Difficult situation
Third Person POV :
Julian immaterially threw Leopold near the cage and casted [phoenix's cradle ] around everyone . This was an enhanced version of blazing shield which provided 360 protection .
Everything around him was in complete darkness . The things visible was the red shield , his red glowing eyes and green googles of the slave trader.
In spite of covering his face he was still affected by his magic , drowsiness filled him but he resisted. Julian was under a spell that was trying to make him sleep .
The mana Julian sensed from the opponent was less than him but the threat he felt from his was genuine .
Julian released his mana pressure on him but contrary to Julian's expectation he was unfazed ? 'Seems like he has a strong mid . I need to improve my mana pressure more '
"I didn't expect mana pressure from a runt like you . Say kid why not join the underworld , you can have money ,women, property ,everything . You have the qualification , don't waste it by staying in magic knights " said the man coughing again . Seems like he is truly ill.
" No thanks "
Normally Julian would try not to destroy the forest when fighting but in this fight he doesn't care .Walking up Leopold was useless as he would be more of a liability for now , he should be safe in the shied for now .Both launched spells at the same time

Dark purple javelins made of poison shot from him and met with Julian's spell creating an explosion . His flames didn't manage to cancel out the attack as he saw the ground corrode
This man was experienced , Julian need to go all out ,he concluded from the initial encounter . His opponent jumped on a tree with a crazy smile as if he was enjoying it .
Julian made daggers of mana shot towards him by making consecutive slashes . His opponent moved at a fast pace dodging my attacks and casted another spell .
[poison magic : million needle] . Almost endless no of needles covered Julian's vision . Julian blocked by creating a shield but noticed that every needle were releasing poison around it before disappearing . Julian's sense sharpened as he moved his body , the place he was standing exploded with a burst .' He has companions , he must be supporting from a distance . I have to get rid of him first ' . There were more attacks fired at him from various directions making it harder for Julian to accurately look for the ally.
Julian created flair wings on his back and flew towards the poison user shooting feathers which he confronted with creating wave of poison blocking Julian's vision . With sharingan Julian could predict his physical moves but wide range spells were hard to predict . Julian passed through the wave a punched hard with his [ flaming fist] towards him but in place of hitting him , his figure turned into smoke and Julian's fist ended up destroying the tree he was standing . This was not illusion magic as Julian could have seen through it .
He must have switched places when the smoke blocked my vision , so his magic evolved to have spatial properties .
" Haha Nice shot kid " Julian heard a voice from another tree not far from here .The ground near Julian exploded and tent rills made of rocks which were sharp as blades attacked Julian .
'Spark '
Julian's daggers and the tendrils clashed creating sparks , Julian kept destroying the tendrils but they kept forming .
" I forgot to introduce myself , I am Marcus , a humble worker of the underworld at your Service .
You must me Julian, the person chosen by the four leaf grimoire .There's quite a reward for your grimoire you know ."
" Why did you need these kids " I asked while sending [ phoenix missiles ] .
"why do you ask ? of course young slaves sell for a lot specially females . My offer still stands , join me I can offer you your own slave to do anything you want . " he answered while creating a giant snake opening its mouth and eating Julian's spells . This guy filled the entire battle field with multicolored smoke from which multiple arrows shot towards Julian . Along with the arrows he created multiple arrows were created from the surrounding smoke which not only aimed at Julian but also the shield he created . This bastard has set up an entire poison domain . The danger Julian sensed from the poison was lethal .
Julian closed one of his eyes and bird flew out from his body in the sky to look for the ally . It was a spell of Julian with which he could share his vision with a bird he created similar to Sister Theresa . This spell took a large mental toll so Julian doesn't use it often but there doesn't seem to an option now .
Julian shot towards Marcus again but this time too he created a wave of smoke making Julian miss . He kept dodging and defending but didn't use attack spells which made Julian feel something was wrong .
Julian shot towards him again but he was dodged more easily …a grim realization dawned upon him that its not that he was moving fast ,it was that Julian was getting slower . The more Julian moved the more slower he got . His mana control was getting messier .
He summoned flames again they exploded on me . This guy is filling the area with inflammation poison gas too . Julian could see that the sniper aimed both at him and the shield . Getting in hostage situation was the last thing he wanted so he reinforced the shield again . Due to how fast the battle was going Julian wasn't getting time to use higher flames .
Julian stopped all my movement and stud in one position as moving was getting harder as he was loosing control of his muscles with mind was getting affected .
" Seems like you have realized what condition are you in " he said with a mocking smile .
" paralyzing and sleeping poison " Julian said
" Correct answer , You see while you were busy hunting me I was spreading paralyzing gas . I know my short comings so I cant give up any chance to win can I . "
As he said that the sniper aimed at Julian creating a wound on his leg and tearing off some flesh .
