Vanessa looked towards the dark sky and thought " the sky is awfully dark today ….I hope Finral and Julian are doing good in the dungeon " .

Somewhere in a noble household ,a child looked towards his mother and asked " mother when will David big brother come home ? I haven't seen him for a week ."

" He should be busy in his missions, he will come home soon " she said looking towards the sky filled with dark clouds .

Julian POV :

Bep Bep Bep , a badge fixed on the uniform of Letiole ringed but I didn't have time to focus on what it was . I turned towards Finral and gave him a command." Finral get David and others to a corner , you won't be able to face its mana pressure head on . So get to a distance and support me . I am going to face it , If I don't we will all die" .

Even if I tell him , he is too scared to move , his entire body is sharing with fear ." FINRAL SNAP OUT OF IT , THEIR SAFETY DEPENDS ON YOU . MOVE !! " I screamed near his ears which brough him to his senses . The electric dragon had already condensed a ball of blue lightning beam in its mouth and shot towards me .Red flames covered my fist as reinforcement mana covered my entire body , with full force I punched towards the lightning ball .

"BOOM!! " our attacks collided creating an explosion but the I underestimated the power behind the attack . The left over energy hit me sending electricity thought my body , ignoring the pain I moved towards it by condensing flair wings and daggers .

This time my wings were not for flying but for fast movements and attack power so their form changed . The large wing I had summoned earlier compressed and divided into three parts with sharp tips for dealing damage.

The beast became furious as its prey retaliated and condensed another ball of mana in its mouth . I couldn't let that hit in this direction so I sent a slash towards him .

Zinogre shot a beam of electricity as I formed Blazing shield in hurry but didn't get time to condense it with darker flames .

The beam was stopped for a shot time before breaking through the shield and hit the place the other people were but fortunately Finral was able to move with everyone before the impact .

I condensed flames into my daggers and sent a slash but it brought its tail and blocked it like nothing .Its skin was tougher than my expectation , and one direct attack from its beam is the end for me . I sent wave after wave of flames and it tanked it with its electric clad tails .

[ Flame magic : phoenix missile ] countless small explosive birds attacked the dragon all over its body but a larger of electricity formed around it tanking half of them .

The beast plunged at me with a speed I didn't knew was possible for a beast of that size while releasing its pressure . With claws crackling with electricity it slashed at me which I responded with my own slash but my slash was overed powered and his attacks hit me drawing a trail of blood from by shoulder . I didn't have time to heal as it charged another attacks .

Finral tried creating a portal to take the attack but the portal was broken by the seer power of the attack . Zinogre released a slash from its claws towards Finral which was too fast for him to react . I moved him from that place while dodging that attack .

" Don't stand in one place and keep moving " I said while creating blaze shield around the fainted .

I concluded that I can't win with head on collision so I must attack its weak points . I looked towards the back of the beast and tried going for the place between its large spikes , my aim had to be accurate .

[ Flame magic : arrow of destiny ]

A large no of arrows shot towards its face but they didn't do any significant damage but it served its purpose of getting me a few seconds .

I dodged another claw nearly as I stabbed its drawing a slash on its back while releasing flames into its body .

[Flame magic : Flaming fist ] A fist of red flames hit the dragon in the jaw followed by an explosion.

" HOOOOWLLLLLLL!!!! "

The beast cried in pain and released a wave of intense electricity around it . I took the full blown attack and hit and crashed into the wall .

The attack charted my hands black and electrocuted me as I groaned with pain . The beast opened its mouth and large fangs of electricity formed on its already large teeth . Its fangs and my daggers collided but the force behind it was so large that my daggers broke apart along with cracks forming on my bones .

I slashed sideways to deflect the attack and shoot a bast of flames inside its mouth at the same time stabbing its face with my wings . I managed to get the beast off my but on of his fangs touched my hand creating a large wound along with sending electricity along my veins again .

The beast realized that I could hurt him so it released more of its pressure and made Finral faint too who tried to interfere .

This was bad as there is no guarantee anymore that I can keep them safe against this monster . I was constantly using mana pressure around me to fight so my mental strength is getting used up in a rapid rate .

I could see that the beast protected its head at all cost so I concluded that the finishing move should be made on his head .

I tried creating tentacles or nets to hold him in place but he was instantly able to break free out of it . More over the beast had started using a lightning cloak that was making it harder to get a good hit .

The weapon on its tail got charged with electricity and shot the beam at me . The beam was so strong that the shield I casted was destroyed like paper and hit me right in the leg snapping it in half.
