Way to the ritual -2

" My please you still remember me " rang a voice from all around the forest.

"I didn't expect you to get away unharmed from such a bomb that could even make captain out of service. Bravo Bravo! "

Julian noticed that he had already done all preparation by setting up a field with all sorts of poison but this time he had no reason to hold back.

'Let's finish this quickly'

Julian covered my body with reinforcement mana as well as mana skin to stop the effect of poison and released his mana all around.

Marcus shot several poison missiles which seemed more powerful than before. Julian concentrated mana around my hands and punched hard in his direction. A large red fist smashed in that direction destroying everything in its path. He nearly dodged Julian's attack as his figure disappeared and appeared in another place.

This ability of his was annoying, he could create a domain of poison in which he would move freely like a spatial mage. His body was not an illusion so Sharingan couldn't detect it.

With all preparation done, Julian decided to get rid of the domain completely.

Julian's aura sharpened as he muttered

[ Mana zone: flame hurricane ]

A threatening hurricane formed around him with a radius of 10 reaching up to a height of 100 m. With the suction pull of the hurricane, every bit of poison was drawn into it and destroyed. Powered by mana zone the suction pull was so large that even the trees got uprooted and went towards the hurricane.

With his zone gone he was in direct range of Julian's attack. Julian increased the range of the tornado and sucked Marcus within it. The ground under the hurricane burst open and a large amount of water entered the hurricane but that was not enough to diminish it.

Julian tilted his head as hundreds of invisible strings entered the hurricane and brought out Marcus.

The ground under Julian cracked as large blades made of water burst open. Julian dodged the attack and created some birds to find their location but his birds were destroyed by the invisible strings. Wings erupted from his back as he flew towards the figure of a mage while firing a beam of red flames. The figure burst open like a puddle of water while needles of poison were shot at Julian.

'Seems like they had prepared well this time but not enough '

Julian jumped in the air and breathed a sea of red flames all around the forest while cutting off the invisible strings on the way. A large sphere of water containing poison of Marcus was fired at Julian but it was evaporated by the punch of Julian. A sound wave emerged from the forest at Julian trying to burst the eardrums of Julian but a Blazing shield emerged all around Julian and reinforcement magic around his ears made him unharmed.

'First mistake, coming to the range of my vision '

Julian with his enhanced vision saw the person attacking him and aimed his finger toward him.

10 arrows of fire hovered around his hand and shot towards the person like missiles stabbing at different parts of his body.

The man screamed as the arrows burned him alive.

'Tsk' Marcus clicked his tongue and cast a spell that released invisible paralysis and other deadly poisons into the air.

Julian waved his hand the hurricane divided itself into three and started ravaging all the traps and spells set up by Marcus and the others.

Marcus made a giant snake twice the size of Julian, opening his mouth in an attempt to devour him but two large tentacles emerged from Julian's back and were destroyed by unhinging its jaw. Julian could feel the invisible strings wrapping against his body, the location from where the strings were cast was noticed by this Sharingan. The water mage cast a spell that sent a large number of water serpents similar to Marcus at Julian but they met the same fate as the other spells that were fired at him.

Julian jumped on the ground and prepared a spell when the water mage and Marcus attacked him with blades made of mana in their hand but Julian didn't stop mixing mana with the ground.

Julian's mastery of weapons surpassed both of them, with one swipe of his flame-made sword, Marcus somehow dodged the attack and was slammed into a tree clutching his arm but the water mage was cut in half.

Julian was not too happy as the water mage he cut turned out to be another clone.

10 more water clones emerged out of thin air and started attacking Julian from all directions.

[Dark flame magic: phoenix missile] the wing in his back released a large number of missiles that targeted Marcus and the water clones.

Julian looked down and smashed the ground below him with his flame-clad kick.

[Mana zone: Eruption wave ]

The ground 50 m around him burst into a large explosion of red flames that reached the sky. Everything in this area disintegrated, not even ash remained while creating a large crater that was still red from the temperature of Julian's flames.

'This should get rid of the string and water mage'.

Marcus covered had covered his body with reinforcement mana but the spell of Julian critically injured him. As he tried to balance himself red arrows stabbed all over his body which started burning his body.

"Don't struggle anymore, this is the end " said Julian as Marcus screamed with pain.

With his final attempt, Marcus tried using a final spell but his body lost all strength. The only thing he saw before dying were two red menacing eyes.

With him being dead Julian retracted the tornado and moved ahead towards the main boss. During the fight, he felt like his strength Marcus had received a huge boost but the two types of mana that clashed within him had increased almost 10 folds than before.

Before killing him, Julian had dragged his consciousness to his mind space to check his memories. With him not possessing mana pressure and Julian having Sharingan and advanced mana pressure, he saw a major portion of his life in a few seconds.

Marcus was a born commoner. When he was a child he was sold on the black market. He saw the world as a cursed place and wanted to end his life. One of the high-ranking agents took him in and trained and brainwashed him as a tool. Under him, he was trained to be an agent of the underworld. The person who took him is named Jason, A fat man who has the ambition to rule the clover kingdom.

There was a scientific team under him who developed new devices like the one that can protect against the effect of mana pressure. Julian was sure that he saw Sally work under him. One day a machine was developed that could increase magic power and Marcus was the first person to use the method. Under that method, his mana and power increased many folds. Some years later side effects started showing such as a weakened body and losing mana control sometimes. He figured out that the method almost drained his life force in exchange for mana. As we were severely brainwashed, he saw Jason as his god and savior and was ready to do anything for him.

A few days ago, a mysterious person approached Jason and gave him information about the power of Kirin in exchange for his scientific team. Being the ambitious person Jason was he accepted the deal. With that power, he could rule the Clover Kingdom. He didn't want to share the power so he didn't inform the other executives of the underworld. The entire family of Olivia was kidnapped but most of them were kept at their base and only four members were brought with them.

Marcus was given the last mission to guard buy as much time as possible. During the last fight, he used up his remaining vitality to fight against Julian.
