Breakthrough

After a few days of torturi-*cough* Playing with and questioning the civilian mages along with his prior research Rhya wrote down what he knew along with his questions.

'What is mana?'

'Mana an invisible energy that is everywhere similar to chakra but when mana goes into a vessel 'human' it refined itself converting into magical energy.'

'What is Magic?'

'Magic a simple refined version of mana used and manipulated by humans to create something that shouldn't exist in the forms of the 4 natures

•Fire

•Wind

•Earth

•Water

These four basic natures is what all people are born with only capable of using one of these Affinity's or a Subclass of the affinity.'

'Can Magic be refined even more?'

'Unknown'

'What is a subclass?'

'Subclasses are a type of magic that has been derived from one of the main classes examples of this being Lightning and Smoke Magic being derived from Wind Magic that being said it's still only possible for a person to use one Main Attribute or Subclass of magic, But a person could pick the types of magic they want to specialize in.'

'What are the types of Magic?'

'Even if a person is only born with one type of magic affinity that person has the choice of what type of magic they want to use an example is

Healing magic or Attack Magic

If a person was born with Fire Magic they could choose between fire attack magic or fire healing etc. Now this means that every mage is only able to use one attribute that they are born with but they can use many different types of spells as they aren't only limited to attack spells for example a wind attack mage could have

•Reinforcement Magic

•Offensive Magic

•Creation Magic

•Spirit Magic

•However because every mage is different they will usually specialize in one or two types as a mage who uses many different types of spells could be a problem for enemies it could also be a problem for himself as well.

Now this would normally be all true but in some cases it isn't especially in the case of the Diamond kingdoms experimental mages and their own knowledge of multiple types of mana being used by a single mage and Mage Stones.

'Someone What of a Grey Area'

•'Over the centuries Many new types of attributes were discovered in the clover kingdom such as Steel, Spatial, Light, and chain Magic's some of them being passed down by blood.

[But why? Why did these new attributes just suddenly start popping up?]

'Chakra'

•While Chakra does exist the amount of it in the atmosphere is minimal. Mana has been the primary source of power for humans while chakra seems undiscovered. One of the biggest Questions I have is like chakra is there 'Nature Magic' or 'Nature's Mana?' (More data will be needed.)

•If a Cursed Seal Of Heaven was to be placed on a person how would it react when taking in that large amount of mana?(More data needed)

•Can mana and Chakra be mixed or will they reject each other like the five Element seal?

Leaving his notes Rhya made his way towards the glass case that has a person floating inside.

'Now they aren't genetically modifying him are they?'

Looking around he found a small notebook under some papers beside the case.

'(Mana Mixing Experiment)'

'Oh they already thought of trying to get someone's body to adapt with a different nature of

mana naturally instead of using Mage Stones.'

One of Rhyas most research projects had been taking a unknown turn. He rounded up one of the male prisoners and placed him inside a empty glass tank in a induced coma, So he could be experimented on.

The experiment was if someone could hold Chakra and mana.

But he was also trying something that was written down by the previous guards.

Can a person hold two types of Magic?

Today he was checking the experiment by sending a sliver of his own fire element chakra into the man, Rhya could see the two different Affinity's clashing with each other slowly eating away at the mans mana.

Letting his pure Chakra run within the mans body Rhya watched it carefully. When the Chakra touched the rampaging mana something he saw surprised him instead of this Chakra trying to disrupt the mana, Both the mana signature, the mage stone and chakra started to calm down and start too circle around each other.

Rhya's jaw nearly hit the floor watching this happen.

But in the end he did what any other 'scientist' like himself would do and kept feeding his chakra.

After the two different mana signatures looked as if they were assimilated Rhya withdrew his chakra and sprinted towards the others.

"GUYS I MADE A DISCOVERY!" Rhya screamed as he ran down the hallway.

"yeah and what might that be?" the group asked with deadpan expressions.

"YOU KNOW THE TEST SUBJECT IN THE GLASS CASE? I FIGURED OUT HOW AND FUSED HIS MANA WITH THE STONE NOW WHERE IS HIS GRIMOIRE I WANNA SEE IT!" Rhya kept talking like a kid in a candy factory.

"...…you did WHAT?!" The group screamed.

"I used my chakra as a medium to fuse the two different types of magic together! I'm just that great ya'know" immediately after finishing his statement he slapped his hand over his mouth embarrassed.

"Oh why look at that the verbal tick is back." Torune mocked

"SHUTUP!" Rhya retorted.

"*sigh* we don't know what happened to the grimoires of these people Rhya." Fū spoke.

"Well that's a bummer." Rhya sulked.

"But anyways I figured out a good way to fuse different natures of mana, Simply using chakra as a medium will calm the clash between the two types of mana's down enough to stable out!" Rhya immediately got happier and started explaining.

"What happened exactly?" Fū said trying to calm Rhya down.

"Well, I started off by trying to send my own elementalized chakra into the man but his mana rejected it. His mana only calmed down when I injected some pure chakra inside of him. That allowed his mana and the magic stones mana to combine with one another and successfully expanded his mana pool, Along with the possibility of giving him another type of magic." Rhya calmly explained.

"Interesting, has the man woken up?" Tori asked.

"No but I plan to wake him from his coma soon but I'm going to put a seal on him like Lord Danzo does to the lower ranked Root." Rhya said.

"I see that's a very good plan, let us know when he is awake." Fū said and they all nodded and went back to what they were doing before hand.
