Dire Situation -2

Ice spikes rose from the ground towards Asta and Magna. A wave of the sword with a ball of fire was enough to destroy it. The battle continued with Asta using all of the moves Julian taught him to push back Heath.

Strings orange emerged from the fingers of Magna and moved Asta from the path which was bombarded with ice attacks.

'I have to say Vanessa's trick is pretty useful' thought Magna. A mage who regained consciousness immediately attacked Magna but he was hit on the head again by Magna's fire bat.

"It's useless, today this place will be your grave, " said Heath as he increased the power and speed of his attacks.

Multiple weapons of ice formed around Heath and shot towards Asta at a very fast speed.

Asta deflected the attacks by the flat side and swung it forward to cut through the strong attack.

'Now is the chance'Asta looked towards Magna.

A large ball of fire was compressed in Magna's hand which he threw towards Heath but it exploded into many pieces but none of them went to Heath. He was happy that the attack was missed, but he didn't expect Asta towards who the attack was directed reflected the attack towards him with double speed. His eyes widened but he couldn't react and got hit by the attack head-on. Asta didn't waste time and made a slash with his remaining strength. The sword hit him in the shoulder at the same time Noelle who had Heath as her target shot a water ball right towards the injury.

With another swing of Asta's sword, Heath was done.

" We did it!!! " Asta said dropping to the ground panting.

Noelle dropped the barrier and ran towards them.

Within a few minutes, the temperature of the village increased as the fog started disappearing.

" You two look like shit, " said Julian after he completely removed the fog from the village.

"You could have given us a hand!! Hmp! " complained Noelle.

Julian cast restraining magic on Heath and the rest and said. " I was ready to interfere in the fight if things went out of control. Asta and Noelle just joined the magic knights and the sooner they realize the danger of missions, the better. That being said Noelle, Asta good job, due to your timely actions people were unharmed and the case was solved. "

Magna too acknowledged their effort and gave them some encouragement.

"of course, it's my job, " said Asta proudly

'They praised me!!!' Noelle became happy.

It was a minute later they notice that Julian was dragging around 12- 13 unconscious people wearing the same robe as the attackers.

Julian healed Asta and Magna and told them to take some rest. None of the villagers died due to timely intervention, those who were gravely Injured were already healed by Julian.

In the evening the village chief woke up and thanked them all. He still remembered Julian from years ago. Magna went with the villagers to revive some memories while Noelle and Asta went to the chief's home.

Secre flew inside the chief's house and dropped the magic stone on Julian's palm and sat back on Julian's shoulder.

"You want me to have this ?"

Secre nodded

Asta saw the stone in Julian's hand and said"Grandpa is this the magic stone they were talking about".

The village chief saw the stone and remembered that he found the stone a few years back flowing in a river that came from the grand magic zone. He was saddened that the villagers' had to suffer because of that. He told Julian to keep that stone.

"You two can rest here, I have something to do"

Julian went outside and started guarding the bodies, he called for Finral to help him to carry them to the prisoner chamber. Heath woke up one moment and tried to commit suicide seeing his situation but a wave of pressure hit him before he lost consciousness again.

There are several branches of spatial magic like attack, short teleportation, storage, and lastly long-distance teleporter. Long Distance Teleporters like Finral are a few are present in the entirety of magic knights.

Above the village, an eyeball could be seen flying observing the village but a red bird collided with the eyeball destroying it.

Somewhere in a dark place, two people stood. One person was covering his eye which was bleeding.

" Lord, mission failed. The stone was taken by the black bulls "

" Hmm, don't worry let them have it for a while, we can take it back whenever we want, " said the other person with golden hair wearing the robe of the golden dawn.

He stood in front of a monument that had many similar stones embedded in them and a magic circle drawn on it.

Back in the Black Bulls base Asta and Noelle described their mission excitedly to everyone while eating dinner.

Yami looked at the report Julian gave and said ." What's your opinion on this? "

" This attack was coordinated, they were specifically searching for this stone, " said Julian by showing Yami a purple stone.

" Someone is pulling the strings ."

Yami looked at the stone while smoking. He didn't understand what was different about it apart from its design but Julian could see complex patterns made from magic inside the stone with Sharingan.

"I will keep this for a while and give it to you later on, "said Julian as he left.

" Magic stone huh…another troubling thing," said Yami.
