Black Clover: Undefined

Beliefs, religion, and culture helped humanity thrive. They helped build societies, civilizations, and kingdoms. However, we cannot say that they are indeed morally good. This fanfiction tells the story of a young man who became the victim of such beliefs. After finding out the truth, he sets out to be what society thought of him to be. The one and only, devil child. I don't own the cover picture. Of course the same goes for Black Clover. --------------------

Chapter 79

-In another dimension-

A man in a long red robe is running up a large stairs. There, a woman in an elegant royal dress watches him as she sits on the throne. She looked holy and pure and the smile on her face exudes an aura of otherworldliness. If one were to look at her, they would say that she looks like a human. However, they would also immediately see the difference between her and a normal one. Her body and presence don't feel the same as normal humans. The same is true for the man in the red robe except less.

As the woman sits on the pearly white throne, the man bows down to her. The man then stood up straight as he readies to report to her.

"Your Majesty! I am here to report an unprecedented event before. Just now, we have detected a strange event yet to be recorded in our history. There has be-" Just then, the queen raises her hand making him stop speaking as he bowed his head in respect.

"General Palom, you need not to report it. Tell the advisors to not panic and let the guardians stand by. Once the time is right, and that time is soon… tell them to open up the Gates of Adamah." The queen said to Palom who was shocked.

"But… Your Majesty! Isn't it forbidden to open that gate?" Palom asked. The queen simply smiles at him and didn't answer. He bows on the ground immediately as he says loudly.

"I understood, Your Majesty!" He said as he stood up and left. The queen's face then turns from a smile to a worry as she submerged herself in deep thought.

'It was faint, but I'm sure that I'm not the only one. The Pandora's Box has just been opened. And everyone is out to see it for themselves.' She said to herself as her eyes reflected countless stars and galaxies and her palace slowly changed.

In another dimension, a man is standing on a tall mountain looking up at the sky. He has golden hair waving with the cold night air. Above him, large winged creatures were circulating as he simply watched the stars shining on the dark night sky. He smiles as if he saw something and his golden eyes shine too.

"Are the stars starting to align once again? I never thought that a third one would occur. Should I look into it? It just appeared after all. It wouldn't care as long as we don't disobey the rules." The man mumbles to himself.

In the underworld, an entity with white hair and four black horns was sitting on a throne. Below him were many demons doing what they do. Many were killing one another, some were indulging themselves however they could, while the others were simply there. Just then, an earthquake starts to happen making every single one of the demons, including the one sitting on the throne, confused.

"What is happening?" The demon said in his language calling on someone.

"Adrammelech! What is happening?" The demon on the throne asked. A demon with a pair of both round and curved black horns. Its body was covered in sac-like materials. It bowed down to the demon on the throne as it said, "No one knows, Lord Lucifer. Lord Beelzebub and Lord Megicula don't know too."

"Useless!" The demon shouts angrily as the lower one simply leaves with no change in its expression.

On several more dimensions, the same instances happened at the same time.

As everyone got accustomed to the shine of the 'sun', they lifted their heads to look at it. Just from seeing it, they were all speechless and amazed. As if the only thing they could do was to look and admire it. Suddenly, the glowing light starts to change. Its white glow turned red, then blue, yellow, green, orange, violet, and many more colors before it turned black.

Ryuya snaps out of his daze as he looks at Hisashi and sees him waving and moving his hand. He looks at the ball of light, onto Hisashi who removed his hat and asked.

"Hisashi, are ya okay? What's happenin'?" He surmised that his friend was somewhat controlling the ever-changing ball of light but didn't ask directly. Hisashi was silent for a moment before his mouth curved upward and his eyes shone with a subtle delight.

"It's… It's my power." He turns his right hand counterclockwise and subsequently, the glow of the light starts to dissipate and form something. When Hisashi finally closes his hands, the form has solidified and a scroll has appeared.

*Thud*

It falls to the floor, making the priest and the shrine maidens who were too amazed back into reality. They all took their time to breathe as they saw Hisashi walk up to the scroll and pick it up. It looks like any other normal scroll. It has a weird indistinguishable pattern on its cover but other than that, there was nothing special about its size or thickness.

When they thought that everything was finished, Hisashi moved three of his fingers as if controlling the scroll and the pattern on it changed. From a weird pattern to stars of varying sizes, the background darkens making it look like the night sky without the moon.

He moved his fingers once again and a picture of a moon appeared, along with some clouds making it look like a bright starry night sky. Everyone including Ryuya was simply watching this happen. When finally done, Hisashi takes the scroll and thrusts it on his chest.

They were surprised once again for the last time as it disappeared, as if his chest swallowed it. Ryuya broke the silence once again as he asked, this time, directly.

"What was that?! Where did yer scroll go? Also, I have never seen a scroll like that!" Hisashi looked at his friend with a deadpan expression as he said, "I stored it inside me."

"I saw that! The question is how can you do that?" Ryuya checks on Hisashi's kimono to make sure that the latter isn't playing a trick on him. He was about to use his Tengentsu when Hisashi answered reminding him that he couldn't see him in his special eye.

"I don't know. I just can. After all, it's my power. Besides, it isn't a scroll. I just made it take that form. Didn't you see it come out of me? Maybe that's why." They were all left with questions that Hisashi didn't know the answer to. Well, it's not that he doesn't. He just knows it instinctively, as if the body knows where to send the energy and nutrients when one eats food.

The priest and Ryuya ask a bit more questions but they conclude that Hisashi doesn't know what happened and how it happened. With this, Hisashi wears his straw hat and leaves with his friend. The shrine maiden and the priest also bade them farewell and swore that what happened would not spread. To which, it never and will never do.
