating if you want to leave. Let's eat and then take a shower and we can go out for coffee today if you'd like." Red Hood and Andres spent the rest of the time eating until they finished, talking occasionally throughout the meal. Once they were done, they headed upstairs to their room to change. Red Hood stood outside the door
